------------ FLESVAZEN van Foekje Fleur.

Gepigmenteerd vloeibaar porselein wordt in de mallen gegoten, waardoor een laag overblijft die de vorm vormt. Na het drogen wordt de binnenkant van de fles loodvrij geglazuurd en op 1300 C gebakken. Al dit handwerk wordt gedaan door ambachtslieden, dus geen van de flessen is precies hetzelfde.

Stylingtip: Mooi om meerdere flessen te combineren met kleurrijke bloemen erin!

------------ BOTTLE VASES by Foekje Fleur.

Pigmented liquid porcelain is poured into the molds, leaving a layer that forms the shape. After drying, the inside of the bottle is glazed lead-free and baked at 1300 C. All this handicraft is done by artisans, so none of the bottles are exactly the same.

Deze mooie porseleinen Bottle-vazen zijn geïnspireerd op een verzameling plastic afval uit de Maas in Rotterdam, Nederland. Nadat zij over plastic soep had gelezen, begon ontwerpster Foekje Fleur zorgvuldiger te kijken naar de rivier en vond ze plastic afval dat zich daar sinds de jaren zestig had opgehoopt. Door duurzame porselein kopieën te maken van het materiaal dat ze vindt, probeert Foekje Fleur het bewustzijn van dit groeiende probleem te verspreiden.
