Gonna ramble a bit more abt my SB rewrite actually :3 !!

Some screenshots ive already shared but im elaborating on more!

My friends and I talked about why Vanesa would be looking into Fazbear entertainment in the first place and I was thinking she was some sort of detective/investigator for a few years before quitting the job, though once she hears about the new VR game that was being developed on she got interested (+she had heard about the locations a lot when she was younger) & started looking into things which all led to her testing it out (this repeats a few things from the screenshots before but i elaborate on stuff further here;

I'm confused about the So(u)l rewrite a little bit, are you reworking it to be non-fanf? or just non-dca? Or is it to pitch as a publish-able work? If you're going that route will the original stay up when you're looking to publish or will it be deleted?

I’m reworking it to be it’s own original thing, no dca, no fnaf! To pitch as a publishable work, yes! :D

The original fanfiction will stay up, but the so(u)l rewrite will be deleted once it’s published (if I get that far hsfgs)

In your AU who is your all time favorite and why?

Anon, I've been thinking about this for hours, I'm NOT joking, This au has been around since 2018, its a very special thing to me, its gotten me personally through ALOT of shit, and its one of Me and Ricks (@galacticaldisaster) first au's/rewrites we've EVER done together, this au short is SO SO important to me which is why its SO HARD just to choose one character, you feel me? On top of that Rick and I try to implement literally EVERYONE into this au, we Cherry-pick from books, we include EVERYONE from AR, there are GENUINELY so many options!

My favorites bounce around alot due to whoever i'm focusing on developing and the likes but i think i've got a solid tie for #1! and ive got reasons for why its a tie :]!

Chris is my favorite out of all of the characters i've written purely because he makes me very sad, I think i did the best job writing him as a character, hes balanced in the sense that hes a heartbreaking character and yet i think he stays child-like in essence, hes got reason for what he does but he goes about it like a 6 year old would, a very scared 6 year old

Which brings me to my second favorite of all of the characters, Richie. Richie is this au's FNAF 3 Phone dude, I havent really talked about Richie too much, besides the mention from last night. But richie will ALWAYS be on top, mostly because he is the very first character i wrote for this au, WAAAYYY back when i was 15, the very first picture i EVER drew of this au was of Richie Scott, Age 17, Threatening to hit someone with a lightning mcqueen Croc. Richie and Phillip's (@galacticaldisaster s phone guy) whole concept came from a game of Garrys Mod where we were being little idiots and beating the shit out of eachother with fnaf character models! I also just think Richies silly :]

Legally i DO have to give you all my favorite of Ricks characters;

You all obviously know springtrap/william, absolute motherfucker, but RICK. RICK HAS THE AUDACITY, THE G A L L to both turn him into the saddest dad you've EVER met, and the scariest and i mean, SCARIEST William ive ever read. seriously, dudes believe me, Rick's writing for his devolve from a dad/ business man to murderous deranged killer is GENUINELY my favorite, I've seen alot of interps of william, and maybe im a bit biased, But Ricks is my favorite.

Now Phillip is in the same vein of Richie, hes the phone guy and was made during a game of Gmod via rambling, but Phils character and story is genuinely very very :[ i love him, he is my favorite white boy, Phillip my beloved little corporate slave turned Man Fuck This Place >:,[ i wont talk about his story too much, but its sad, and i fucking adore him and will kill for him

an honorable mention for ricks, who i will not be sharing pictures of is Jeremy Fitzgerald, because rick is the ONLY person i know who has implemented the fact jeremy carved his fucking face off and also once again? i love him. hes a FUCKER.

I have two main wips at the moment, so you're getting facts for both >:)

Heirs of Starlight

- it was the result of fifteen-year-old me being bored in class. It started out as little dialogue snippets in the margins of my notebooks lol

- this wip went through some WILD changes. Like it went from zombies and magic to magic royalty. Why? Well because I wrote the first edition on my old phone's notes app, and then that phone broke, so i lost all of that. I tried re-writing it as much as I can (which wasn't much) so it had a total rewrite.

- the title was supposed to be placeholder... but bro i don't think it's a placeholder anymore...

- i literally threw together all my favorite magic tropes and stirred it into a soup in this. Glowing eyes? Check! Emotion-controlled magic? Check! Psychic magic? Check! Horrific possible damages if one puts an effort into it? There's p l e n t y.

- there's some elements of technology infused with magic and mundane magic use and it's the sort of stuff that fascinates me for some reason.

Operation Defiance

- Ren Sims is a character born out of me having the thought of, "Hm.... what would it be like if I have a character with all my sisters' personality combined?" and I'd grown attached to them.

- Confession: this series is partially inspired by late/new-fnaf era... please don't judge me.

- I made a riddle mini-game as the hacking mechanism in this IF. It's not easy but the satisfaction that overcomes me when everything works is insane

- Most of the advanced technology present in this story is eco-friendly. Solar and kinetic energy are especially commonplace.

this one has. multiple answers so i'm just gonna talk about all the aus the animatronic thing applies to, hope that's okay :]

so in lp and rewrite, for the core 5, it's ( mostly ) the usual. gabriel is freddy, susie is chica, jeremy is bonnie, fritz is foxy, etc etc. and then it deviates when you get to golden freddy.

in lp, it's cassidy and evan, like it is ( presumably ) in canon. meanwhile, in rewrite, golden freddy is andrew and kelsey ( the latter of which wasn't killed by rodger but shhh )!! andrew doesn't stick to golden freddy often, if at all, but kelsey does cuz it's part of their whole deal

and then in terms of the puppet, charlie is puppet in lp, and cassidy is puppet in rewrite.

and then in rewrite, the toys are also possessed!! there's a post about them somewhere on my blog, but to summarize ; gilbert is toy freddy, annie is toy chica, calem is toy bonnie, and albert and sylvia are mangle.

and then in most of my other aus it's either the animatronics aren't haunted ( restless + sitcom ( sitcom doesn't even have animatronics ) ) or it's just taking from rewrite ( anything hpsverse ( hps, top, eftp. etc ) )

hpsverse has. a lot, since there's a MUCH larger cast compared to most of my other aus. i'm just gonna go over the more important ones ( aka hps and b-team, but other characters will probably be brought up as i see fit lmao )

so!! ceaser becomes VERY important later on in rewrite because ( as the sheet says ) he's freeing the missing children!! this started all the way back in 93 after the fnaf 1 location closed down, but even before then he knew cassidy and had befriended her back in 87 :]

( for some extra clarification, cassidy is the puppet in rewrite, not golden freddy!! )

after the fnaf 1 location shuts down, the animatronics are scrapped, with puppet left unaccounted for since uhh!! cassidy flees. and she finds her way to ceaser, who takes her in and agrees to help free the missing kids

skip to fnaf 3, and during the fire, ceaser runs into fazbear's fright to grab the masks of the animatronics ( the section that the spirits are tethered to ) and brings them out to try and help each of them be at peace, with it all culminating with the happiest day,,, and one HELL of a bittersweet goodbye between cass and ceaser
