BOTTLE VAAS DD

Een bijzonder design; Fles-Vaas. Simpele massa geproduceerde groene glazen flessen krijgen ieder een andere bijzonder vorm wanneer designer Klaas Kuiken ermee aan de slag gaat. Hij blaast ze stuk voor stuk tot unieke objecten. Door het opblazen van de flessen bolt het glas meer uit op plekken waar de wanddikte dun is en minder waar het dikker is. Alle Bottles zijn uniek. Ze zijn handgeblazen, elke is anders van vorm. Prachtig object voor in je interieur. Solo of met een bijzondere bloem erin!

A special design. Simple mass-produced green glass bottles each get a different special shape when designer Klaas Kuiken gets to work with them. He blows them one by one into unique objects. By blowing up the bottles, the glass bulges more in places where the wall thickness is thin and less where it is thicker. All Bottles are unique. They are hand-blown, each one is different in shape. Er is er maar 1 van gemaakt! Een combinatie van fotografie en zeefdruk op glas. Verschillende lagen gekleurd glas met verschillende afbeeldingen worden op elkaar geplaats en in de oven samen gesmolten. Een bijzonder en precies proces! Zo onstaat er een prachtige diepte werking en gelaagdheid in dit kunstwerk. De kunstenares Marieke Peters zoekt in haar werk naar een punt van rust. Een moment na chaos of een moment in complete stilte waarin een verhaal kan ontstaan.
