The world merely is.

If it were, there would be no such thing as an era, and no such thing as vintage or dated.

What you're experiencing is how it feels to get older.

Some folks wanna know what fabrics feel like, or try to imagine how they smell, because the internet's connectivity of imagery is no longer enough of a novelty and both sound and touch are massively under-served.

To each their own, sure.

But when things you think of as new and "not always here" become weird and uncomfortable, and ubiquitous when you least expect them?

This isn't some new phenomena. You know gameshows and wrestling used to be a carnival thing?

The internet used to have right-angles, depth shadows and custom visual style where every website felt entirely different from every other -- so much so that you could get drunk on the novelty because you had to since everything took so long to load.

Beer used to be two drinks: The foamhead, and the body, poured together at the bar.

Startrek was for housewives. Elvis Presley and The Beatles were for teenaged girls.

Games used to be functionally driven by how they worked, not statistically driven by how stats and damage and counters work.

Clothes used to last basically forever.

It'll all be streamlined, whether you like it or not.

To appeal to the highest possible number of people, for the least amount of effort.

This is what not being part of a consumer majority feels like.

i hate the contentification of everything. Im not gonna watch this video anymore because i don't like asmr i dont want to have someone whispering in my ear and having the fabric noises like bass boosted to 100. I'd love to just watch a video about the history of vintage clothes that really interests me but why does it have to be plastered with this veneer of marketable content. Is anyone going to watch this video in 5 years? If it was just an informative video about a piece of history yeah absolutely people would come back to it because its timeless. But now its dated, uncomfortable, and weird. Theres a barrier put up where you have to deal with the desperate algorithm bait marketing before you can actually access history. It makes me so mad

This is the face part, carve it open with a knife and trim it from the (in)sides to fit your project. It does not have a pre-designed nostril placement so that it could be decided by the artist. Measurements: length 32,5 cm / 13", width 20 cm / 8", height 21 cm / 8.3", muzzle circumference 40 cm / 16" Weight: 500g (uncut) We're currently developing this design further and will have other sergal parts available soon.
