Some unusual jewelry I made recently. First up is a silver ring work in progress and the second is a cursed looking bolo tie. It’s fold formed copper and it looks very strange.

the first thing is just an object, a decoration, little big to wear but would be cool on a shelf. $20 as is, $30 for a chain for hanging, $40 for a macrame cord for hanging or wearing.

next is a simple bracelet that can be bent to fitw most wrists. i will file the ends down a bit. $30

Copper is the perfect metal for fall (or year round) and to ensure these earrings are suitable for just about anyone I made the earring hooks from sterling silver wire. The leaves were created with fold form technique and I wirewrapped warm, earthy jasper stone beads above. They measure 2 inches long from top of earring hook to bottom point on the leaf and they're 1/2 an inch wide. Boucles d’oreille feuilles en cuivre avec des perles en onyx agate. Petite légende : Une reine bien que puissante savait rester simple. Elle avait la curieuse habitude de ne porter que ces boucles d’oreille. Pourtant elle avait une multitude de bijoux très diversifiés qu’elle refusait toujours de porter et ce en toutes occasions. Elle ne s’en séparait jamais et la provenance de ce bijou reste une énigme. Son secret fut transmis à sa descendance en jurant de ne jamais en divulguer sa teneur.

Who knew that metal could look like fabric, this particular ring is an example of foldforming where the metal is repeatedly folded hammered and opened up to create some very interesting lines. I was going to oxidise the ring as is my habit 😊but then I just wanted to show off the natural beauty of copper in this ring.
