@zolanort my Zelda cosplays! I am by no means professional, but I certainly have fun with it :) SS Zelda's apron thingy has pockets on the reverse, and the sailcloth doesn't fit super well but it stays and it's also insulated like a quilt.
(EOW Zelda seems so so easy, do you know how many long white dresses I can find at a thrift store around here? XD)

Thank you so much everyone for your kind words on my Cal Kestis cosplay!!! It was a blast to wear around the con, and I can't wait to wear it again!
My mom graciously was the one who made my cosplay, and she did an amazing job!!! She is a very talented seamstress, and I def need to learn how to sew from her haha BD-1 I got from Galaxy's Edge at Disneyland, and my lightsaber I got from Disneyland as well.

I reworked the headpiece for Bakugou and finally placed magnets in the wig. ✌🏻

Don't think I ever showed her off - my first cosplay (and bigger sewing project in general) since... 2018 or 2019, I honestly don't remember. Still need to make some changes and fix some things up, but she's wearable!

I am learning how to make props with EVA foam! I am going to use these newfound skills for evil once I’m confident enough! :D

I wanna do an aba cosplay sooo bad#I’m going to a con in literally 2 weeks and I believe in my ability to go from 0 knowledge to successful prop in that time#getting boring stuff like a respirator (for foam dust when I use dremel) and a good cutting mat are the actual main issues#there’s no way I’m gonna be able to get a wig like aba’s hair in 2 weeks though so I’m just gonna like#idk… dye my actual hair teal and deal with the fact that it’s like 1/10 the length of her hair. I can be vaguely masc aba it’s fiiine#no one at the con is gonna question who I’m meant to be if my arm candy for the day is a 7 foot tall key

Bought up more supplies for an upcoming drag show I'm in~
Looking forward to styling this wig, I'm being my BG3 oc who is a star elf Necromancer 🤩
Ordered some gorgeous black pearls to adorn the ribcage armour because bodily secretions as bling is perfect for a Necromancer (also pearls are made of calcium carbonate which is also found in bone matter).
Of course I had to grab more foam clay as I have used up my red bucket finally. Miiiight be doing a bone crown or other accessories with it because details are fun.

my most hamlet kinnie fact is that i totally get why david bowie made out with a skull on stage. i will do that to when i do a drag routine to cracked actor. i would probably do that for the joke anyways if any of my skulls had a jaw

Every time I see a Sol cosplayer mentally I'm like *pushes them out of the way* show me the sword please show me the Outrage Fire Junkyard Seal Dog II III I'm begging you
#textpost#It's been 3 months since I got my 3D printer if I can't start making Outrage parts soon I'm going to go feral irl#Catch me in the backyard gnawing on mourning dove bones mumbling about z-axis and e-step calibrations#After doing the Junkyard Dog emblem zipper pull print last night I realized that if I do prints in the Overture PLA-#-with 80-100% infill I could probably make pieces durable enough to stick on my jackets#That is... I could rip the handcuff models off the Strive Sol 3D model and print it and put them on my red jacket#The 'hard' part then would be fabricating the leather straps that hold them on but that'll be easy#Basically the Outrage is by far the hardest part of a Strive Sol cosplay#If I have that I'm 90% of the way there and with a 3D printer I can do damn near anything lol#Who needs EVA foam and Warbla when I can materialize parts with corn goo heated to over 500 degree Fahrenheit#Actually back up for a sec. The wig is the next hardest part. I have no idea how tf people do his ridiculous hair#UGH 2009 me wouldn't've needed a wig lmfao
