Happy birthday to me, happy birthday to me 🥳🎉 That's right, I'm celebrating another year in this cradle of life we call the Earth. Actually, it's almost midnight⏰, so by the time I finish this post, it'll probably all be over, but I'm gonna talk about it anyway. I had a great day hanging with friends👭, drinking🍾, munching cake🎂, etc, but come evening, I got to thinking how time flies. In another 2 years I'm going to be 30, which is super scary. It seems like only yesterday I was a freshman in high school🎒. All in all my life now is way better than it was then, but a part of me would still like to go back. It was sooo nice not having to worry about grown up stuff. Anyway, enough about that... this is supposed to be a cosplay post, so I should say something about the pic📷. As you can see, it's me as Typhoid Mary again. This time I was imagining I was mid fight🥊, ready to land a kick on someone. I'm not tough at all IRL, but I think I'm managing to look it here. What I didn't realize was that I had a ladder in my tights. That's never a good thing, though I guess it works for the character. As I've said before, I do 💜 this costume and hope y'all do too. Happy Sunday 🤗 Hope y'all had a great weekend. I spent a lot of mine working on some new poems. It's a while since I've done that, but I've been reading a collection of female poetry lately called SHE IS FIERCE and it's totally got my creative juices flowing ✍ I don't know if any of these new efforts will make it into print, but I'm having fun writing them 😊😊😊 Anyways, I'm taking a break now for another cosplay post, and as you can see, it's a Supergirl one🦸🏼‍♀️ I kind of had a story going on in my head for my latest Supergirl shoot which involved Supergirl being defeated and then managing to turn things around, and most of the pics fit with this, but this one's just a random pose. I'm thinking it's Supergirl taking a time out after some hard heroics and getting all thoughtful, but it's open to other interpretations. If you're wondering what's different about the costume, it's the stockings. They're better quality than the one's I had before and have a glossy look that's more in keeping with traditional superhero costumes. It's only a small change, but I think it makes a big difference. Next up, I'm going to post a Catwoman shot and then a Rei Miyamoto one for 👻Halloween👻, so keep watching this space 👀
