• it's not that you were a bad kisser, you were just wildly disproportionate to your boyfriend. he had his skill maxed out, every trick in the book, every bullet in the chamber to make you weak in the knees.

• when he comes home from a long day of work, the first thing he does is find you, like a needy moth to the brightest light. his kisses then are peppered, tracing from your collar to your temple.

• he snuggles up to your frame in what feels like an attempt to merge skin, his lips dragging along your cheek and making it itchy from the beginnings of stubble against his jaw. he'd mutter praises, lingering breaths against your skin as he kisses ever so softly.

• then, there are the bigger kisses. when johnny returns home from a months-long journey, he takes your breath away with an all-consuming kiss, clinging to the fabric of your clothes as if you may float away if he doesn't. when he's out of breath, it's only a moment of pulling away before he's back for another longer lasting kiss. johnny won't stop until you beg him to, pink in the face and lips swollen and messy. it's only then that a peck on the forehead is in order!

• johnny's kisses don't just stop at the lips. when given the opportunity, he'll simply drag them along your bare skin, tasting and appreciating every dip and curve you offer to him. he wants nothing more than constant physical contact, whether it be holding hands or kissing the back of your neck as he spoons you. he goes gomez-style, he'll romantically dip you just for a dramatic neck kiss, he'll squish your face tight and slap a fat, wet kiss onto your puckered mouth, or he'll attack you with a smothered grin, letting his lips linger on your chest for a cheeky moment.

• even as he rocks in and out of you, fingers intertwined during your moments of intimacy, he's transfixed on your pillowy lips as they part to moan his name. he wants to swallow those moans, take in your noises down his own throat and part with a string of saliva, pressing his forehead to yours as he nears his climax. his whimpers are cut off by pecks, murmured compliments and dreamy wishes to spend his life with you.

• johnny's kissed a lot of people, but you? you take the cake. he wants to be connected for as long as you'll let him, until you're both panting and giggling and slightly damp. he's in love with you, and he's got it bad. his favorite thing about you? how you let him kiss you whenever he wants... which is always.

Pride Backlighting Tutorial

A few people have shown interest in replicating the pride backlighting I did, so hey, here’s a quick tutorial below the cut.

Enjoy, and happy Pride Month. 🏳️‍🌈

STEP 1 — SETUP

First thing you’ll want to do is find a suitably dark background to bounce the light off of. I use the White Screen housing item dyed Soot Black, available from the Housing Merchant or Apartment Merchant in any of the housing zones for 3000 gil.

I line up 2-3 of them for coverage, but one will do if you're trying to be frugal.

If you don’t have an apartment or an FC room to use, try asking friends, FC mates, or even folks you share a Discord server with. You might even find someone who already has a studio space set up and is willing to let you use it!

Lighting in your studio space should be 0 (though you might have success at 1 as well), so make sure to adjust that or ask the studio owner if they can make that change before you start posing.

STEP 2 — GPOSE

Position your character(s) just a little ways back from the edge of the screen. You want some space between them and the screen so that the lighting can float there without casting a weird circle on the wall.

Hop into /gpose and bump up the “Manual brightness adjustment” to about 120 or whatever level allows you to see your character well enough to pose them. Pose to your heart's content.

STEP 3 — LIGHTS

Here’s the fun part. In the Light tab of the Gpose menu, switch all of your Light sources to Type 1, which has the shortest falloff radius (meaning it doesn't reach as far as Type 2 or 3). I also set all of my lights to one strong color to differentiate them while I worked on lighting—red, green, and blue, all maxed out at 255 (for now).

Swing your camera (still on all default settings) around to your character’s back and up above their head a little ways. This is where Light 1 (red) will go.

Now pan your camera down at about mid-back height and set Light 2 (green) there.

Pan your camera down one last time until you have a nice shot of your character’s butt and set Light 3 (blue).

Spin your camera back around and enjoy this nice little macaw-colored gradient.

STEP 4 — CAMERA

Set your camera angle.

The way FFIXV’s lighting works is partially dependent on how much light is in a shot. It will adjust a lot like your eyes do when you’re entering a dark room from a bright room, or vice versa. Your zoom level and camera angle are going to directly affect the lighting, so set this before you start messing with light strength and color. Sometimes this means weaker lighting will actually light your character better.

I ended up bringing my lights down to around ~160 and boosted the "Manual brightness adjustment" up quite a bit to get lighting I was happier with.

For a straightforward vertical shot, I like to have my Field of View (FOV) at 200 and of course my rotation is set to 90. Zoom in or out as needed. Remember to save your camera angle if you plan to pan around and fix things!

STEP 5 — COLOR

Make it ~queer~.

Take your flag of choice and pick out 2-3 “main” hues. Generally these will be the strongest hues in the flag, if not the only ones. Some flags, like the Pride/Progress/Intersex-Inclusive flag itself, are difficult to replicate for the sheer number of colors that are in it. You can loosely represent a rainbow with some adjustment to the RGB colors, if you’re determined to have a whole rainbow in there.

Shader Note: I recommend picking a shader preset that doesn’t mess too much with color so that colors are represented correctly. You may need to adjust light strength and “Manual brightness adjustment” to be compatible with your preset of choice. Bloom will also heavily affect the way your colors are showing up, so you may need to tone down the bloom FX or toggle it off entirely. This all depends on your preset, however.

If you’re not into RGB math, here are some cheat sheets! Not every flag is represented here of course, but I tried to cover as many colors as I could so that you could grab a color from another flag as needed! Please note that colors will need some adjustment for your own screenshot, presets, and preferences.

I wanna tell a little story. Just a little one. [Edit after typing: Yeah I ranted for a while. Oh well.]

I grew up with a dad who was extremely racist, extremely homophobic, and extremely abusive. Used to beat me and my brothers for 20+ years of my life, left us all with mental disorders and trust issues, you name it.

One such story of his homophobia and beatings is that my brother had a boyfriend at one point, and my dad hit him with a belt and screamed at him until he agreed to break up with said boyfriend, which he did.

Now cut ahead 20 years, my dad met an openly gay celebrity online and became friends with him. All the sudden, my dad was Mr. LGBT Pride. He was a writer, and suddenly started writing a book about a gay cowboy called Buck Justice. He would rent movies with gay actors in it, or gay themes, and was suddenly super pro gay.

It just left all of us disgusted, my brothers and my mom. We knew this man, but people on Facebook didn't. He had this huge friend group all the sudden of people calling him "Dad" and "Big Bob" and shit (When in reality, my dad called himself N*gger Bob and even had that written on the whiteboard next to his phone number), and he kept telling us all these stories and laughing and having a good time about how "Cool gay people are."

You see, it left a poor fucking taste in our mouth.

Because we had personally seen how horrible this man was. He beat us. He beat my bisexual brother. He was a fucking monster, but now that he was in some clique with a big popular movie star friend, he was suddenly this shining beacon of gay pride.

That's what bothers me when I see people on the internet acting the same way. I see the disingenuous nature of their actions. I see the popular people they're brown-nosing, I see the big popular bloggers and streamers they're trying to be friends with who are spouting the same bullshit.

And the reason it bothers me is because I know who these people are. I go back in their blogs like 1 month and find death threats, calls for violence, mental instability, extreme rage.

I go to their YouTube channels and find videos of them watching rats die on glue traps.

I get invited into their Discord servers and scroll back through the history of them talking with their friends and see just mountains of hate posting, calling for violence, wishing people would be killed, celebrating the death of people they hate.

That's why I don't do that shit. And why I don't tend to hang out with people who do. Because I know those people aren't really respectful people. I know they don't truly want equality.

I know the truth. From 20 years of belt marks on my back.

I know y'all are fucking disgusting people who are just pretending to be respectful advocates for equality and peace because the big celebrities and vloggers and streamers you wanna be friends with are saying the same shit.

You people aren't real. You are NPCs spouting NPC dialogue in hopes of getting some pseudo social credit score with big e-celebs while all it takes is 10 seconds of scrolling through your blog to find out you are the most disgusting, violent and unhinged person on the internet.

Update - February 2025

I didn't mean for it to be such awhile between updates but real life and my health don't want to offer me many breaks these days so here we are.

If you remember my last update back in September 2024 (link), I talked about my motivational struggles, the ongoing BS with the plagiarism machine and how it's affected my desire to share my work, and of course starting up my Discord.

Continuing with that, for the time being I'm slowly sending out invitations now. I'll give links out upon request via private/direct messages to keep out undesirables (by that I mean nasty people who have nothing better to do than be a nuisance bc they don't like my subject matter and really don't like that I told them to go shove it for their rude behavior towards me).

Something New

I do want to bring up that due to my recent struggles of feeling lost and unmotivated, something did spark my creative passion again.

It started out as a sort of vent project to get out my frustrations at the state of the world right now + things that I've been inspired by and passionate towards over the last year. It's developed into something that's become very special to me.

It's been interesting to start something new like this again. Develop and world build an entirely new story and characters from scratch at this current perspective of my life compared to "Everything Under the Stars".

EUTS was created when I was still young and hopeful about the future and I can definitely tell that in the almost two decades since, my view point on a lot has obviously changed so it's been nice to kinda start from scratch on something and not feel like I need to get into my younger self's head space to stay true to the nature of how EUTS was meant to be.

And please don't think that I've abandoned EUTS in any way. That is my pride and joy and life's journey of a project. It contains all the things I'm so very passionate about. Hell, back a few months ago I was digging through my EUTS folder and picked up an old sketch I liked and began heavily working on it in my attempt to motivate myself.

But atm, I feel very happy about this new project and I'm curious to see if those of you who have enjoyed my previous projects might enjoy this one, too. It gives me a bit of hope and motivation to start sharing again and see where it goes.

I'm gonna set little goals for myself to help push me to actually… do.. something. So in the spirit of this new project's theme, as with most of my subject matter, I think I'll focus on dropping a teaser on Valentine's Day and see how it goes from there. Can I ask how you went about starting your ace/aro group? How did you find people? I would love to do something like that in my area but have no idea how to start. I looked at making a group on Meetup but that's pretty expensive.

Yeah! I started with my friend who's also ace, so it helped that there were two of us. The main things we had to work out were where to meet and how to advertise. She booked a room at her non-religious "church" for Tuesday nights, and we made a flyer that we hung up around town in coffee shops and such. Our main advertising, however, was tabling at the local Pride. Our first year we had, like, a stack of our fliers and didn't even get our own booth - we shared a booth with the Bi+ Visibility group.

Our first meeting was the week after Pride, I think, and we had maybe 7 people show up? That whole first meeting we wrote up a group agreement of "rules" for the group and discussed logistics of how to communicate. Everyone there had Discord so I took down people's usernames and started a Discord server. For the next month, I posted a list of topics in the Discord and had people vote for which we should discuss. Things like "dating as an ace/aro person or opting not to date in a world obsessed with dating", "figuring out your identity", "coming out", etc. That meeting we just had a discussion about that - everyone saying what they wanted when they wanted. Basically we'd rinse and repeat that once a month and people kept coming. We had a holiday party in December and a Palentine's party near Valentine's Day. The group kept growing slowly but steadily, primarily through word of mouth.

The next year for Pride we got our own booth, which was our biggest expense (around $200), but we got a lot more people interested too. That year we made buttons in the ace and aro colors that said things like "I'd rather have garlic bread" and got ace/aro colored stickers online. We gave the first sticker/button away for free and asked for a donation if you wanted more than one. Year two was basically the same as year 1, just with more people. Eventually we added a second monthly meeting as we were pushing 20 people at each meeting which meant it was hard for everyone to have a turn to talk.

Last summer we needed to raise money if we were going to continue tabling at Pride (and we were thinking of incorporating as a nonprofit which takes money) so we held a benefit show. I play music so I got my band and two others to play, and several of our members do comedy so they did standup sets in between the bands. We got a percentage of the door as well as donations from that which meant we had an actual budget. Mostly we just spent that on the Pride booth and supplies for our crafty members to make cooler merch though.

We also ended up getting asked to table some other queer-friendly events at the history museum, which we did. I'm not sure we gained any members from that, but some of the more gay/lesbian centered queer orgs were introduced to us and (sometimes) to asexuality and aromanticism so that was cool.

Basically my advice to someone wanting to start a group is

0.5) Find someone to join you - doing this is easier if you have at least one other person to share the load. If you don't already know someone who's aspec, just be prepared to ask someone to step up pretty shortly after starting.

1) Find a place to meet. Libraries are a potential but aren't always open in the evenings. Churches are alright but might drive away non-religious people. I'd say a queer-friendly coffee shop might be your best bet.

2) Make some fliers and go to Pride (or another well-attended queer event/locale). Hand them out to people and invite them to the group.

3) Host your first meeting. You can either do what we did and decide on rules or just jump into talking about being aspec.

3.5) Create a way to keep in touch with people so you can tell them when the next meeting is happening.

4) Host more meetings, adjusting as necessary.

A minibang is an offshoot of a traditional fandom Big Bang. Big Bangs are events where writers come up with pitches for fics, then artists rank their top choices among those pitches, and everyone gets paired up into collab teams to make something for the event! Traditional big bangs are for longfic, but this is a chill tiny thing, so our word count minimum won't be that high (but writing longer fic is certainly encouraged!).

We have a discord server for this event, where all primary communication will take place! The link to join it is at the end of the signup form. If you've never done a bang or anything like it before, don't worry!!! This is aimed to be a pretty chill, casual event just for funsies, so jump on in!!!

The tentative schedule I have in mind is that we'll do claims and start the creative period in early April, then let people have April and May to work, and then sometime in June we can post (pride month Kon SWEEP). If that doesn't work for most people, though, we can fiddle with it! :D

here's the thing: finding irl queer spaces is either impossible or exhausting. if you’re in a conservative town, good luck even seeing another openly queer person, let alone finding a safe place to exist without side-eyes or worse.

even in big cities, queer spaces are often bars or clubs, but what about underage queer people? completely left out.

schools? workplaces? friend groups? all a gamble.

so where do queer people go? the internet.

online spaces become a second home, sometimes even the first. discord servers, niche twitter circles, random tumblr posts— these are where people find each other. it’s easier to be yourself when there’s no risk of some homophobic classmate or family member ruining your day. instead of hoping to stumble upon another queer person irl, you can literally log on and immediately be surrounded by people who get it. the internet fills the gap that the real world refuses to.

i mean, i live in a city where there are many queer people, and still, even i don't know more than 5 queer people.

if you’re queer, your favorite character is probably queer too, at least in your head. that’s because mainstream media still sucks at real representation. sure, we’ve got a few decent queer shows now, but for the longest time, it was either tragic endings, token side characters, abusive/cheater partner or completely nonexistent rep.

so what did queer people do? they made their own.

fanfiction, headcanons, text posts breaking down how that one character is obviously trans? all part of the culture. and it’s not just about seeing yourself in fictional characters— it’s about discovering who you are in the first place. the internet exposes you to terms and identities you wouldn’t hear about anywhere else. you grow up thinking you’re just “weird” until one day you see a tumblr post about aromanticism or genderfluidity and suddenly everything clicks.

i started reading yoonmin (bts) fanfictions on wattpad and that was when i became sure that i was queer. (i realized it bc i was in love with my science teacher, i couldn't pass science in middle school bc i was looking at my teacher's tits&lips instead of listening the class)

being out is not an option for everyone. some people live with homophobic families, work in unsafe environments, or just aren’t ready to deal with the exhausting conversations that come with being openly queer. but online? you can be as out as you want. you can use your real pronouns, your real name, talk about your real experiences; all without the fear of real-world consequences.

this is why so many queer people have separate online personas. a random twitter account where they can say whatever they want, a locked instagram just for their close queer-respecting friends, a discord server where they don’t have to filter themselves. the internet is the only place where some people get to exist authentically.

queer people have been at the forefront of internet activism forever. from early forum days to tiktok campaigns, online spaces are where activism thrives. social media makes it easier to organize, educate, and fight back. whether it’s a viral hashtag, a gofundme for a trans person in need, or an instagram story spreading resources; activism is a huge part of why queer people stay online.

but it’s not just about big movements. sometimes it’s as simple as finding people who understand your struggles. queer community online isn’t just about activism— it’s about fucking survival.

if there’s one thing queer people know how to do, it’s make a joke out of everything. the humor is different— it’s self-aware, ironic, sometimes dark, and always hyper-specific. it’s the kind of stuff that only makes sense if you’re in the community.

but it’s not just about being funny, it’s about survival. humor is a way to process trauma, to make oppression feel a little less suffocating. jokes about coming out, about queer stereotypes, about dealing with homophobic relatives; they all come from real experiences, but they turn something painful into something funny. and if you don’t laugh about it, you’ll probably cry about it.

i remember (in twitter) reading about this cis man talking shit about a girl (mtf) about how "he" was a boy no matter how "he" looks, and she was a fucking goddess. like, milk me mommy kind of goddess. then someone retweeted and said "if you don't fucking shut up, your pronouns will be was/were" IM FUCKING CRYING

irl sucks, so why not log into a better world? gaming, fanfiction, roleplaying, obsessing over comfort characters; these are all ways queer people escape reality. when your daily life is stressful or unsafe, online spaces become a refuge.

queer people also tend to form strong parasocial relationships with queer influencers or celebrities. watching a tiktok of someone who reminds you of yourself? feels validating. hearing a queer content creator talk about their experiences? suddenly you feel less alone. online spaces give queer people a place where they can breathe.

ok, let’s be honest. if you’re queer, at some point you’ve either gone to the internet for relationship advice or just straight-up vented about your situationship to strangers. queer relationships come with their own set of struggle. internalized homophobia, different levels of out-ness, weird power dynamics, exes that were also your first queer friend, and sometimes the only people who get it are other queer people, who happened to be online.

tiktok, reddit, tumblr and twitter have basically become queer therapy (for better or worse). people post their messy breakups, their toxic ex/partner stories, their need in sex advice, their questions about queer legends, their polycule drama: and the internet eats. it. up. sometimes it’s about getting real advice, but let’s be real, sometimes it’s just about talking shit. and honestly? i love talking shit, it's valid.

the internet is a never-ending queer group chat.

queer people are chronically online because, in a lot of ways, we have to be. the internet isn’t perfect, but it’s one of the few places where queer people can exist freely, find each other, and create their own spaces. logging off sounds nice in theory, but when the real world still doesn’t feel safe, why would we?

hey chat sorry for the month of inactivity. i was unmotivated to do anything with this blog

but then i looked at some of the art on here and realized that i just lost my love for the character designs. so you know how we're gonna fix that? we're redesigning some characters bayybeeee 😈

starting with the man the myth the legend, here is UNPLEZZIE 2.0

he's probably the only one i had genuine problems with other than not being very aesthetically pleasing. he seemed too boring, his proportions were always a bit wonky, and the way he became more and more simple the more i drew him dumbed him down to just...awkward.

for this redesign, i kept all the features that made him my unpleasant. the only really signature thing i changed was his hair, sorry not sorry he had to fire his barber. i changed his scars to be far less opaque as to not clutter him up (which was the main reason i left them out most of the time), the only drawback is that i'm no longer just scribbling them in with a brush, they're actual geometry, so i cut back on the arms just for my own sake. also his tail now looks (and acts) like an actual docked tail.

creepy was probably my least favorite character to draw. its head shape with the hair that always ends off screen, the 4 arms, the lack of any real way to move visible, it has always been a mess of a character. don't get me wrong, creepy is my second favorite character to write for (beaten only by neuro), i love its personality and its inflection, i just never got the chance to show that because i hated drawing it so much.

so for the redesign, i've basically reimagined it. its face hair now has an actual definitive ending, it has a more unique shape, and is just much more expunged-friendly in my opinion. it looks even more like its mom now...

next is this one, i thought she was american. here's PARANORMAL 2.0

i'm gonna be totally honest i have no idea what i was doing when designing para for the first time. that outfit was 100% subconsciously stolen from some other character i can't think of right now. it also really just didn't fit her character at all. also i dont know why i gave her boobs???? what????

anyways for the redesign she's basically a whole new design now. i wanted to play with some shape language. also, para always had a sort of inhuman quality to me, despite her personality, so i've given her inverted eyes and some animalistic features. i guess it adds irony or something, i dunno.

and finally, the moment GERIATRIC CAT you've all been waiting for, UNNERVING 2.0

in truth nervy's design is my favorite. the only gripe i had is the lack of legs, like with creepy. also i had to give her one of the same pride flag ass gradient as the rest so she'd fit in with the rest. other than all that i love her she is perfect just the way she is with minor adjustments

that's all the redesigns done!! i only did these 4 because stabby is not mine to redesign and NEURO is perfect just the way it is. feel free to give me any constructive criticism for these redesigns, i can always tweak em a bit. also the more stripy gradients wont a pattern that follows the contours of the body but rather just unmoving plaid always. i hope this lengthy yap sesh contributed something to something, maybe gave some insight into my characters.

Touché- A Chlogami ficlet

So a discord server I am on is doing a fun thing with 750ish word fics for Pride Month. I figured I'd post anything I wrote here too. So without further ado.

Post Glaciator 2, things have been going better for Marinette. Chloé seems like a non issue, though she has been ‘excused’ from gym class regularly. Building up her courage, Marinette decides to attend fencing class again to get closer to Adrien. However when she arrives…

The two fencers lashed back and forth along the strip. Kagami’s bright red uniform stood out, the other fencer was dressed in a striking yellow.

The color of Adrien’s hair… Marinette sighed.

The match was intense. Kagami’s quick and controlled style versus her foe’s brute aggression. Marinette couldn’t imagine anyone else but Adrien giving Kagami such a fight, so she inched closer to the watching crowd to cheer him on silently. Other students gave her room in the semi-circle. He really is going all out… If he’s tired after, maybe I could go get him a water. Then he’d be so happy he’d ask me out. He’d propose over dinner. We’d get married and have three hamsters and a kid named Louis.

“Decided to come back?” A voice rippled on the edges of Marinette’s pink daydream.

“Yeah.” She wasn’t fully present.

“It’s good to see you here again.”

“Yeah.” She was drifting closer to the surface.

“Maybe we can practice a little when they’re done,” the voice was starting to register.

Marinette’s head craned around slowly to the person beside her. She recoiled in shock, throwing her hands up and dropping her foil. “Adrien!”

His smile was everything. He stooped to pick up her foil. “Hey Marinette.”

She lunged for it, they bumped heads and she backpedaled. Her world was reeling, “But- you- if- out there- here- who?”

“TOUCHE!” Mr. D’agincourt called, blessedly pulling attention away from Marinette.

On the strip Kagami stood over her fallen foe, with her saber’s point to her opponent’s chest. Theirs was thrust against her thigh, just shy of a legal strike. Both fencers could be heard gasping from within their helmets.

Economy of motion, Kagami withdrew her weapon and reversed its grip, offering her opposite hand to help her opponent up. The other fencer swatted the hand away, but then grabbed Kagami’s forearm and pulled themselves up with her aid.

D’Agincourt was effusive as he approached, turning to the fencer in yellow, “Splendid! Magnificent! Such progress in such a short amount of time! Control, control is the only thing you lack. You have chosen your partner well to learn that lesson.”

Kagami pulled off her helmet, sweat matted her hair but only served to enhance her austere beauty. She squared her shoulders under the instructor’s praise. Beside Marinette, Adrien noted lightly, “And I’ll end up with fewer bruises after each lesson.”

The unanswered question returned, “But if you’re here, then who-?”

The Fencer in yellow pulled off their helmet and shook out a long blonde ponytail.

“CHLOÉ?!?!!”

Annnnnnnd all eyes were on Marinette again.

Kagami smiled in greeting while the blonde demon rolled her eyes. Kagami stepped off the strip, turning the spectacle into a more private affair. She pulled off her gloves as she approached. “It is good to see you, Marinette. We have not had enough occasions to ‘hang out’ as you had suggested.”

Marinette was still stun locked. “But- you- how- her- here? SWEATING!”

Chloé smirked. “I think she’s broken.”

“Hsst!” Kagami chided, thumping her saber lightly against Chloe’s shin.

Adrien supplied, “Chloé started fencing with us a few weeks ago. Kagami brought her, and she’s really taken to it!”

Marinette’s mind was clearing, but still she was having a hard time believing. “But you hate gym class!”

Chloé chuffed, then grinned. “The games they play are ridiculous, utterly ridiculous. Stabbing people is more my style.”

To Marinette’s surprise, Kagami snorted in mirth.

Marinette looked back at her, “but… why?”

Kagami’s smile returned, triumphant. “Because, I win Marinette.”

“Win?”

Kagami’s smile broadened, with a hint of familiar smirk slipping in. “You called my manga nonsense. I wished to prove you wrong. Enemies to rivals.”

Kagami stepped sideways, hooking her arm around Chloé’s waist.

She added, “Rivals, to lovers.”

Chloé’s head snapped to the side, but there was color on her cheeks. She looked back at the group and leaned slightly into Kagami’s side.  “I have no idea what she is on about with her books, but I must say I like the outcome.”

That was too much, “You… two?!”

Chloé perked, an idea forming late. “She’s got a sword... Does this mean I can stab Marinette?”

Kagami hissed again, but squeezed the other girl, “Behave, or I shall be forced to humble you once more on the field.”

Chloé was already pulling on her helmet again. “I love it when you try.”

The 3AM Stream Incident

SOOOhbkabgsjf i haven't done something like this in a while, but I just go so inspired over in the discord @majimasleftasscheek with the streamer!kiryu idea that i had to write SOMETHING and i really loved this idea we came up with so here's SOMETHING!!! username cameos are all people from the server!!

if i had to put it somewhere, something post yakuza 3 pre yakuza 4. in order to make money for the orphanage, haruka and the kids introduced him to this streaming thing. he wanted to engage in their interests, and has always enjoyed gaming deep down, the money aspect also helps out a lot. he's formed a relatively decent sized community, but has yet to go viral. the streamers are pretty laid back and the children's identities are protected, but thanks to the younger audience of streaming in general, the chat has taken to calling him 'uncle kaz' like the kids do when they call for him off screen.

this is. short and silly and i didn't go too hard on it, but i hope it's fun!! kazumaji implied cause it will be with everything i write.

Kiryu doesn't stream off schedule, not often at least. Life gets in the way sometimes, but he's never done this before. It's quiet in the orphanage, he doesn't want to disturb the kids... but he also can't sleep. Not actually worth anything, at least. It's another all nighter, one that hopefully he can recover from while the kids are at school tomorrow. Today. If there's one thing he's thinking about this isn't the various people haunting him... It's Pocket Circuit LIVE. He figures that was something more productive to be doing than just laying here.

His steps are quiet as he makes his way into the small room that had been built in the rebuilding process of Morning Glory. This room was even in the process of being sound proofed, a gift from Daigo that was hard to refuse. With the door shut, he could be a bit more comfortable with his movements.

Hopefully, not too many people in the chatroom are up either. He thinks he remembers hearing talk about finals during these months. Still, it'd be worth going live, people liked him for his ''chill vibes'' and ''comforting streams''. There was always a twinge of a pride even he knew was a bit goofy, compared to the other things he was proud of. Perhaps he could help them sleep, much like a bed time story... But to the sound of Pocket Circuit LIVE dailies.

When Kiryu hits the 'go live' button, he skips through his starting soon screen, going straight to his face cam and gameplay set up. As the game boots up, a bit slower than usual from having to do it while he's live, the first few messages start to pop up

"Good evening, chatroom." Kiryu smiles at the messages, the exhaustion painfully clear in his eyes he's sure. "I'm surprised other people are up at this hour. I can't sleep, and I can be quiet during this game to not wake the kids. So long as I don't pull." He adds the addendum before anyone in chat could mention that.

Through his months of doing this, he's learned that many of these 'stream chatrooms' have a sort of 'culture' to them. Each streamer has a different kind of audience they cater to, but many share a back and forth dynamic with their 'chatroom'. It was more work than he had ever realized, it was an interesting new world he had begun to discover.

The motions now are practiced and fluid. Daily missions were a walk in the park. Use a new wheel, win a race without a balance frame, win a race with a golem tiger. As the races began to blend, Kiryu quietly talks with his delayed chatroom, "I don't think I'll be streaming tomorrow, I'll announce on my social media platforms in the morning if I will or won't."

Kiryu knew full well he could say 'Twitter', but people seemed to like his antiquated way of saying things as much as it grated on them. It was much like with the children in the orphanage, in that way. The chat was significantly slower, but that was nice for him. He didn't directly talked to them, more so just began saying how his day was, it had been a nice day off, he just might need another.

It was nice to see the messages of comfort in the corner of his eye, even as they began to talk amidst each other other than just with him. Of course, he quietly wished the viewers going to bed good night, which ended up being a few of them when an hour had passed. Less than 50 people were watching him at that point. There's a few points where he has to quiet down, hearing something shuffling outside of the room, and he has to make sure he didn't wake one of the children. Thankfully, no such incident happens, and he continues on with the quiet stream.

Quiet for a good while, but by hour two, something goes wrong. A name that he had expected to be gone from this stream popped up, marked with a green sword and bright pink text.

"M-Majima-!" Kiryu jumped at seeing that familiar name, the chatroom having a similar reaction. He looked to the door, knowing he was a good while away in a hotel, yes, but like he could be there at any moment. "I just couldn't sleep, so... Why am I not surprised you're up at this hour too." He truly should have expected this. "I'll only go for another hour. You should get some rest."

He looks at his quest list. Dailies are done, but weeklies are nearing completion. He could go ahead and knock those out now if he's going to take a break soon. Kiryu gets to it, settling back into the rhythm of the game he found so addicting.

With chat going so slow due to so few people, now less than 20, Kiryu didn't notice it. Pocket Circuit LIVE was too temping. He keeps good on his promise to not pull, but ten minutes have gone by without him really saying a word. He was both too tired and too engrossed in the menial yet fun activities of his favorite pass time.

The questions as to what he had meant didn't go unanswered for long. Kiryu looked over at the chatroom, finally seeing the sudden activity, "Chatroom, did something-" And is cut off by the door to his room swinging open. It just barely is held back from slamming by a tired, haggard, and ticked off looking Majima. He blinks in surprise at his sudden appearance, standing up and taking the same headphones the man had gifted him off his head, "Majima? What are you-"

The next moment, Majima is charging him.

Kiryu barely manages to understand whats happening in the mere second he's given before Majima's long legs get him across the room. He's still taken to the ground in the next second, but he knows not to start fighting back by then. All the camera sees in a yellow and black blur, and then Kiryu going out of frame.
