hi hi!!! ivlis isn't here sooooo i went ahead and finished this drawing :3 combining the prompts shadow and toy!!! interpreting shadow candy as an actual shadow apparition with spectral energy floating around him... since apparently he's a real supernatural entity that enhabits the restaurant??? i don't know!

amia also finished the animation for lollipop :3 they'll post it whenever!

DAY 9 + 12 + 13 (Hide n Seek, Arcade Games, Factory)

here i decided to catch up by mixing some prompts together. i accidentally deleted my canvas drawing this and im frustrated about it but whatevver i got the final product. didnt turn out too bad i think

DAY 11 - SECURITY GUARD

you guys remember the security guard who the phone guy mentions that brought a wrench and damaged Blank? causing it to start acting weird? and how that guard left the building afterwards and disappeared? the police couldn't find him? yeah so what if i said that's Chancy/Chandler in Songs of Disarray. cause now the guard has a face. wonder why he went crazy then?

i'm almost done with the silent hill 2 remake! just got past the section that inspired our username (the hotel room scene). i drew this in the middle of a break cause i was eating cake and chocolate milk while i left james to stare at angela's knife fir a few minutes (going for in water ending, the same ending i got in the original)

DAY 4 - FAMILY

completely forgot to post this. anyway i'm gonna ramble about what was going through my mind as i was drawing this;

Mary is an older sister who has going through something traumatic, and eventually two of her family members (her brother and later her daughter) also go through something traumatic, all connected by the same "source of trauma" (the Candy's franchises)

one thing i wish the fanbase talked more about is how Mary's trauma has affected her as a person. the FNAF fandom has a lot of discussions about Michael Afton and his trauma of losing his younger siblings, and his family trauma, but from what i've seen not many people talk about how Mary Schmidt goes through something similar.

while he didn't die, Mary's little brother was attacked by the Rat animatronic and it brought back the traumatic memory that Mary had of the Rat actor and the Puppeteer fighting. a memory she repressed, and thus misremembered the events as the Rat being the "bad guy" in the situation (which was why the Rat animatronic attacking her little brother must've reinforced the idea that "The Rat Is Bad" which led to her nightmares)

coming from someone who is an older sibling (and who heavily heavily HEAVILY relates to Michael Afton), i feel for Mary. her brother is now traumatized the same way she is, and honestly? i think she hates herself because it wasn't her.

Survivor's Guilt is what it sounds like. common in people who have PTSD (like me) it's when they feel guilt for surviving a traumatic incident that either didn't kill them, or happened to somebody else. coming out of a traumatic event (surviving) but what what cost? the thoughts of "it should've been me" and "i should've done something" and "i could've prevented this" and "why didn't i speak up then?" and so on and so on.

has anyone ever wondered if Mary thinks this way? how she probably wishes she could turn back time and prevent her brother from being attacked? that she wishes she could switch places with him so that he doesn't have to suffer the same way she already does? do you think he ever wakes up crying from his own nightmares right next door to Mary's bedroom, and she just lays in her own bed wishing she could take his pain away? those are the things i think about. because those are the kind of thoughts that have kept me awake at night, thinking about my own little sisters.

and i'm sure as an adult Mary still feels this way. and i'm sure that when she had Marylin, she swore to herself to keep her daughter safe. she was probably in AGONY when she found out that Marylin snuck into the factory, the VERY SAME factory where Mary had fallen asleep and let two kids be killed. by that same Rat animatronic nonetheless.

that's why my personal headcanon is that after the final night in FNAC 2, Mary comes to save her daughter, and she burns the place down. to put an end to the legacy of the franchise that had traumatized herself, her little brother, and now her only daughter.
