Y'know, since in Help Wanted you play mimi games that apparently and made by a rough developer to cover up what happened, and the mimi games go from FNaF 1-3 (maybe more I haven't played hw), I wonder if the SL levels teased in Help Wanted 2 are also to "cover up" the real story of FNaF. What do you think? Personaly that'd explain a lot considering that the most likely protagonist we are gonna play as in HW2 is Cassie's dad and it wouldn't really make sense if it wasn't a mimi game cuz the last time SL had other workers other than Mike, they Sayoried. + SL takes place somewhere in the 90's and if Cassie's dad is one of those workers, Cassie wouldn't be here rn. Also SB and Ruin takes place in the early- mid 2030's at most.

Actually, in the game you aren't playing the indie dev's games I don't think. You're playing the games Fazbear made 'in response' to his, since they didn't want it to look like they were working with him. If they used his games specifically, that would show they had commissioned him to make them.

I do think we're going to be playing as Cassie's dad yeah. I will say I don't think Cassie's dad was one of the SL technicians though, particularly as I think Sister Location was back in the late 80s lol

So hi, big fan of your work. Too few fics touch on like the whole possession aspect of FNAF, imo. Seriously I swear I’ve seen more time travel fix it fics than like ones that actually attempt to cover the whole ghost aspects of FNAF, which admittedly cannon is not helping.

Anyway, tangent aside, I wanna ask an odd question, both in fic(s) and or generally.

Remember how in like sister location where there was like those two technicians that were hung for no good reason? You know those very important characters that uhhh… got an all of an ‘ok’ from the fandom. Thoughts?

seriously can’t believe how much death matters so little in this franchise, where the main villain is like a mad scientist two kills people over remnant or whatever and yet we get absolutely nothing about his crimes. not even like a concrete number??? like c’mon? it’s like William someone Saturday morning cartoon villian and not an actual horror game villain, thou I suppose that would require Scott to you know write a character that isn’t like rambling about at this point arguably ‘supernatural’ gloop. Like c’mon, can we get more than like ‘I am so evil and smart’ out of William, please.

Oh, thank you so much! And glad to hear it! 8D I can get it though. Possession can be a whole lot to get into. I got lucky enough making a really insanely long fic, but if I would've stuck to only twelve chapters it would've been much harder to handle it.

Though I do LOVE handling it. My favorite part being able to deconstruct where characters end and where the person they used to be starts. There's just so many layers to it! Not to mention the supernatural aspect of how far you can push it.

I will... admit that I haven't thought much about those technicians, but largely because they weren't really given much to think on. XD SL was a pretty short game, but if it HAD been longer, it might've been cool to have more moments where you could overhear the technicians talking. It could've added more context to the situation in the facility and shown the distance and dissonance between Michael and his other workers- I.E. contextually show he's a loner or showing that he is purposefully distancing himself from his co-workers. Or just showing how poorly the whole thing is being managed.

Heck, there could've been a segment where Michael has a conversation over the radio with one of them- a one-sided conversation or recording- that could've also added story context.

I suppose that wasn't required, but it could've given then a little more.

However, I definitely feel there should've been at least one line from Baby that explained why they couldn't use their bodies. Because I've seen people questioning this, and while it could be as simple as 'they wouldn't fit' or more likely 'Baby was targeting who she thought was Afton', the game doesn't specify either.

Really a line such as "It can only be you" or "You are the only one who fits" could've gone a long way.

As for in Home, at least, I actually played around with the idea of bringing the technicians back as animatronics in the future... but then I thought it would be too much of a reach. So instead, we must settle on Michael Afton and that Body we found in the Vent.

And yeah, the death thing bothers me too. >.< BUT the death thing bothers me a lot more with the addition of Remnant not just being metal infused with souls, but also a God material that reanimates and replaces flesh and brings back the dead.

Death willy-nilly causes it to lose impact (Walking Dead lol), but introducing something that ERASES death is hands down the biggest way to lose all stakes in a story. It is a crime against writing, lol.

This might seem weird to say because of how death is treated in Home- where someone may die and become an animatronic- but there's both an absolute death, where one cannot return, AND when someone 'dies' and becomes an animatronic they still have to deal with very serious consequences. Their life is now completely changed; in a way, they have still lost that old life.

But with remnant, there is no drawbacks. There isn't a Death Becomes Her twist where the body still breaks down. As long as you're not made of scrap metal- in which case you just have to carry remnant (a material without a shelf life) around with you- it basically fixes you up like brand-new.

And the fact that it also erases the need for death to explain animatronic creation makes the whole system very wibbly-wobbly. Though I suppose we can take consolation in the fact that so far, remnants application in the games isn't nearly as severe.

In the UCN Au the bullies never left Michael, at least not because they wanted to.

They really cared about each other, and Michael even considered them like his brothers because his family situation wasn't really good, especially after Elizabeth's death.

They absolutely had no intention of harming Evan, and they even simulated the prank with a mannequin to see if it was safe.

But something happened to the animatronic before the party, and the bite force almost doubled in strength (it was William, who wanted to test the animatronic as a possible murder weapon. He didn't know about the prank, so it went just like Elizabeth's accident), killing Evan.

The three bullies were then forced to cut all contacts with Michael after their families skipped town, leaving only the last Afton kid to take the blame for everything.

The Tormentors names were Simon Williams (Chica Mask), Markus "Mark" Brown (Bonnie Mask) and Frederick Jordan (Freddy Mask).

Simon and Mark died together, being the two technicians in SL who were searching for Michael, while Frederick changed his name in "Jeremy Parker" and worked as a Beta Tester for Fnaf VR (he changed his name because he was banned from everything Fazbear’s related bc of the Bite of '83). He was also the last to die

Being that they were never directly part of the accident (Simon and Mark weren't even there, while Frederick died after the start of UCN), they're some of the only people that Michael trusts almost completely, same thing with Terrence

Unlike Michael, they each kept their masks because it was the only connection they had left to Michael and each other. And as hard as the results of the prank had been on them, they knew Michael must have it so much worse. Even as they were forced to move on with their lives, there was always apart of them that worried about Michael and that’s what eventually drew them back to Fazbears and became more victims of William’s madness.

What do you like most about FNaF SL? (I noticed that you are really a Sister Location fan and I have to admit this game is awesome)

I don’t really know specifics… I just really like the atmosphere and characters and designs. It’s so simple but fills the brain with thoughts.

I’ve always liked the characters in fnaf. I’d been around since the first game came out but the SL bots really stuck out to me most. I lost track of fnaf stuff around the third game, and only came back into it after SL was out for maybe a year (and happened to be right before Pizzeria Sim came out).

So something about the Funtimes tickles my brain enough to really get into fnaf. Maybe because they were kind of the first to really have personalities and voices?

I love Circus Baby she is such a cool villain. She is big and scary and cute. She’s big!! I love that she’s giant and is called baby. Wish that were me (my nickname is baby but everyone calls me that cause I’m petite and have baby face with a voice often mistake for a 12 year old. So you can imagine how aspirational Baby is to me).

I love that the characters are so colorful compared to the traditional characters. Really makes it feels apart but still attached. Like Funtime Freddy is so bright and pretty but you appreciate it more looking at hood ol Freddy Fazbear. Who also looks so nice and calm compared to his weird nephew. Can’t appreciate one design without having witnessed the other I feel like.

There’s always a bit of vagueness when it comes to fnaf, this included; but I love the idea that the Funtimes are sentient, and don’t like their treatment nor do they like killing kids (it’s vague if they did other than Baby that one time tho. Technicians and guards don’t count. They don’t care those guys are hurting them after all ;) ) They just wanted to be free and frolic through flowers. Maybe eat a flower.

And Ennard!! So cool… The name, the plan, the body horror. The four (maybe more) robots in a trench coat. The design that perfectly mixes creepy and cute. The idea of them trying to figure out how spoons and ordering their own pizza works. They had Michael run around shirtless for a bit.

These characters were made for me.

Slowburn, and pre-Bite, enemies/rivals to lovers. These are all Isekai plots, meaning my S/I is literally me, just at different points in time, transported to the FNaF universe and having to find a way to make ends meet while trying her best to protect those she cares about.

Pre-Bite: New girl in town joins the nerds at the highschool and gets bullied as a result, always bites back at Michael, the two gain a mutual respect for each other. Things get worse, but she defends his brother from him and helps him when he’s hurt, they slowly gain feelings for each other.

Post-Bite: New girl in town joins the highschool and learns of the local loner, gets warned away from him by others because he ‘killed his brother’. She gives him space but soon starts trying to figure out how to approach him. It’s slow, but he eventually starts to open up to her, and she starts to help him however she can, usually by helping him when he’s hurt or helping him get away from home. The two soon find themselves fighting new feelings for each other.

Fnaf 2-SL: same general plot, coworkers who start off kinda rocky but soon bond over the life threatening experiences of their job, and begin to hangout outside of work, eventually falling in love with each other.

Post-SL: the slowest burn of all. A new person moves into Hurricane, and begins to poke around into the mysteries of the Fazbear franchise, despite the side glances and warnings of locals. Eventually stumbles upon a man wearing a large jacket, covered from head to toe in bandages, who hangs out around old Fazbear locations from time to time. When he learns of her interest in Freddy’s, he tries even harder to push her away, but when things start getting weirder than usual at Freddy’s, he might have to open up and place his trust in someone new for once.

SB: A young woman moves into Hurricane and seeks a job at the local Mega Pizzaplex. Due to a shortage in staff and weird things happening around the star of the show, Freddy Fazbear himself, she ends up getting the job of being his handler and overseer, sharing ‘custody’ of him with his technician. However, as the two bond, she becomes aware of Freddy’s sometimes odd behavior, which only increases as children and adults start to go missing around the Pizzaplex. She ends up using Freddy’s help to investigate, trying to stop the disappearances and help her coworker, the oddly irritable Vanessa.

How did you and your romantic F/O(s) fall in love with each other? Was it love at first sight? Slowburn? Friends to lovers? Did a particular event or moment happen that made someone fall for the other or realize their feelings for the other?

Some Fnaf fans: In Fnaf 2 we see that 5 children die in the Foxy Go! Go! Go! minigame. Since Foxy is still entertaining kids that means this minigame takes place in the location before Fnaf 2. But in the SAVETHEM minigame we see 5 dead bodies in the Fnaf 2 location and we can hear Phone Guy in night 6 how the animatronics aren’t acting right because someone used a yellow suit. This all leads to the theory that there another 5 children getting killed in the Fnaf 2 location. This because in the Fnaf 1 secret newspaper’s we find out that the location before Fnaf 2 closed because the animatronics started to smell bad and because people didn’t want to go to a place that children went missing, Phone Guy in Fnaf 2 literally says that the old animatronics even smelled bad. So that means there’s the original 5 dead children, Charlotte and another set of 5 dead children.

Other Fnaf fans: That’s stupid. If there was another set of dead kids why would Scott never mention them again? Why would Scott make important part of the lore just to never used it again?

Phone Guy, the shadows, the two dead technicians that died in night 5 of SL, the dead children that the Funtime animatronics killed ( remember that there’s a child silhouette in Funtime Freddy stomach in the secret blueprints.), the missing people on the newspaper on that ending of SB and the implied dead guards from Fnaf 1 ( Fnaf 1 night 3 phone call: … Most people don’t last this long. I mean, you know, they usually move on to other things by now. I’m not implying that they died.) : Are we a joke to all of you?

Yeah a lot of people died in the fnaf universe. It's hard to keep track to be honest

Technician 1 - Oliver Rocha. AWOL.

Technician 2 - Morgan Smith. Missing.

Technician 3 - Eggs Benedict. Deceased.

Technical 3, Eggs Benedict, aka Micheal Afton, who was here to find his lost sister, witnessed two technicians hanging by ropes above the stages of the auditoriums.

Technician 2, Morgan Smith, aka Mike Schmidt, who was here to investigate the MCI incidents and see if what happened in August back in his home state has any connection to the one in the origin state, cut himself down from the rope and rushed to check if anyone else was alive.

Technician 1, Oliver Rocha, the only one known by his real name, heard Egg's screams as the man was disemboweled by the scooper, shortly before being cut loose by Morgan.

Oliver told Morgan what he heard. So the two left before the stage's alarms tripped, casting off their nooses along the way, and escaped to the surface via the elevator.

That night they took refuge at the police station to say what they saw at the sister location and sleeping in the waiting room before traveling back across the country, from the place of Origin location to the site of C location, to return to thier homes.

Some say Morgan vanished on the train. Others say it was when officer Burke saw through the fake name and recognised the son of an ally chief in tackling the Freddy's cases. But in photographs taken in November, at C location's New Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, Morgan can still be seen in the rope burn scars around Mike's neck.

Hmm this is by no means serious lol

1. FNaF2, perfect amount of characters to throw you off, plus a few fun mechanics to work with. Also the puppet/marionette. Loved her a lot. I remember the is foxy actually a good guy theory and that was nice. Basically you go in knowing you’re gonna die, a lot, and then you find out that there’s a lot more trouble than you anticipated

2. The fake pizzeria simulator 10/10 would play it as long as I could

3 Fnaf world. Great game, excellent humor, and provides a good challenge and replayability. Not to mention all the great character looks! Do you remember when people thought Funtime foxy was how mangle used to look? I loved every character and tried to grind so hard, (fuck chicas rainbow tho)

4. Probably Fnaf Sister Location. Good lore, good fun times, lots of things to enjoy and adds humor well (plus the show you watch in between shifts?. Amazing) but there’s also a wonderful amount of horror, that an observant player would pick up beyond the usual Jumpscares ( like noticing the technicians or realizing the mask up top is gone.) also lolbit cameo

5. Actual Pizzaria simulator, it’s fun but like. I enjoyed the pizzeria part more than the actual like, Fnaf part. I did enjoy the interview part with the animatronics though, but I’m a sane individual and sell them all and try to get the lobotomy or lore ending before night 5. The true ending is badass though and I quote Henry’s words in my head a lot

6. FNaF 3, fun mechanics, especially drawing out springman with bb laughter. Love the weird ass phantoms. Phone guy though, 20/10 you can tell he’s having a good time unaware I love him so much. Also love the thought that they’d put Mikey in a fur suit or a cosplay if they don’t find anything special before it opens. It’s a bit lackluster besides the him though, especially with only one murderbot but it’s nice

7. Fnaf 1. I enjoy it but also like Fnaf 3 it’s a bit lackluster. But it also started the franchise so that’s cool. I care deeply enough to not have it last tbh, but not much beyond that. Foxy always tries to visit on night one. Doesn’t matter if im playing it on the Xbox, switch, or through help wanted. Love the clingy fox, he Carry’s Fnaf one tbh.

8. Fnaf 4. Really only good imo lore wise. Like I know we’re playing as Mikey there but also like. Where tf did plushtrap come from fuck that noise.

Honestly, I don't think I'm gonna make a part four; simply because I don't know what I'm gonna write for it. Like, yes, I know I'm gonna introduce the Glam-Gang to all of the other 'bots, but I don't know how I'm gonna go about that.

And while I'm being honest, I'm kind of tempted to just do a soft reboot of the series. Like, I kinda just wanna make a collection of connected one-shots where the Reader just deals with the chaos that comes with taking care of 50+ child-possessed robots? If you would like it??

Either way, I'm gonna need some suggestions.

Mike Schmidt and Michael Afton are different people. In fact, they’re cousins! (Michael’s mom Emilia and Mike’s dad Ryan are siblings.)
