I do kinda quirk my eyebrow at how toh had the message of “being weird is ok!” and yet barely utilized their less human-looking characters (except for king and his dad, and I don’t even think they utilized papa titan well)

(here are examples of what I mean by less human looking characters)

#talk away ⌞🍵🍋 ⌝#I like making comparisons #so if had to #I would compare this to how neurotypical people preach neurodivergent acceptance #but they only mean that with neurodivergent traits that have been romanticized in media #if that makes sense #not a diss towards neurodivergent people btw #toh #toh critical #and like if toh didn’t have that message i wouldn’t care as much #it’s just that #for a show that preaches acceptance of being weird it sure loves to under utilize it’s weirder looking characters
