A little headcannon of mine

So does any one else ship Sasuke and Sakura just so Sarada can be born?I’m mean,congrats if you can ship them together because your doing something I can’t do!And if any of you don’t know thing about Naruto,Naruto Shippuden,or Boruto or their cannon pairings,I’ll give you a quick review of the SasuSaku ship.

-They’ve known each other since childhood but Sasuke was mostly aloof towards those around him(since his entire clan was murdered by his older brother,leaving them as the last Uchihas,and even in another cannon alternate universe where his clan is still alive he’s still outcasts himself from others because he in every world outclasses those around him,except Naruto who grows stronger everyday)

-Sakura was simply a extremely obsessive fangirl,cutting herself off from her best friend since they had the same crush,eventually hating her and the same goes for her ex-friend,and was the weakest member of Team 7(Her,Sasuke,and Naruto) for the longest time causing Sasuke,Kakashi-Sensei(their teacher),and Naruto have to protect her for a while[But she does get stronger with like 2 or 3 arcs,though Sasuke and Naruto get like 5 or more(per series and/or seasons) so that kinda sucks for her

-Before and after they are put in the same team,Sakura is repeatedly rude and unkind towards Naruto,who was also an outcast and an orphan,like Sasuke,so they had that bond and when Sakura whined about it to Sasuke ,about Naruto, that’s a no-no for Sasuk and defends Naruto and distances himself from Sakura even more since she pissed him off

-Sakura still loves Sasuke in a less obsessive way when he leaves the village but later on she convices herself that she loves NARUTO instead(and he has a thing for Hinata but he doesn’t realize it till she’s kidnapped later in the series)and Naruto is like “Sakura are u cray cray?(Oh remember when that was a thing) you have loved Sasuke and only Sasuke for like 10 years, ignoring Rock Lee and I’s advances, for the past 3 years and I’m over U so Why u always lying MMMhhhhmmmh Oh my god stop freaking lying….I know you care for Sasuke and so do I(No homo) but don’t deny it(Heavan knows Naruto doesn’t)”

-SAKURA WHY’D YOU KNOCK OUT UR TEAM UR GONNA DIE IT DON’T MATTER IF I LOVE SASGAY OR NOT HE’S STILL GONNA KILL YOU CAUSE HE WANTS TO DESTROY EVERY TYPE OF BOND HE’S HAD WITH THOSE STILL LIVING(aka you,his big brother Itachi,Naruto and Kakashi)SO WHY U GOTTA BE SO IGNORANT OF REALITY LADY LIKE REALLY UR TEACH HASN’T DONE THAT TO OCHIMARU SINCE SHE WAS IN A SIMILAR SITUATION AS U(I believe don’t quote me on it)SO GET OVER UR OBSESSIVE CRUSH

-Sakura.jpg is buffering but Kakashi comes in just in time to save her from Sasukethegiverofnodamns.jpg

-At the NS of the series,Sasuke returns to the village but ends up leaving again and traveling for most of his life since his presence there endangers the village itself,but before he leaves he tells Sakura that when he gets back they’ll go on a trip together

-Sakura.jpg circuits are fried from happiness cause Sasukethegiverofnodamns.jpg is giving her a damn

-My child,SaradaDaSalad.jpg,comes into the picture

-Sasuke doesn’t come home once to see his daughter,causing her to get an arc about wondering if her mom(Sakura) isn’t her birth mom and looking for him and another girl who was also an obsessive fan of Sasuke’s since she has almost no resemblance to Sakura and more to the fangirl

-When Sasuke sees his daughter for the first time,he wants to kill her because he thinks she’s an enemy(which if you knew the plot of this arc then it would make more sense) but she runs up crying to him,calling him Daddy,and activating her Sharingan(which can only be actived when an Uchiha feels great pain,sorrow,exicetment,or in some cases,like this one,happiness)

-Sasuke returns to the village for a single day to see his daughter and Sakura

This is some pairing huh?Like I said,I don’t ship it and would rather her marry Rock Lee(but that’s a pretty weird pairing it self)But the reason I’ve made this post is to talk about a headcannon of mine that is about the Naruto series,mostly Sakura and Sarada,and The School for Good and Evil series. Since the SGE series has alot of fans that maybe reading the books,I won’t spoil the main plot,but I’ll compare the Uchiha’s(Sakura and Sarada) relationship to the relationship between one of the characters and their mother in SGE.

Basically,this SGE’s character’s mother ran away from her job since her boss wanted her for only power and escaped to a place where he couldn’t get to her.This character was looking for true love but couldn’t because of her status…Later on she made a deal with another character who was obsessed over a boy in town that didn’t like her that way and she caused the boy to be in love with her for a single,drunk night…The two got married because a law in their village basically stated,“You impregnate them,you marry them” but they keep on having stilborns making the lady black mail our character into making her a ‘perfect’ child,which she did but the lady ended up having twins,one kind and good while the other vain,the nice one was ugly though and the beautiful one was vain.The lady took the pretty one home with her and basically threw the other in the garbage,but our character ended up keeping her and raising her as her own,and in the end,she did find true love,just not in the way she thought she would(no incest,it’s like Frozen ppl)

I imagine Sakura and Sarada’s life to be similar to that story….Sakura cared for Sasuke for the longest time but they aren’t very close,even though they’re married and have had a child together,but Sarada is who Sakura truely loves(no incest,again)because Sarada eventually learns that her bond with her mother is so strong that her being or not being her birth mom matters,which is what Sakura already knew and Sarada becomes Sakura’s top priority,believing in her and sticking by her side

Hehe,maybe because I'm on the other side of the wall...And I was online in the fandom eons ago. In forums, SNS was extremely aggressive to other shippers. Made me stop using the forum altogether. NH was a small slice of it but present nonetheless and peaceful back then. SS got the most flack. Now I see SNS attacking SS just as much. And just general SS antis. The way folks are always complaining about the endgame pairings (and shippers)all the time gets old, repetitive &often disrespectful.

And by this I mean : okay, you have your opinions on why the ending sucks and why the pairing are horrible. Other people have their opinions. They may like the ending, or the Canon ships, or may not enjoy how the ending was executed but still like the ships. I don’t think anyone is going to change another person by talking ad nauseum about why they think that ship is shit. And the shipper isn’t necessarily an (insert the usual insult) for seeing things differently. We are all different. :)

Oh, I totally didn’t mean to offend you, and sorry if I did… I was talking about pros and antis as a whole, not only Naruto/couples. It’s just that I got carried away afterwards, haha… Sorry, again ^^”

You see, SS and NH send quite a bad message by how it was treated in canon manga, so we’re pointing that out. Of course you may not agree with that, but I think it’s ok as long as nobody sends hate, crosstags and etc. Personally, I always did and always will say that NH is worse than SS, at least they interacted and knew each other + NH and Hinata send a horrible message to women, imo. So, I don’t understand why SS gets more hate than NH. Oh, actually I do. Guess why? SAKURA IS IN IT. 

Back in about 5-7 years, honestly, I don’t even remember anything besides for Sakura hate since it has always been one of the biggest parts of the fandom, and I believe NH wasn’t that agressive tho, since they didn’t have that many moments, SS was the biggest fandom, even bigger than SNS maybe? Naruto fandom was always terrible, so no surprises SNS fans did attack others often. I’m talking about what happens now, though. The situation’s a little different since now we have canon couples, but people still attack pacifist shippers and editors, and it’s disgusting. I don’t really care which fandom they’re from, and I actually have some friends among pro ending/pro SasuSaku fans that don’t force their ship on me and vice versa. We all are editors tho, so we totally understand that editing is for fun and all of us at least once worked with our nOTP… I don’t see any problems there, so I personally find those who can’t create anything else but their precious OTP stuff very strange and narrow-minded, tbh… Seems like that person from comment section either never saw the “SasuSaku-almost-kiss” (where Naruto’s transformed into Sasuke) or any created scenes with help of masking and manipulations used in SasuSaku AMVs or being a hypocrite :\

As much as I agree with you, I still find some things in Naruto too wrong to accept. But then again, I should mention that after the ending I realised that Naruto wasn’t that good to begin with, but this is a whole other story… To be short - I believe Kishimoto didn’t care that much about the pairings and simply chose the most popular ones for the next gen, as they didn’t influence much the main theme in the series (with or without them, the result won’t change), but he ignored everything else which makes me question his professionalism as a writer. So, if I bash pairings, I bash Naruto. If I bash Naruto, I bash Kishimoto’s and his supporters’ views, as simple as that. Shippers that just simply ship their OTP, make amazing fanmade stuff, participate in fandom activity, etc… I don’t have anything against them. I hope I’m clear now c: Thanks for your input!
