Wednesday Weight-Management Wisdom ⚖️ _____________________________________________ All common knowledge really, but great reminders! - ✳️ DRINK MORE WATER!💧🌊💦 I personally do at least a gallon a day, but a great rule of thumb is 0.5-1oz per pound of bodyweight. There are also water calculators where you can enter not only your weight, but age, activity level, climate, etc.! It all makes a difference! Start on the lower end and work your way up! - ✳️ BE MORE ACTIVE! ⛹🏻‍♀️🏊🏾‍♂️🏋🏽‍♂️🧘🏼‍♀️💃🏼 Take a walk on your lunch break. Start an exercise class with a friend. Get up an hour early to do some cardio. Dance while you clean, clean while you 💃🏼🕺🏻! Add in weight training! Muscles burn calories at rest! - ✳️ SWAP OUT “BAD” CHOICES FOR HEALTHY ONES! Less 🍟🍪🍭 for more 🥦🍳🥗. Find a healthy balance so you don’t feel deprived. Give up one “naughty” habit per week or month even. Kick the soda habit. You’ll hardly miss it if you go in stages. - ✳️ SET GOALS! ✅ If you’re anything like me, you like a good To-Do List to check off because it makes you visualize each accomplishment, BIG or small. 🥇🥈🥉 Nothing too lofty, that you won’t be able to stick to because you’ll set yourself up for failure or binging if you get too crazy. Try a daily/weekly/monthly goal list. If you fail, pick right up where you left off. Get back on the 🐎 #GiddyUp! Told you, you already know this stuff. It’s not rocket science.
