1. Olé, Jetzt Kommt Der BVB - Pur Harmony cover

My favourite BVB theme song. It is uplifting and easy to follow because I know the song before I heard this version. I actually like this more than the original song (Pet Shop Boys - Go West). Hehe...

2. You’ll Never Walk Alone - Pur Harmony cover

The best football hymn ever existed and it was not even written for football. For a football club with lots of love and heart, this song fits perfectly with the club’s image. Pur Harmony’s version is my favourite YNWA version as the background vocals brings a lot of team spirit and the tempo is faster than the original. I also have a long history with this song. 3. Aubameyang - Ghost St. feat. Soolking & Djam Chow, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang,  Marco Reus  

Ahh... Auba’s song. Everyone’s guilty pleasure song. And it is a good one.  However ‘Versace Versace Versace’ stuck in my head apart from the word Aubame. Ghost St probably trying to imply that Auba is as worthy as Versace??? Idk.

4.  Best Day Of My Life -  American Authors

This song is talking about having big dreams, not giving up and achieving it in the end. A perfect victory song for BVB. 

5. Crazy Dreams - Carrie Underwood

BVB produces many young guns with promising talents and with the guidance of amazing coaches, crazy dreams are able to achieve.

6. Yellow - Coldplay

Yellow. The colour of BVB and they shine like the stars. Nuff said.

7. Black And Yellow - Wiz Khalifa

SchwarzUndGelben. Need to say more? (It also matches the hip hop style of this young team? Lol.)

8.  Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You) -  Kelly Clarkson

This song kind of has a literal meaning after the Dortmund bus incident. The team became stronger after surviving from a fatal incident. Also, a fun fact: ‘What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger’ is the message that Łukasz Piszczek chose to wear on the collar of his jersey for the Bremen match.

9.  Fight Song -  Rachel Platten

I call this the Marc Bartra song because he’s been such a fighter during his recovery after the Dortmund bus incident. ‘Now I've still got a lot of fight left in me’ struck me the most.

10. The Fighter - Gym Class Heroes ft. Ryan Tedder

The Marco song because he gives his all to the team and he is a true fighter. Every time he gets injured, he comes back with a bang.

11.  Titanium - David Guetta ft. Sia

The Mario song. He is probably the most criticised player due to his World Cup goal. This song is partly inspired by the video, Portrait of a Fighter.

12.  Superheroes - The Script

This is obviously inspired by Auba and Marco’s love of costume celebration. They are also pretty much the superheroes of the team. 

13. Here Comes The Sun - The Beatles

Again, the yellow theme is here. Sun is yellow and so is BVB. The smile of the players is like little suns that shine when they perform on the pitch.

14. It's My Life - Bon Jovi 

This song has a very yolo vibe and it fits perfectly with this young team. Lol.

15.  Never Say Never - Justin Bieber ft. Jaden Smith

This song is about dark horses which fit the team perfectly. BVB is not the biggest team in Europe but they proved to the world that smaller teams could do it too.This song is also in another (player) playlist that I will make in the future.

16.  Breakaway - Kelly Clarkson

Another song about young people that dare to dream and make risks. It fits perfectly with the youngsters of BVB.
