[Mod] Gortash Clothes for Guardian
Gives the Dream Guardian Gortash's clothes.
A few things:
Only works on new games! There's no other way to force an inventory change on the Guardian.
Does not include Gortash's Gauntlet. I was concerned that due to its tie to plot flags, it may cause errors, so I've left this out.
This edits the Equipment.txt file, and so will be incompatible with any mod that also changes that file.
This only will give the Guardian Gortash's clothes. To get him to look like Gortash, you will need a mod like Customizer's Compendium that will give you access to his face and hair model.
Also works on all other races!
Download Here:
INSTALLATION: Put the "Data" folder inside your main Baldur's Date 3 folder. "....Steam\steamapps\common\Baldurs Gate 3"
Exclusive to tumblr/mediafire for right now, may upload to nexusmods at some point.

[Mod] Gortash Stylist Update
Someone requested a closed shirt version of Gortash Stylist. While I was initially hesitant to take away the view of his gorgeous chest, I did think it would be hilarious to release this "Pre-Divorce" edition. I've fixed his laces (as Durge would have) and laced him up a little more. I came around to the idea after thinking this version would be great for pre-losing-Durge and post-losing-Durge comparisons. Internally I'm also calling this the Cover Them Up Slut version.

[MOD] Gortash Stylist Update
A few things this update:
Converted all files to be used with BG3MM instead of loose files. This makes it easier to switch between versions and keeps everything much cleaner.
Added an option to remove the lower part of Gortash's jacket so that it can be combined with any other variation.
Added a "No Top" option to the Cloth of Authority.

[Mod] Gortash Hireling Update
Just released a small update to the Gortash Hireling mod which updates the code to Patch 5 and restores the ability to speak directly to the Hireling. Available for Download on Nexus.
Modder's Note: It seems that Patch 5 added an additional tag for hirelings. I have only worked exclusively with Jacelyn, so I do not know for certain if this is the fix for ALL hirelings, but I resolved the issue of not being able to speak directly to them by adding <attribute id="Object" type="guid" value="6052ef1f-bc50-4dff-968b-8d3a79fddeb7" /> to the RootTemplate.

[MOD] Ring of Sceleritas Fel Transform
A ring which gives you the power to transform yourself and others into Sceleritas Fel.
Unfortunately I don't have the time to turn him into a Summon because it is a little more complex than either a Disguise or Hireling, so I also included a Modder's Resource of his reference codes in case anyone else would like to take a stab at it.

Note
are you in some modding discord or how did you learn to mod bg3? love your mods!
Ah thank you!
I’ve been casually modding since I was a kid, so I walked into it with some basic understanding - but if you’re a true beginner do not fret, it is absolutely possible to learn. That’s not to say you’re going to jump into script creation in a week- but I think one of the most encouraging things I have to offer is that it actually can be really fun to learn how to mod a game.
You have to be ready to do a lot of testing, and sometimes it can get tedious, but really the best way to look at any kind of mod is that it’s just one big puzzle - and by tweaking and testing or trial and error, you’re putting more and more pieces together.
My tip for anyone looking to learn how to mod in the beginning - find a mod that’s similar to what you want to accomplish, and take a look at how they did it. DO NOT COPY THE CODE - that’s what sample mods are for (you can find a bunch of these on nexus by searching either sample or template) - but you can examine it! What does the file structure look like? What vanilla game files were replaced? If it’s code based, compare the code of the mod against the vanilla game’s code and note the differences. Make tweaks line-by-line and see what changes in the game to get a better understanding of the code.
When you’re starting out - it’s great to have a goal in mind - but don’t make it only about the end goal. For example, say I want to change Gortash’s appearance file but I’ve never done that before. If I’m too concentrated on the end result - I get frustrated very quickly when I either don’t understand code or my edits don’t work in the way I thought they should. This could lead me to give up. So, instead, let’s say I know that I want to eventually edit Gortash’s appearance file. So I pull up the correct file and play around with the code. “Oh, this makes the texture disappear if I change this line, oh my game crashes now lol, oh cool that actually DID change his hairstyle - now I know it’s that slot.” It takes longer to accomplish your end goal, but you don’t get frustrated AND you actually learn to UNDERSTAND how to do it so you are able to DO MORE in the long run.
For BG3 specifically, there is the Down By The River discord which offers a lot of good support. I’ve not really personally used it but I know they are a really active community and also a good resource for info!
There’s also the Bg3 Modding Wiki. I have found it a liiiiittle difficult to use its navigation, (some pages are rooted within others and might be a little hard to find). I recommend using the search function to look for a term related to what you’re trying to accomplish.
I also recommend Padme4000’s video tutorials - they definitely helped me get up to speed with certain types of BG3 mods very quickly!

yesss i'd definitely be interested in an orin mod :)
Don't have time to make it all nice for Nexus (will add it there eventually) but here's a quick adjustment of the model:
What it does: Removes the crown from Orin's head. Installation: Drop the "Generated" folder into your Baldurs Gate 3/Data directory.

Had to take some test shots for my burly Gortash mod. It was simply very important that I do this for testing reasons. Yes, so much testing to do. So much.
