Am I the only person who thinks that Leo's whole morality thing get's skewed during his time away in 07?

Like Leo being morally dubious is always fun to write, and I love the idea that Leo's are either firmly against killing unless its the final option or scarily okay with it and brush it off half the time as 'neccesary'.

They are ninja after all. Ninja kill and Leo is obsessed w ninja (tho the moral values he usually has arent very 'ninja'-esque. Leo u aint a samuri babe ur a glorified assassin and spy /a)

But ya anywho. Methinks that 2 years of isolation with their only human contact being fighting mercenaries alone leaves Leo kicking off the rose tinted glasses with a passion and going full murder hobo; 'i need to stay alive so i can return to my family' styles.

Thus, while killing the Shredder was a necessity and 15-year-old Leo would have balked at murdering some random low-life to end a fight quicker, 19-year-old Leo is more like:

“Seven billion people in the world, and you’re overreacting because you accidentally killed one man.”

“But-“

“Seven. Billion. People. Now relax and drink your smoothie, we can watch John Wick or something.”

The Restart novel doesn't capture the sheer weirdness of Liu Sang nearly as well as the short story (interspersed with other shorts) about him set after Restart. I so want this Liu Sang (played by Liu Chang of course) to show up on screen someday.

Also, Tu Dian's love of ruining other people's days well deserves having his bombastic murderous plan utterly ruined by Liu Sang's disinterest in listening to him. nods

He had moved at a slow pace, navigating the more dangerous city center with caution and detouring around groups of verax engaged in violent revelry. This kind of darkness…Hob can’t remember the last time he was able to experience it. There isn’t even the flickering glow of torches to light the streets as had been the case in most of his memories of the city. He ponders briefly when the last time anyone had been able to see the night sky like this in London and his chest aches with longing to share this sight with Dream. OR Hob navigates the crumbling, near post-apocalyptic world and tackles the search for Dream head-on, but is only able to make headway through roundabout means.
