Even though we've lost our dearest Lola, we never fail to still pray for everything. For sure Lord made this decision for her as he has a better plan that sometimes takes time. Fluvial Procession 2017

Here is the video I took when Ina was approaching the historic Colgante Bridge which once collapsed and caused tragedy. It is said to have taken the lives of local people in the region. An estimation of 140 lives have perished during the Penafrancia Fluvial Procession in September 16, 1972.

The old structure of the bridge may have been the primary reason why it collapsed. But there were lurking stories and beliefs that is beyond our understanding for why the tragedy happened. Ever since then, it has been a tradition that women are not allowed to join in the fluvial procession. According to the stories that I have heard, There could have been a woman during the fluvial procession and this had angered Ina. So just as before she was to pass the Colgante bridge, it collapsed.
