clarifying really quickly: we won’t use our signoffs all the time (especially if we’re blurry) and tend to only apply them on posts we ourselves make. obviously there will be exceptions

tbh as a trans man* we think more of you people need to understand that male privilege (in the case of transmascs and trans men specifically) is entirely situational and completely relies on how much the people seeing us thinks we’re real men (based on how much we adhere strictly to the concept of an ideal perisex cisgender male within society) and won’t ever be societal on a meaningful broad scale (because guess the fuck what!! SOCIETY IS TRANSPHOBIC AND DOESN’T SEE US AS MEN!!) (honestly i think some of you may have forgotten that. that society is innately transphobic to us and you simply respecting our identities does not translate into automatically having privilege in the wider world but that’s a whole separate can of worms that i’m not going to get into.)

what i’m trying to say is we’re exhausted of being told we wield a privilege that not once in our entire life have we ever held. majority of the time we don’t pass as a man and are strictly seen AND HENCEFORTH TREATED AS A WOMAN (because some of you all also love to conveniently ignore that we STILL FACE MISOGYNY REGARDLESS!)
