Introducing, The YH-5000SE Headphones and HA-L7A Amplifier from Yamaha, Now on Demo!
Tumblr media
Hi Everyone,
It is no secret that we love our headphones here at HiFi Lounge. With our ever-growing selection, we are thrilled to announce that we now have the much anticipated Yamaha YH-5000SE headphones and HA-L7A amplifier to match available for demo!
When Yamaha introduced their new flagship design, we were initially uncertain about bringing another high-end option into our collection. With an already fantastic lineup featuring brands like Focal, Audeze, Meze, and Stax we wondered how these new headphones would stack up. But after spending some time with Yamaha’s Latest pairing we had to have them!
The Yamaha YH-5000SE headphones deliver an exceptional sound experience and are surprisingly easy to drive, making them a versatile choice for any setup. Immediately I found them to be well balanced with crisp highs, a rich and detailed midrange, and deep articulate bass straight out of the box. The midrange in particular stands out with its clarity and the soundstage is impressively wide with pin-point imaging, providing a speaker-like experience that’s both captivating and immersive. It will be really interesting to see how they open up over time but initial impressions are promising.
While the YH-5000SE can pair with various amplifiers, the HA-L7A is a standout match designed specifically for these headphones. The HA-L7A is built like a tank and brings out the best in the YH-5000SE with incredible precision and depth. This amp doesn’t just drive the headphones it elevates their performance, making every detail in the music clearer and more engaging. The synergy between the HA-L7A and the YH-5000SE doesn’t just let you hear the music but feel it.
At HiFi Lounge we’re excited to offer a diverse range of headphones including these fantastic new arrivals. If you’d like to arrange a demo to compare various models or find out more please don’t hesitate to get in touch. Follow the link for more information đŸ€˜
Cheers,
Billy

Every Record I Own - Day 609: ISIS Wavering Radiant
I was asked by the ISIS guys to do a very last minute bio/press-release for what would wind up being their final studio full-length album. Whoever had been enlisted for the first stab at the bio had written about Wavering Radiant like it was an Electric Wizard record, with all the emphasis being on BIG RIFFS and AMPLIFIER WORSHIP and SHEER SONIC HEAVINESS.... which is great if you’re in a heavy stoner/doom band, but Wavering Radiant was an album with a lot of different textures and approaches, and it seemed like the writer wasn’t picking up on that. So the band emailed me the record, I listened to it steadily for a couple of days straight, and I tried to come up with something that captured the tone of the album while also tapping into some of the one-on-one conversations about music I’d had with the ISIS guys over the years. Here’s what I came up with:
The music of ISIS is a suitable metaphor for their twelve-year career: patient, meticulous, fraught with tension, and gradually building towards an apex of seismic proportions. From the hypnotically bludgeoning down-tuned riffs of their early years to the gracefully sprawling passages on their pivotal sophomore album Oceanic and continuing through the intricate rhythmic textures and increased melody of 2006's In The Absence of Truth, ISIS have successfully navigated the process of growing and evolving without disavowing their initial vision.
There is no consensus among ISIS' cult-like fan base as to which album serves as the ultimate document of their art. Each record is a piece in the puzzle. Consequently, to brand their latest offering, Wavering Radiant, as the pinnacle of their achievements would be folly. Yet it's a tempting proclamation. The factors that defined ISIS in the past are still present, but the band manipulates its tactics and strategies with a refined sense of purpose and a heightened knack for nuance. They've extrapolated on the polar nature of their music. It's simultaneously their most challenging and accessible music to date. While Wavering Radiant is finely structured, dynamically varied, and melodically developed, it's also unpredictable, expansive, and densely layered. Every ISIS endeavor is an active listening experience—requiring an aficionado's ear for subtlety and a scholar's grasp of the larger picture, but Wavering Radiant manages to provide instant gratification while also harnessing the slow burn of a classic, revealing the full extent of its mysteries only after repeated listens.
Rare is the record that finds the individual players as compelling as the sum of their parts, and ISIS has achieved just that. While the monolithic guitars of Aaron Turner and Michael Gallagher remain a primary fixture in the ISIS soundscape, the dueling instrumentalists continue to develop and expand upon their interplay. Together they evoke the emotional range of Wagner: brooding, triumphant, vengeful, and morose. Aaron Turner's vocals are more prominent than ever. But in keeping with the egalitarian nature of their art, the vocals continue to serve as flourishes rather than a focal point. Clifford Meyer's multi-instrumentation duties play a stronger role this time around as well. His atmospheric textures are still present, but he unlocks new horizons for the band with Fender Rhodes, electric organ, and the occasional psychedelic guitar lead. Jeff Caxide's bass playing still covers a broad spectrum, from providing melodic counterpoints to the guitars to conjuring Peter Hook's chorused bass leads. Wavering Radiant finally gives Caxide his due, allowing his various approaches to further accentuate the music's shifting moods while anchoring the melodies into the formidable rhythm section. And here drummer Aaron Harris once again shows his expansive depth in technique and ability. From esoteric tabla passages to authoritative syncopated punctuations, Harris transcends the basic metronomic function of the drum set to imbue the percussive element of the band with a heightened sense of drama and power. Wavering Radiant finds every component of the ISIS armory coming into equal play.
Grandiose without being over-indulgent, epic without compromising focus, ISIS have resurrected the art of prioritizing the album over the individual songs. Wavering Radiant, though divided into seven pieces, is essentially one composition. It's difficult to listen to the record without feeling the ghost of an era in rock music where musicians weren't afraid to take chances, weren't concerned with pandering to short attention spans, and weren't compelled to compact their material into a radio-friendly format. With producer Joe Barresi (Queens of the Stone Age, Melvins, Enslaved) behind the boards, the recording displays a sonic range and tonal depth in perfect step with the broad range of the band's capabilities. This is an audiophile's dream: rich in headphone candy, goose-bump inducing in its crescendos, majestic in its beauty, humbling in its devastating power. If radio still exists in 30 years, Wavering Radiant is the kind of record that obsessive DJs will play in its entirety during their graveyard shifts. But the huddled mass of ISIS enthusiasts are already celebrating its arrival.

if you want: mecha (not good fight scenes tho for mecha standards) / something really fucking weird / kind of abstract and meta story(?) / missed potential imo
Listeners is.. something.
Now, first I’d like to address the score on MAL. The anime is actually not that bad. I think the problem is how the summary mentions that “music has disappeared” in the world of “Listeners” when that is really not the focal point of the anime, maybe in a more abstract and meta way but I specifically only remember 3 very short scenes where music is brought up. Apparently, a lot of the lines in the anime are song lyrics from iconic rock songs but besides the fact that lyrics is really not my fortĂ©, I also don’t know anything about the artists and songs its referencing as I only have very little knowledge of them (besides listening to them on GTA 4 Liberty Rock Radio probably).
So with that out of the way, first I really wanna praise the OPs art. It’s only like 3-5 second long little scenes with the credits inbetween but they are so dynamic, fluid and pack a punch that if the anime was a 10 minute short film done with this animation I would’ve been in love.
I hope no one kills me for this comparison but “Listeners” immediately reminded me of “Eureka Seven” with not only its plot but the characters as well. The difference of course is that “Eureka Seven” 50 episodes to work with while “Listeners” only had 12. We have a kid working in the garbage dumps of Liverchester collecting scrap and such for pay. His name is Echo and he tries to reassure himself that this is great and fine and dandy until he comes across a girl who’s been dumped with the garbage, Mu.
Mu has amnesia and doesn’t even remember her name. However, she has a “core part” hanging from her necklace with the text Ό (read as Mu) so that’s what Echo decides to call him. We dwelve into the strange world of “Listeners” a bit and find out that there are “Players” out there who have audio headphone jacks on their bodies and can connect “plug into” amplifiers which for whatever reason turn into giant mechs. THIS is the core of the anime for the first half. Echo has been working on an “Equipment” aka amplifier mecha from the stuff he got from the garbage site and using Mu’s core part the thing turns into a mech powered by Mu after she connects to it. However, Players attract strange shadowy creatures called the “Earless” who need to be taken care of by the Players or they’ll wreck havoc and kill people. Liverchester in the past was the place of a great tragedy supposedly because of a Player called Jimi Stonefree so after all is said and done, both Mu and Echo decide to go on an adventure to find out who Mu really is.
The “directionless but really talented in one thing” main boy character and the “has amnesia but is super strong” main female character duo is for some reason really popular, huh.
Anyway, the lack of an explanation for most of the things going on in the first half of the anime could be called bad writing but it was so abstract and... intriguing somehow that I didn’t care about the fine details. A world where not everything needs to be explained is something that can work as long as there are still rules set for the universe that are consistent. The duo travels around to meet with various side characters, all of whom give little breadcrumbs for the viewer and the characters to Mu and Liverchester’s past.
The second half of the anime is where my enjoyment started to plummet. Characters with really vague plans and goals, the side characters assembling treated like they’re the avengers or something when they only appeared for one episode, Echo having a schroom trip or something, and the already pretty obvious “discrimination” aspect being amplified (hah) by 100 where it felt incredibly forced. The ending didn’t make much sense either. As much as I barely have any idea what the fuck was going on for most of the anime, I was fine with it because of what I said above but the ending was really... a tiny bit much even for me.
LISTEN, “Listeners” is something really strange, with pleasing visuals (except the mechs) and colours, pretty nice music and a kind of “just accept what’s happening” kind of story where the viewer can make their own conclusions as they please. If this had more time to flesh out the characters, *maybe*, it’d be something I’d recommend. But it didn’t. And we’re left with a really weird show with layers to it but no time to really dwelve into it all.

10 Best Studio Headphones Reviews in 2020
Best Studio headphones are an indispensable tool in the production, recording, mixing and mastering of music. But not every headphone is suitable for every job. Headphones are usually divided into three categories: open, closed and semi-open. Since each type of headphone has different advantages and disadvantages, it is important to know in advance what functions the headphones must perform. Whether a singer or music producer, there is a suitable headphone for every step in the studio. Many studio headphones are also ideal for private use, in order to enjoy the pure pleasure of music at the highest level.
Closed vs. open and half-open headphones
Closed headphones are usually used for recording and production because they have excellent noise cancellation. This makes it easier to hear smaller details in the music. At the same time, the closed space of the headphones is also a disadvantage, as no sounds get outside and the sound appears fuller. Sounds can also be thrown back from the closed ear cups so that a muffled sound can arise. Closed headphones are a must for listening to music in a noisy environment.
Open and half-open headphones, on the other hand, are more suitable for mixing and mastering. The ear cups are structured to allow air and sound to pass through, producing a sound that sounds more natural. Open and half-open headphones are therefore less suitable for listening to music in noisy surroundings. Semi-open headphones combine properties such as good natural sound and powerful bass. Because half-open headphones are not completely closed, there is no muffled sound.
What are the Best Studio Headphones Under 200 For Mixing, Recording Reviews
The best all-rounder – Audio Technica ATH-M50X (closed)
In addition to their good sound, the Audio Technica ATH-M50X headphones also have a successful design and can therefore not only be seen in the studio, but often also on the street. The closed headphones are ideal for listening to music in noisy environments, such as in the city. The auricles can be rotated up to 90 degrees and are therefore sufficiently flexible.
The 45mm aperture driver ensures exceptional clarity in the sound. The bass sound is also of excellent quality. The cables are completely removable and the model is stable. The versatile model from Audio Technica is suitable for musicians and singers as well as for private users.
With the ATH-M50X model, Audio Technica offers a solution for private and professional users alike.
Beyerdynamic DT 880 Pro B001B1QENY
The semi-open model from Beyerdynamic combines the advantages of closed and open headphones. Because of this, the DT 880 Pro are a popular choice among professional musicians. They convince with a good sound quality and excellent wearing comfort. The soft shells ensure that the headphones can be worn for a long time without pain from the pressure. The half-open shells let enough air through so that instruments can be heard clearly. At the same time, the airflow allows the ears to be cooled. On the other hand, the DT 880 Pro successfully suppress external sound influences.
The sound of the DT 880 Pro is neutral and provides the listener with a full stereo sound. The robust workmanship ensures the necessary durability of the headphones. The DT 880 Pro require an amplifier on mobile devices. With a price below 200 euros, this all-rounder can certainly compete with the best of the best in its price class.
Sony MDR-7506 B000AJIF4E
Not all good headphones have to be expensive. Especially those who are just trying to gain a foothold as a singer have to pay attention to the budget at the beginning. This is where the MDR-7506 model excels. With a price of around 100 euros, Sony offers headphones that don’t have to hide behind other models in its price range. Despite the low price, the headphones are well made and have a good durability. The closed headphones offer good noise isolation and the MDR-7506 are also convincing when it comes to wearing comfort.
Due to the good isolation, the headphones are very suitable for the thorough control of sound tracks. The 40mm drivers enable deep bass and a wide dynamic range. The high level of comfort enables long recording sessions. An additional feature of the MDR-7506 is the ability to fold it. While this feature reduces the durability of many headphones, it is not a problem with the Sony model. Sony’s affordable model is the winner in the price-performance category due to its good quality in terms of sound and comfort.
V-Moda Crossfade LP2 B00HYH7HXA
With the V-Moda Crossfade LP2, performance and fashion collide. The headphones are robustly built and are particularly suitable for musicians who have to work a lot on the go and who rely on the durability of their products. The auricles can be rotated for flexible working. The plugs are gold-plated and the cables are removable. The V-Moda Crossfade LP2 has good noise isolation and is equipped with a 50mm double-diaphragm driver.
The highs are clear and the bass powerful and the mids can also be heard. The outer frame is made of steel and the cables are also reinforced. The headphones are primarily aimed at travelers and frequent users who do not want to forego quality with a robust design. The LP2s are customizable as you wish and are particularly suitable for DJing.
Avantone Pro MP1 B01E64T3E4
The Avantone Pro MP1 belong to the mixphones and are thus the first of their kind. The headphones allow you to choose between stereo, mono and a mix mode. With the Avantone Pro MP1 you get three headphones in one. The 50mm drivers deliver a clear sound. The bass and treble are balanced and the mids are clean too.
The Avantone Pro MP1 delivers a good, neutral sound that is perfect for working in the studio or on stage. With the many functions, the design was not spared. The headphones are made of good materials and colored highlights ensure a nice look. Unfortunately there is a bit of a problem with the optimal workmanship, so there are some prints here.
Focal Listen Closed Back Headphones B01H2NDPZY
Focal may not be the first choice for many musicians when it comes to studio headphones, but in 2018 the company released an interesting competitor in the studio headphones segment with the Spirit Professional headphones. The Focal Spirit Professionals particularly stand out due to their design. The padding of the ear cups and the padding of the headband are kept in beautiful, dark red and are a little eye-catcher.
If the red is too conspicuous for you, you can also opt for a black variant. The headphones were primarily developed as monitoring headphones for studio and home studio environments. Thanks to the closed design, mixing is also possible in a noisy environment. Bass frequencies are reproduced very well. The sound is neutral and shows no distortion.
Shure SRH1840 B0073A4FM4
The Shure SRH1840 headphones are also some of the best studio headphones on the market. In addition to its good design, it convinces above all with a 40mm driver, which enables detailed highs and powerful bass. The open headphones deliver a neutral and natural sound. This makes it easier to mix different speakers.
The SRH1840 is also very comfortable to wear and can be customized. The soft padding covers the ears well and the wearer is also equipped with extra padding. Shure created the headphones with an aluminum alloy and steel grilles that are not only of good quality, but also look good. The headphones are light and robust thanks to the high quality materials. The Shure SRH1840 are suitable for mixing, mastering,
AKG K240 MKII B0016MNBAM
Another manufacturer that has already made a name for itself in the field of studio headphones is AKG. With the K240 MKII model, the company offers semi-open headphones for studio work. The headphones are one of the most widely used studio headphones. The 30mm XXL transducer ensures strong lows, precise mids and clear highs. Thanks to the semi-open design, the bass tones come through quite well and at the same time the natural sound is not distorted. The headphones are quite affordable and have velvety ear cups that are very comfortable to wear.
The carrier is made of synthetic leather and ensures the right look. The cables are removable. The light weight is also a great advantage for long work in the studio. The headphones are very suitable for mixing and mastering, as well as studio monitoring. For DJs,
Beyerdynamic DT 990 PRO B0011UB9CQ
If you’re looking for headphones that will last for years, the build quality of the Beyerdynamic DT 990 PRO will surely impress you. The sturdy metal frame is impact resistant, and while the ear cups themselves are made of plastic, they still feel good enough to withstand a fall. Their sound profile differs from that of the Audio-Technica ATH-M50x. Due to the open-back design, they have a little less sub-bass and the highs tend to hiss. As open headphones, they let ambient noises through and also emit noises. The beyerdynamic studio headphones are able to reproduce even the smallest acoustic detail and are among the most popular headphones for studio work.
The beyerdynamic DT 990 PRO headphones have received numerous positive reviews from professional and private customers. All of these reviews have in common that there is agreement that the headphones convince with an excellent sound as well as good wearing comfort. The DT 990 PRO model may not be a fashion highlight, because it is kept rather simple, but you get excellent studio headphones at a low price.
Sennheiser HD 25-1 II B00009ZSYG
These headphones are light and weigh only 140g! The HD 25 is marketed as DJ headphones, which means that they can withstand the rigors of a tour and continue to function. You wouldn’t think this when you first felt them – they’re made entirely of plastic and pretty thin. But apparently our concerns are misguided as these are the most widely used DJ headphones in the world, due in part to their durability and the fact that all components are easily replaceable.
They have a nice minimal design and look great when worn. The auricles feel similar to those of the HD 280 PRO. The auricles can be rotated a little, but due to their construction they can rotate very far.
The Sennheiser HD 25 has a separate headband. The HD 25 are very light and minimal, which makes them very comfortable to wear. Due to the on-ear design, however, you will always notice that you are wearing headphones. We were able to wear them continuously for many hours.
Once you’re familiar with the HD 25, you might ask yourself, “Why are they in a studio headphone guide? It turns out that while these are DJ headphones, they are surprisingly capable studio and production headphones.
The bass is very good, and there is a smooth roll-off beyond 50 Hz, so the sub-bass is pretty decent too. The mids and highs are incredibly crisp – the percussion and vocals sound very detailed.
Due to its light weight and clear sound, the HD 25 are good headphones for casual listening. However, the relatively short cable could be a limiting factor.
The isolation of these headphones is surprisingly good considering they are not on-ear headphones.
Even if the Sennheiser HD 25 should be known to most as DJ headphones, they are no mean feat in the studio. This is great news if you need headphones that are extremely durable and sound great too.
Conclusion
When looking for suitable studio headphones, the musician’s personal preferences are always important. It is therefore important to be clear in advance about the properties that the desired headphones should have. For some musicians, headphones may not be enough, as they are weak in certain areas, but outperform the competition in other areas. So it is not inconceivable in the studio to use several headphones.
For private users who want to use studio headphones for listening to music, closed headphones are recommended, as these usually have solid noise isolation. Open or semi-open headphones are primarily suitable for processes such as mixing and mastering. Ultimately, it makes sense Try different headphones and not rely entirely on the judgment of others. There is a suitable headphone for every professional group, be it a singer or a music producer. With some research, the perfect device for everyone can be found.

If the sinful streets of The District could talk, they would whisper about ANGUS FLORENCE’s arrival. Rumor has it, they are a little bit CAPRICIOUS & ECCENTRIC. Maybe we should find out for ourselves, they could be DAUNTLESS or SELF-RELIANT. All we really know is they will be working as an ARTIST. Someone said they saw them listening to BODY by MOTHER MOTHER on repeat, it’s like their theme song or something. Don’t trust the gossip though, come find out for yourself. You can see them coming from a mile away in FOCALE by the tell tale signs, CHARCOAL STAINED FINGERS, THE MUFFLED SOUND OF ROCK MUSIC COMING FROM HEADPHONES, DARK HAIR MESSILY SPILLING OVER THE EDGE OF A BED. CONNECTIONS
WC01. blood is thicker than water. Angie has never been very close to her sibling due to the fact that she unfortunately picked up the family curse. They’ve always done their best to take care of her when they can, but she makes this extremely difficult by never being honest with them and lashing out when they get too sentimental. She knows they mean well but is afraid that they’ll become “tainted” if allowed to get too close. She’s never told them how she feels and holds them at bay for their own sake.
WC02. bad habits. In order to escape frequent nightmares, Angie doesn’t sleep. She functions very well for someone with horrible sleep patterns, and this is largely due to the fact that she buys magic charms for herself. This individual is the supplier of these charms. At first, Angie might have seemed like an average person just looking for a daily energy boost, but her behavior has gradually become more erratic. Each new request is for a charm stronger than the last. How this person feels about her is up to interpretation.
HEADCANONS
HC01. Angie is known as a very energetic person but nobody is quite sure where the energy comes from, considering she hardly sleeps. She is often plagued by nightmarish visions of death in her sleep. This causes her to avoid sleep altogether for as long as she can, running on pure willpower and the strongest, most concentrated coffee one could palate. It’s actually gotten so bad that she eventually had to buy charms that amplify what little energy is stored in her body. The severe lack of sleep makes it so that when she does eventually sleep, it’s so deep that nothing disturbs her.
HC02. It’s always been suspected that even if she weren’t born the family curse, Angie would have been a strange child. She developed an interest in the darker things from a very young age. Before her powers as a grim emerged, she was already fascinated with death and horror films. Things that should have scared her, never did. It wasn’t uncommon to find her giggling at imaginary friends, asking questions that made others uncomfortable, and being awfully aware of the macabre. Her parents kept her away from their magic practices as best they could, concerned that she would lose herself like all the other grims in the family had. It wasn’t until her powers emerged that Angie began reacting negatively to the idea of death.
HC03. Though some premonitions happen while she’s going through her daily routine, she can sometimes feel them coming. When this happens, she’s able to stabilize herself to prepare for the emotional wound it will open. She also enters a trance-like state in which she begins painting. The painting, ultimately, becomes the vision that she’s seeing. Hundreds of these paintings, of all sizes, are in her home and in a storage unit. Most are covered in sheets, some were splashed with black paint immediately after she regained consciousness, and others were bought. Hundreds more, the worst ones, have been completely destroyed.
BACKGROUND
From a long line of mages, Angus Florence was expected (or more accurately, hoped) to be a baby boy, the second born of the family. After a few generations without an actively cursed child, the Florence coven had hoped their century-long curse had someone worn off, or they would continue to be blessed with sons. The fact that the last female born into the family had been the one right before an active child, tensions had been high regarding Angie’s arrival. Her family knew their hopes had not been listened to the day a dark storm cloud rolled over their town in the middle of Sleepy Hollow, NY’s dry March season. The storm was a familiar one, a darkness that blanketed the village every 10th daughter born into the bloodline.
The Florence coven curse was created to punish a greedy human, the weak husband of a witch that had wished for power that surpassed his wife’s. He located the ritual to summon a crossroads demon, under the belief that incomparable power would be his if he gave them his soul. Unfortunately for him, the demon had decided to exercise their funny bone that night. The demon told him that instead of his soul, they would require his last born daughter. Much to their surprise, the man agreed without hesitation. Displeased that their request hadn’t caused any emotional distress, the demon changed their terms at the last minute. They would require his soul and the daughter. The man gained magical power that was equal to that of his wife’s, though he didn’t have very long to use it. When word of his actions reached his wife, she became outraged. The two fought, and the inexperienced warlock lost to the well-trained hand of his wife. The ten years he had bought himself with the deal had become one short week before he met his demise. In her emotional turmoil, the witch inadvertently warped the terms of the demon’s deal, creating an endless fate for every 10th daughter of her future bloodline.
Centuries later, the Florence coven is still feeling the consequences of this selfish human. A handful of generations had been able to avoid it by having as few children as possible, and getting lucky that most of those who were born were male. Then came Angie. Her family shielded her from the truth for as long as they could, though it proved difficult with how often she asked why she couldn’t use magic like the rest of the family. Always the outcast, she entertained herself in unconventional ways. She spent much of her time alone. Often, she would see people and animals that others couldn’t seem to communicate with, unaware that these were early signs of her abilities. Eventually the rare appearances of these “imaginary” friends became common. She estranged herself from the rest of the village by indulging the spirits and hallucinations, favoring them over the people her own age that always seemed to be afraid of her. She was ten years old when she took up painting, determined to show everyone else what it is she saw. She was thirteen when she had her first vision. It wasn’t a very gruesome vision, not like those in the future would prove to be, but an unsettling one considering it was of her own elderly neighbor. Her first instinct was to run across the street to her neighbor’s home from school, but she realized that she was already outside the house. Not only was she confused, but the fatigue of the teleportation made her unsure of what had just happened. Still, she ran inside, only to find the deceased woman. Having never actually faced or dealt with death before, Angie was understandably upset. She declined to tell her parents how she had gotten into the neighbor’s home, or why she had been the one to find her, but they already knew. It was later that night that they revealed to her what was beginning, and that it would only get worse.
For years, Angie tried pretending her abilities didn’t exist. It began as ignoring the spirits that tried speaking to her, then turned into self-destructive behavior like self-medicating and isolating herself from others. What little advice her parents tried offering her was completely ignored. Music became a good tool that drowned out the noise in her head. When the visions began seeping into her dreams, she stopped sleeping as much. Her mind slowly became accustomed to working overtime to fight off the visions and voices, turning her into a semi-functioning shell of a young woman. She was eighteen when she realized that art helped ease the exhausting effect of her visions. This became some of the only solace she could find, and she hid most of it well for some time. When she was 25 her family became concerned and tried forcing her to stop using the only coping mechanisms that worked, pushing Angie to run away. She left Sleepy Hollow and didn’t look back, hopping on a boat headed across the ocean, to a town supposedly made for people like her.

Icon Audio HP8 MkII Signature Headphone Amplifier Review
https://www.audiophilia.com/reviews/2021/2/1/0t4as8dlvsipy6zuup151430h32qvc It drove my 52 ohm Focals just as well as my 300ohm Sennheisers, and I would certainly recommend this amp for statement headphones like the Sennheiser HD800/HD800S, Audeze LCD-3/4, the HIFIMAN HE1000 or the Focal Utopia. With 800 mW x2 of Class A power on tap (a number up there with many solid state designs), it has
