Update on my Baby is possessed by William Afton and Phone Guy's daughter theory.
Look at this!
Tumblr media
Baby is hidden in the countdown post, the one where the text reads "my uncle knows all about you". We know from the teaser at the end of Taking Back Fazbear's that Elizabeth says this to Glitchtrap. Then why is Baby here? Maybe because she is possessed by said uncle?

AAAAAA
I I LOVE THISSSS
[I'm curing my post breakup sadness with fnaf musical theories❤️]
Alright, so, while (re)watching First Nights at Freddy’s, I noticed that there are at least a couple instances of MatPat’s character and Glitchtrap saying similar things or expressing similar sentiments:
-“You wanted to force my hand, didn’t you? Be careful what you wish for.” / “Force my hand, and you’ll pay.”
-“I drove away the light ‘til I was numb.” / “I didn’t really understand the concept [of evil] at first, but the more I watched you sniveling skinbags, all your lies and hypocrisy and corruption, the more I embraced it.”
-Both have instances where they reply to one character telling another, “I’ll be right behind you,” with “No, you won’t.” This one feels especially notable, since the musical is basically bookended by these scenes.
So this got me thinking, maybe there’s more of a link between these two than there appears to be.
So, spoilers and random headcanons under the cut.
So here’s what we know, or at least what we can infer:
-When William Afton was killed, Henry had already killed or attempted killing, as shown by the fact that when William found the Crying Child, he already knew what was going on and what Henry's intention was.
-Presumably, this was after Glitchtrap had been locked away, otherwise no one would have been there to do it.
-Despite apparently being created for personal use, Glitchtrap actually resided in a company computer, or else wiping the old files wouldn't have freed him. Which means that it's possible Henry was aware of him in some way.
-Henry was shown to have a wedding ring*, suggesting he has, or at least had, a family - probably the latter, since he switches identities so easily.
*I am fully aware this is probably just because MatPat doesn't tend to take his actual wedding ring off. I also don’t care, because I’m having fun. Besides, I would hope that MatPat, of all people, would appreciate someone looking into tiny details and coming up with explanations for them
-Therefore, it's probable that at some point, Henry *lost* that family. We don't get any confirmation of this, or any indication that he ever had a kid, but Henry Emily did have a child who died young in the FNAF novels - this is not evidence that it happened in the musical, of course, but it at least supports that possibility.
So consider:
William has this advanced AI on a company computer. Henry, who's lost a child of his own in the past, somehow learns of the suggestion made to William to “replace his dead child with one of the many unsupervised kids flocking to his family diner each day” - perhaps William talks to him about this AI, maybe Henry stumbled on it accidentally, but either way, unlike William, he likes the idea. Maybe he tries straight kidnapping at first, then killed when the child was uncooperative, discovering he enjoyed it, or maybe he took it too far from the start. Either way, that’s what starts him on that path.
When Glitchtrap first appears, he mentions the murders in the restaurant, though he thinks they were done by William (“Or [take] your uncle, an upstanding business manager, using his restaurant as cover to murder kids in his spare time.”). Which suggests two things: That there is evidence of the murders on the computer - also supported by the fact that Henry wanted the old files wiped clean - and that Glitchtrap is still aware of what's going on in the computer system, even if he doesn't know who's actually adding it.
(Side note, but this probably added to Glitchtrap’s frustrations: Imagine being locked away for your ideas being “too extreme”, only to have your jailer then go even more extreme.)
All this is to say, it's possible that, even though they didn't really know each other, Glitchtrap was influenced/shaped by Henry, even if just because Henry was using that computer under William’s name, and Glitchtrap was picking up on what he left behind.
This also offers a possible backstory for Henry. The closest we get to learning his motivations are his lines in Dark Remains, and though they don’t really say anything about what that motivation is, the song implies that he was driven to it and it was a conscious decision, he wasn’t just dark from the start. If he thought doing so would restore his family in some way, or if he failed in that and started looking for retribution instead… well.
...
Subtheory That I’m Not Really Serious About but Think Would Be Interesting: Imagine if Henry and William were partners in more than one way, and so the child lost in the car accident was one they both lost. This is thrown off because Glitchtrap mentions that William lost his child and wife in that accident. But this idea hopped in my brain before I remembered that line, and I was too amused, so I wanted to share anyways.

My theory on the animatronics in FNaFtM
I meant to make this post earlier but I got distracted!
So I rewatched the supercut of the musical last night and notice something weird.
I had always assumed that the animatronics were only puppets for the sake of budgeting and quality. Y’know, like they’re supposed to canonically be seen by the characters in the musical as huge killer animatronics, because why would anyone be scared of a flimsy little puppet, and they’re only cutesified puppets because RE obviously couldn’t get ahold of actual animatronics.
But then I started noticing that characters within the musical were referring to the gang MULTIPLE times as both “animatronics/robots” and “puppets”. So obviously I was like, wait, huh? How could they be both in canon? I was trying to come up with some sort of reasoning as to why they were being referred to in both ways if they weren’t ACTUALLY big scary animatronics.
So I made a theory. Less of a theory, more of a headcanon? But look.
They’re both animatronics and puppets!
Tumblr media
Freddy, Chica, Bonnie, and Foxy — Fazbear Entertainment’s new attempt at safety in 1983!
After looking too “scary” and a few… incidents at other locations and facilities in the past, Fazbear Entertainment took a different approach with their animatronics. They made them smaller, fluffier, and added a new feature — the ability to puppeteer them.
Tumblr media
Similar to the concept of springlocks, you can use the animatronics as both — well, animatronics — as well as puppets! Each standing at about 2 feet tall and having their own unique endoskeleton, you can simply remove their feet and slide your hand through a space in the skeleton to deactivate their AI and use them as a puppet! It’s not recommended to do this while they’re in their roaming mode past 12am until morning.
Tumblr media
Whether they’re in showtime, roaming, or puppet mode, plush stuffing is strategically placed inside, around places that may be sharp or undesirable to touch. This is in case a child decides to hug, touch, squeeze, or tug on the animatronics.
(Not sure how to end this, but this also explains Freddy’s “accident” (biting that kid’s face off (he was probably malfunctioning in puppet mode)))
This is the best I could have explained it :P thank you for reading

I'm currently having writer's block with The WantsToBattle Case, a fnaftm psychological horror fic, and I am taking suggestions and ideas on what you think might happen in chapter 4+
Chapter 1-3 spoilers: Post og fnaf musical, Mark and Amy take Nate in after Nate has been on the run from Mad. Mad leaves a deer carcass on the door step and while the police are investigating the house, Nate has a mental break down and basically crashes out (poor Nate😔🙏🏻)
What do you want to happen in it? Do you want me to add specific characters into the story? If so, how would they be introduced? Do you want a Madpat or Mark centric chapter?
Please share ur theories:3
Anything
Please
I'm begging🙏🏻
I'll credit you guys‼️
I predict that this won't be a long story with maybe 10 chapters or less

Currently about half way through rewatching FNAF The Musical again. I have a couple of theories marinating in my mind, one of which I'm really happy with atm.
Regarding my past theories, I no longer think that Phone Guy is just a guy who changed his name to William Afton, but I still like my Glitchtrap being Phone Guy's (or even William Afton's) therapist theory and Phone Guy is Henry Emily theory.
Super excited to see how the series ends! I wonder if any of my theories will be right 🤔

Finally, here is (probably) my last FNAF The Musical theory before Virus comes out. Ready?
Baby is possessed by William Afton and Phone Guy's daughter.
Yes you read that correctly. I understand that this is a wild theory, but I have a bunch of evidence that I will try to jam into this theory-shaped hole.
First of all, the double soul. I feel like this is going to happen, if not with Baby then with someone else. Golden Freddy is a very important character in FNAF (I think. Again, I've never played the games) but there's been no real sign of him at all. Since FNAFTM has shaken up a lot of FNAF lore, I do think another character will take Golden Freddy’s attributes. And for the purpose of this theory, I think it will be Baby.
You see, Baby is an interesting character, as she often has motifs of multiples, even on a meta level (though I think a lot of this may just come from the change in actor). There are two versions of Blood and Tears, with different vibes and even some different lyrics. In Out For Blood, while Gwen is the main vocalist, AJ does harmonies, which gives the impression of two people singing at once. Baby sings “locked away where we won't be found” and “no one knows we're here”, despite being alone. While yes, from what she says, there seems to have been other animatronics with her at some point, at this moment she is alone.
People have been using her green eyes as evidence that she is possessed by someone. I agree with this, but I've noticed that her eyes only turn green sometimes. These moments are: before/after the lyrics “Anger was the one thing I retained”, “Once the light is out, the dark remains” and “In the darkness, vengeance will be mine”, and before/during her murder spree. I think this shows that there is a vengeful spirit inside of her, and if this is reflecting FNAF lore, then there may be another spirit inside of her as well.
So that's why I think Baby is possessed by two souls, but why William Afton and Phone Guy's daughter? Well, many people have been theorising that Baby is possessed by Phone Guy's daughter. It's a parallel to the games and it gives Phone Guy a motivation. I like this theory, but I'd like to add to it.
One thing that intrigued me about Baby in Dark Remains is that she knows how to supercharge animatronics. While she could have just learned this from it happening to other animatronics or even herself, what if it's because one of her souls made the tech to do it?
From the FNAF week posts on the Random Encounters Instagram, it appears like DHeusta might be playing William Afton (since the scrambled text decodes to “you already know his name”), who I think plays the role Henry Emily does in FNAF, the inventor whose business partner kills a bunch of kids. I also think he's going to show up in a flashback, since the locations in these posts haven't been seen in FNAFTM, or at least not in the prequels, and also based on Glitchtrap's line “your uncle is dead in the sneak peak at the end of Taking Back Fazbear's.
Here's my theory for the flashback. William Afton built Baby. At some kind of birthday celebration, Phone Guy's daughter gets killed by Baby. Phone Guy finds out about this, and gets revenge on him by killing him/getting Baby to kill him. Phone Guy takes William Afton's identity and then goes on to kill a bunch of children. William Afton and Phone Guy's daughter then both possess Baby. I also think this is why Phone Guy says to Alexandra “don't ever dabble with animatronics again.” It's a cautionary tale. He dabbled with animatronics and now his daughter is dead.
Is this all just a massive stretch that relies too much on meta elements? Probably. But what's the fun in theorising if you don't make a Sans is Ness or a Gregory is a robot every once in a while?
So yeah. This is probably going to be my last FNAFTM theory. This series has been so fun, and I'm really glad I got my theorising boots on again. I used to be scared of making theories because I was scared of being wrong. But the fun of theories isn't being right, it's looking at a piece of media you love and going “what if I go a bit insane about this?”
I can't wait for Virus. See you in November!
