Wynn gave herself a final approving look in the mirror before heading downstairs to join her party guests. Everyone was already there, waiting for the Birthday Girl so they could begin lunch.

The entire menu had been strawberry-flavored, as per her request: strawberry cake, strawberry booze, and even a strawberry feta salad which the guests were now happily gobbling down on. Strangers, Wynn thought with disappointment as she looked across the table, donning a fake smile. Dad's 'no boys' rule had put a big dent in her party plans, but he'd refused to budge on it.

Lunch was followed by gift-opening. She finally got the designer handbag she'd wanted so much, a new makeup palette, a pretty necklace... Even though each gift had a name on it (and one had come anonymously in the mail), she suspected they had all been by her dad. Even if Adam denied it.

As the evening progressed, it was clear that they were looking at a repeat of the lousy party from last time. The guests were stiff and awkward, refusing to interact unless interacted with. Even Beatrice was still giving her the silent treatment, for Watcher's sake!

Blowing out the candles on her cake, Winona was suddenly hit by the realization that nobody was having a good time at this darn party, herself included. It was supposed to be her perfect day, how had it all gone so wrong? Angry tears began streaming down her cheeks. She'd had enough of this farce.

Winona: "All right, party's over. Everybody, OUT!!!"

1) Dream of 27/4/21

Featured Characters: Cure Grace, Cure Summer (Pretty Cure), Chicken Little’s dad (the Disney movie Chicken Little), Lunette Agnarsson (Original Character), Masa Shimamoto (Meta Runner), Pelly, Phyllis, Copper, Booker, Blathers (Animal Crossing).

Parts: 2. __________________________________-

Part 1 (The Gaming Setup) -- Cures Grace and Summer lived with unknown parents in a house, and they were sisters. Cure Summer wanted a gaming setup, but the father of this house didn't have Dad Building Skills, so Cure Grace called Chicken Little’s dad, who did know how to build stuff.

He came over and built a cool desk thing in the garden where there was space, but he knew nothing about the gaming part! So he called Lunette, who was in the supermarket.

Because Lunette is tall af, she saw Masa in the next aisle and was like “yep, that’s your tech guy.” She waved at him, which annoyed him because he is Edgy and Lunette is Loud and Annoying.

Now Lunette (wearing a high vis jacket and sunglasses over her glasses) and Masa were in the garden and Masa built the computers and shit. Lunette did nothing except play the role of director.

The girls had their gaming setup now, and everybody liked that.

Part 2 (Animal Crossing Secrets) -- In this dream, the bedrooms of the Pelican sisters were revealed. They shared a living space, but their rooms were divided into different parts of the space and they both had unique themes. The furniture inside their rooms was rare and only obtainable by a gacha system.

Then Blathers and his museum were seen. I do not remember what the dogs did. I just know they were there. ___________________________________________END

2) Dream of 16/5/22

Featured Characters: Laurent (Fire Emblem), Steve, Alex (Minecraft), Me, Duchess (my dog), Original Dream Character.

Parts: 1. __________________________________ Panda Girl Protection Team -- There was an evil organisation with 12 devastatingly powerful team members and a boss. They were all aware of a 13th, greater power and they wanted to use her. Their only problem? This girl is a pacifist, and she has a protection squad. She has brown hair and a panda themed bag so I’ll call her panda girl.

The protection squad have a big mission tomorrow, so they sleep on their weird ass triple bunk bed/wardrobe thing. The Minecraft folk have the middle bunk. And me, Duchess and Laurent (omg! fan moment right there!) have to share the top bunk. It’s cramped but Duchess is warm and cuddly.

Morning comes and we have to wear disguises to do some power testing stuff with the pacifist panda girl. I wanna wear cute clothes. Laurent says no. We have to wear blue mormon clothes. Meanwhile Duchess wiggles.

We do some stuff with the girl and then the dream ends. Duchess loves everyone!!! ___________________________________________END

3) Dream of 20/10/22

Featured Characters: Steve (Minecraft), Wallace (Wallace and Gromit, Serena, Calem, Professor Sycamore, Diantha, Guzma (Pokemon).

Parts: 2 ___________

Part 1 (The weird Roblox game) -- This dream was set in some sort of Roblox game where you kill other players by jumping on them, and you grow in size the more you kill. Also if you kill someone large you grow a lot, but if you get jumped on, you lose all your progress and you have to start again.

The main player base was young mean girls with their Pinterest aesthetic avatars. A toxic playerbase indeed. 

Wallace joined and after a few failed attempts, he got quite good. Like, top 3 good. The nice people of the server rejoiced, but the toxic players did not like that. So they lured him to a shed and put superglue on his neck. For some reason this killed him.

Also there was parkour high in the sky and Steve died after falling from a high place.

Part 2 (The S-Tier Open World Pokemon Game) -- Now this dream is the reason I’m making this post in the first place~

Anyway. As the title says, this was the best open world Pokemon game EVER! Basically, you had 2 characters that you could switch out at any time (each with their own pokemon), and you controlled a primary character while the secondary one followed, and you could switch their roles at any time.

At the start of the game, you got to choose your first primary character (the first secondary one would be chosen as you played the game and found character changing areas). The choices were all the game protagonists. I don’t recall who I picked, but it seems my cursed blorbo Calem was the lead, so uhh. yeah.

Anyway, once that was done, you basically had free exploration across the entire world of pokemon, as well as game-exclusive locations. The starting island was a new minor region, with “more flowers and colours than any of the other regions”. Swimming, climbing, fighting: just any and all world interaction was possible here. 

So we (I was playing the game), ended up swimming to Sinnoh, which had an exclusive little Alola hangout and a Hisui town replica. Here, Guzma was added to the team. But then I saw a secret character exclusively accessible from the Hisui replica, so I temporarily made him my main to..  beat people up. That was a thing you could do in this game. And also Fire Emblem Fate’s silly armour break thing happened when you did a lot of damage. Nothing nasty or illegal because it was pokemon and I sure as hell do not want to see that in my game or dream. It was more like an outfit alteration thing, where they would lose something, but then when their current outfit was damaged enough, they would magically wear a new one. That was one way to change the appearances of everyone.

Guzma wore the Hisui survey corps uniform for a bit, before being shuffled back to his original swag attire. Then he went to a chicken shop.

The aforementioned character changing areas were mostly found on bridges, and they had pictures of the four possible characters you could switch to there. From the Alola/Hisui area, I switched back to the blorbo, while also switching my secondary to Serena. 

Another thing about the outfit rotation/breaking thing was that different outfits appeared depending on who induced the change. So the Hisui exlusive guy made playable characters wear clothes from Legends: Arceus, while Guzma would make characters wear punk attire (why it wasn’t street swag was beyond me).

Uhh the Kalos duo then swam to Diantha’s wine factory, where Calem stole Professor Sycamore’s prized wine and then they swam to Lumiose City which looked SWAG in the dream. Everywhere looked like it had perfect GTA level of detail! 

I did some more outfit shuffling and some exploring (admiring the graphics and imagining how cool the other regions would look). Serena had lovely chic outfits while Calem mostly had shitty loungewear. BRUH. Then angry Diantha and Sycamore came and they wanted the wine back. Serena minded her own business while I had to make Calem outrun the police. He became an outlaw lmao.

Anyway that dream was so good I didn't want to wake up, but I did wonder: where were the Pokemon? I’m sure if this were a real game, they would be very useful in exploring and battling. And I would LOVE to visit Hoenn and explore as Steven and Wallace :)) As Champion/Gym Leader, their battles and encounters would be very interesting.

With a scowl, Winona watched the last party guests stumble through the door. She couldn't wait to be rid of them all so she could erase this disastrous evening from her memory. Adam and Beatrice followed suit and scuttled off to bed, unable to look her in the eye.

But not all was lost. As if knowing that she'd need a pick-me-up, Winona had secretly sent a letter to Marcus that morning inviting him to join her at Gatehouse Inn. Adam told her she couldn't have boys over for her party, but he never said anything about inviting them out to dinner, right?

Walking the short distance to the Inn, Winona could kiss herself for her foresight. A date with Marcus might just be the only thing capable of salvaging her day! Her lips curved into a smile (perhaps the only genuine one that day) when she saw him waiting for her by the inn's entrance. Oh, Marcus; always so dependable!

Later that night, as the landlady was making her evening rounds, she spotted a young man dropping off a flower bouquet at the Tanners' doorstep. By the looks of it, he was pretty smitten.

Both Adam and Winona rolled wants about throwing a party, and with little else to do...

The invitation had been open to anyone who knew the Tanners. In the absence of close friends and family, it had been neighbors and acquaintances who answered the call. Turns out, that's what doomed the evening from the start.

Strangers were milling about their livingroom, trying to make small talk that fizzled out before it even began. No one seemed to know what to do, or why they were even there in the first place. Adam's 'party tricks' did little to alleviate the awkwardness (if anything, they only made things worse).

The food was the rare highlight of the evening: Adam's new salmon canapés were a hit with the guests! It was only thanks to the catering (and the generous amounts of booze) that the party wasn't deemed a complete flop.

Whatever. Adam decided he'd still count it as a success!

Rosalind ended her date with Folke on a high note. He practically begged to see her again, but she could barely wait to be rid of the man. Her mind and heart were now completely overtaken by the sneaky, world-shattering kiss and its pink-wearing perpetrator. And by how badly she wanted to rip all that pink right off of her.

Selina stood on the sidelines, listening to her mistress shoo her date out with excuses about 'needing to be elsewhere'; she turned away from the man and, passing Selina, gave her a subtle yet poignant hint to follow after her. The urgency in the gesture couldn't be ignored.

Selina followed the redhead as if walking through a dream. Her already racing heart began hammering even harder against her chest when she realized where they were headed; she'd been with the Gladwyns long enough to know what being led into the luxury bathroom with the notorious thermal tub meant. In an instant of brief clarity, Selina could see the future: hot water, steam, bubbles and sparks; a catharsis, and the inevitable heartbreak that would follow.

She welcomed it all.

It was a beautiful sunny afternoon when Feanor headed out for his routine city stroll.

Aware of the importance of maintaining a good reputation with the people, he'd made a habit out of periodically taking to the Bay's streets, striking up casual conversations with artisans and commoners alike. It was his way of endearing himself to his citizens, who, in turn, were always excited to catch a glimpse of their prince outside the castle walls. Sometimes Aruena would join him, too.

He was all by himself today, though, which worked to his advantage. For today's city stroll was more than a mere popularity stunt: it held the promise of romance. Things between him and Roland had been getting pretty heated lately, and Feanor hoped that they could take it to the next level. He promised himself that he'd take immediate action if he ran into Roland in town today.

But Roland wasn't at Whitestone Gardens. Somewhat disappointed by his absence, Feanor still made sure to mingle with the present townsfolk, even giving them a free-of-charge music show. Inspired by his performance, the spectators also wanted to give it a try; Feanor gracefully gave them the floor and headed to the next community lot.

To add insult to injury, Annika Blackbird showed up at the Smithy the very next day. For a petite girl, she really had a way of filling a room, and her Big Presence made Tom realize two things: for one, she truly was a beautiful young lady, growing prettier by the day; but also, she was a child half his age, and the odd sense of loss he felt after learning that she was spoken for was both highly misplaced and inappropriate.

That evening, Tom took a long, hard look at himself in the mirror. "What is wrong with you?" - he chided his own reflection, but he already knew the answer. It wasn’t that he was longing for Annika’s company, per se; he was longing for company, period. Company that he hasn’t been able to find in years. And he wasn’t getting any younger...

Things couldn't go on like this. Something in his life needed to change.

Day breaks and the Smithy is all set and ready to open its doors to paying customers!

The boys are hard at work stocking shelves and servicing patrons, which results in a silver Stocking talent badge for Roland and a rise in rank for the Smithy!

Back to the present, where Rosalind continues to effortlessly woo her new beau. However, the blonde wasn't the only one who got tangled up in her web of charms.

Out of nowhere, Selina waltzed into the room with yet another 'First Kiss' in her queue. And unlike all the other times, this time she was determined to get what she came for. Seizing the brief moment where Rosalind had broken away from her new lover, Selina finally succeeded in stealing that long-coveted First Kiss from her mistress. And right in front of her unsuspecting date, too! Epic Boss move! 😂

But the kiss, however beautiful, was a bittersweet affair. Much to Selina's disappointment, Rosalind turned her attention back to the dull man. It stung, but rather than cooling off, the young maid ironically felt herself being drawn to her mistress even more. And she was certain Rosalind felt the same way; or at the very least, wasn't as indifferent as she feigned to be.

This affair wasn't over yet, not by a long shot.

With most of her life occurring indoors and her paramour having turned all his attention to their young son, Rosalind was starting to feel a bit emotionally neglected. But the playing field was wide and there were always other options to explore.

Local man-about-town Folke Agnarsson was one such option. He was amiable, uncomplicated, and known to never turn down a pretty lady - in other words, an excellent choice for a bit of no-strings-attached fun.

But before I show you how their romance fared, let me first tell you about a certain situation that's been going on in this household for a while… (more info in the next post!)

Roland was determined not to let the bad dining experience ruin his night. A small group of locals was gathered at the poker table, their chatter and rowdy laughter beckoning him to join in the fun.

He knew the two guys sat at the table by sight from the Smithy, but hadn't really spoken with either aside from some salesman-customer small talk. He approached and asked if he could join. They nodded and motioned for him to take one of the free seats, happy to have a third player at the table.

The night went by in a relaxed atmosphere. Much to his satisfaction, Roland found that Folke and Charlie were good company, and that their poker skills were far inferior to his own. Folke kept babbling on about 'the best pie he's ever had' which some guy at the Sunday Market had sold him, seemingly unaware of the fact that he was losing the match - and his money. By the end of the night, Roland had §110 safely pocketed away under his cloak.

 Making new friends and money. The night turned around after all!

Ending the Gladwyn rotation with a pregnancy scare has become the new norm 'round here. 🤣 Their third week may have had 'only' 33 photosets (compared to last round's 41), but I'll still have to split the recap into subsections. This family, I swear…

NOOBOO NEWS:

Proud parents Rosalind and Feanor welcomed a new nooboo into the world! We're happy to have you, Arwan Moonfeather! 👶🏻

BIRTHDAYS:

Arwan grew up from a baby to a toddler! Rosalind threw him a lavish birthday party to celebrate the occasion.

OTHER:

Having a lively toddler in the house naturally gave rise to the need for a governess. After a long interviewing process and consultations with the Queen, Rosalind hired townie Tabitha Dawson as Arwan's live-in nanny. New playable - unlocked! 💪🏻

SKILLS:

Arwan learned to go potty from nanny Tabitha, learned to speak from dada Feanor, and earned a few creativity skill points from various toys. How dextrous!

FRIENDSHIPS:

Rosalind made fast (best) friends with Tabitha Dawson!

Phillip and Selina didn't make any new friends and didn't really hang out with each other that much, either. Helping with the little one was everyone's priority this round!

Arwan: made best friends with dada Feanor!

ROMANCE:

Rosalind: dedicated surprisingly little time to hoeing this round (it kinda be that way with a nooboo in the house). Still, she found enough time for the occasional coupling with baby daddy Feanor, and by the end of the round, succeeded in seducing two new 'victims': local himbo Folke Agnarsson (dream date✔ makeout✔ love✔), and - Selina! (makeout✔ love✔ woohoo✔). All in a day's work for the red-haired seductress!

Phillip: moved to fourth base with girlfriend Annika, providing us with the aforementioned pregnancy scare.

Selina: Finally said 'screw it' and ended up in a steamy hottub session with the mistress. She had her first kiss, first makeout, AND first woohoo with Rosalind!

Tabitha: no romance. Was just happy to be there.

TAXES:

Having experienced an increase in taxes for rich households, the Gladwyns ended up paying a whopping §10,000 this week!

And while Adam is embarrassing himself by performing freestyle for tips and Winona is pestering the sales boys, let’s take a look around the market for another edition of Neighbor Watch! 👀

Ruben came walking by and noticed Ginevra and Folke standing by the liquor stand. He swooned at the former and cheerily greeted the latter, and while I can't really remember if the two guys have ever interacted while all townies were living together on the test lot, somehow I'm unsurprised that they seem to be buddies. My liberal interpretation of their friendship? They're probably at the tavern every other night getting absolutely smashed together.

Back to our playables, and we see Adam gulping down a meat pie (which he probably didn't pay for) and Winona aiming her best fake smile at him in an attempt to get him to get a move on already. I could practically hear her whining "Daddy, are we leaving yeeet?" through my screen. 😂

The pie sale was such an unexpectedly huge success that I decided the Tanners get a 'whatever, do what you want' free pass for the remainder of their market visit. I mean, they already got a top-tier salary out of it, what else was there to do for them?

Adam rolled a wish to perform freestyle for tips which was promptly granted (no skin off my back if u wanna embarrass yourself, dude), while Winona wandered off to mingle with the locals. She got a very pompous greeting from the poor sod her daddy sold his scammer's pie to, which she found rather amusing. Did he think she was a princess from a faraway land, to greet her with a bow? If he did, Winona saw no issue with letting him live in the conviction. Heck, she even threw in some of her famous ‘royal’ attitude to complete the picture!

Lady Ginevra, who'd taken an instant dislike to the odd father-daughter pairing, had removed herself from their overbearing presence and was now at the liquor stand, tasting the free wine samples that she, as a noble, was naturally granted. But escaping the Tanners proved tougher than anticipated - it wasn't long before Winona, too, was at the liquor stand. She was underage and could therefore neither buy nor get samples, but that didn't stop her from interrogating sales boy Steven Minton about every small detail regarding his wares. His 'enthusiasm' with the whole exchange could be read clear as day on his face. 😂
