Iliad Orchestra AU and I’m thinking very hard about what instruments everyone would be
I am very open to suggestions for who would play what instrument 🙏
#Torn between giving Achilles brass or strings#like he plays the lyre in the Iliad it would make sense to give him like a string instrument#like a harp or violin even#he would def be first chair violinist if that’s the case#but i cannot get the idea of Achilles with a trumpet or french horn out of my head#Ajax plays some massive instrument and Teucer plays a smaller version#like Ajax plays a double bass or cello and Teucer plays a viola or violin#Hector plays the same instrument as Achilles bcs narrative foils makeme insane#Paris strikes me as a woodwind guy idk#but not sax#maybe more like a piccolo lol#I can see Oboe Diomedes and flutist Odysseus and Penelope#or clarinet Penelope i like that too#Agamemnon with a Trombone bcs I said so#menelaus would probably also have a brass instrument maybe like a tuba or a sax#ik i said big ajax might play cello or double bass but i can totally see him playing a tuba bcs of their sheer size#helen would play something elegant and refined like a flute or violin#flutist helen ily#this got long mb guys#iliad#the iliad#deadbaguettesrambles#deadbaguettes AU
