ok i finally finished watching the fnaf musical dark remains deep dive/stream archive and oh my god. absurdly long script with more on the way. crazy stunts. vanny and glitchtrap have much bigger roles. alexandria is back for a flashback sequence. one of the new actors is nonbinary. new cg5 footage?? mike is back?!? MIKE IS FUCKING BACK YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW HYPE I AM HE'S LITERALLY MY FAVORITE CHARACTER

spoilers:

MIKE IS CANONICALLY THE PUPPET. I REST MY CASE.

BUT IT MAKES SO MUCH SENSE THO

- the puppet didn't show up in ground zero, making him (him? don't come for me i'm basing the puppet off of the fact mike is possessing) the only animatronic from the web of lies animatronic group that wasn't there for ground zero.

- the puppet spies on afton when he comes up with stealing foxy, and tells the others about afton's plan. the other animatronics don't seem to remember afton (they only know him as phone guy) even though it's been hinted a lot that the animatronics are possessed by afton's victims

- and he also spies on glitch trap when he is torturing springtrap, which could just be trying to help the animatronics, but since glitch trap controls the trash animatronics (including pan stan, who killed mike), it could be an act of revenge.

- following the last one, the puppet knows springtrap weaknesses from watching him be tortured by glitchtrap, and also since mike worked with springtrap while examining him to be a freddy's animatronic, which is why the puppet was the only one who could stop springtrap in the fnaftm super cut night 3.

i really hope the puppet has a bigger part in shadows of agony so we can see this theory play out, and maybe even see him help elizabeth.

i was sitting there picking every reference out and then got thrown off guard by matpats majestic vocals

like let me pick out the specific bite of 83 sound and the many references in the song before being jumpscared by "HELLO HELLOOOO—"

anyways here's my rating:

overall banger song, love the insane amount of references in the song and cg5 just always drops bangers so

but i know yall just want me to rate matpats part and shut up so here it is:

- matpat saying "hello hello" was definetly a ref to fnaftm, and i love you for that cg5

- everyone talked about "lose control" but "good luck" has me ascending

- "got no theory and i got no doubt" i see what you did there

- the autotune does throw me off a bit since im used to raw matt vocals, but both black gryph0n and cg5 use auto tuned effects in their songs so it fits, and he still eats

- even tho it does fit having matt sing his one verse twice since he's more of a cameo singer in this (hinting to ness from the fnaf movie) kinda wished he had more lyrics

- HIGH VOCALS MATPAT LETS GOOOOOO
