Thinkin about Chip Jrwi and Reuben Price’s relationship again… and perhaps Chip’s internalized biphobia..

Cause what if Chip got internalized biphobia from Reuben. Chip hasn’t really had any positive queer elders (besides Finn but he don’t count in this scenario). What if a lot of the people around Skullslice and in the gang were homophobic. Now stick with me. We all know that Reuben runs a certain club so it would make sense if he got around a bit. The people under Reuben couldn’t say anything about it. Well one day word gets out that he was with a guy and since the gang members can’t exactly beat him up for it or talk to much shit they just say stuff like yeah he was a slut anyway it makes sense. And Chip overheard the way they talk about him and his relationships which changes how he sees queer people.

Fast forward to more recently years and Chip has realized that homophobia is not poggers because he has seen gay presenting relationships but he has never actually seen someone else who is openly bisexual. But then he starts getting crushes on guys. Because of what people have said about Reuben he feels tremendous guilt because he thinks that his desires are like Reuben’s, cold, uncaring, one night stand type deals, when in reality he just wants actual relationships.

And what if one of those crushes was Gillion Tidestrider. Imagine the guilt he would harvest towards himself that he would like someone as great as him. And when Gillion mentions his asexuality it makes Chip feel as if he’s being a bad friend and that his feelings of wanting to be in a loving relationship are objectifying and sexualizing Gillion when that’s not at all what he’s doing.

I just can’t stop thinking about Chip feeling guilty over wanting to be loved because he doesn’t want to hurt other people and he feels like his love is spoiled. Does this make sense at all?

And so it begins. During a recent appearance on Fox News, House Speaker Mike Johnson confirmed he was in favor of defunding PBS (along with Planned Parenthood) as preparations for Donald Trump’s second presidency and a fully Republican-controlled Congress begin.

During Trump’s first administration, he repeatedly proposed federal budgets calling for the elimination of government-funded arts programs, including the National Endowment for the Arts, the National Endowment for the Humanities, and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. The latter provides funding for PBS, NPR, and other public TV and radio outlets. At the time, these proposals stalled in Congress — even when Republicans held both chambers. Just this summer, however, the House Appropriations Committee went as far as proposing zero funding for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting effective in 2027. It’s well worth pointing out that funding for national arts endowments doesn’t even make up a full percentage point of the federal budget. Of the $6.75 trillion spent in the fiscal year 2024, the NEA and NEH each received $207 million. Meanwhile, the CPC received $535 million. That amounts to 0.003% each for the NEA and NEH and 0.008% for the CPC. Meanwhile, the 2024 federal budget provided $824.3 billion to the Department of Defense, or roughly 12%.

Appearing on Wednesday’s edition of The Story With Martha MacCallum on Fox “News”, House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) endorses the defunding of NPR, PBS, Corporation for Public Broadcasting, and Planned Parenthood.

Speaker Johnson’s call to defund NPR, PBS, and Planned Parenthood are clinically insane ideas.

Fox News host Kayleigh McEnany drew mockery and eye rolls on Monday when she suggested that Donald Trump’s idea to make Canada a U.S. state is something many of the country’s residents are actually interested in.

“Could the American flag be adding another star in 2025?” McEnany, the president-elect’s former White House press secretary, said on “The Ingraham Angle.” “Well, Trump’s idea of making Canada great again by turning it into the 51st state is gaining some serious traction, especially from Canadian citizens,” she added. Her guest for the segment was Canadian “Shark Tank” investor Kevin O’Leary, who has been publicly advocating for the union. Trump shared an article Monday on Truth Social that said O’Leary will come to Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida to “start the narrative” about merging the nations. (O’Leary does not represent Canada and has no authority to negotiate on its behalf.) McLeary told McEnany he intends to visit Trump in Florida to discuss the matter. He also said he had been conducting “unofficial polling,” and “I bet you more than 70%” of Canadians would be interested in an arrangement where Canada and the U.S. merge economically while allowing Canada to retain its sovereignty.

On the Monday edition of Faux “News”’s The Ingraham Angle, guest host Kayleigh McEnany gaslighted the American and Canadian people to baselessly suggest that the majority of Canadians would go along with being annexed by the USA. Polling in Canada reveals that the overwhelming majority of Canadians, regardless of party affiliation, are heavily opposed to Canada becoming the 51st State.
