I am bewitched by kimi antonelli. Everyday I'm endeared by him a little more than yesterday. The fact that he didn't know what flirting was, what boomer is and also the fact that our generation is classified as gen z. He loves the idea of zombie apocalypse and believes that he can survive and also unironically had a paper to list down on how to survive zombie apocalypse. He also said he wanted to play with dolphins and said how it must be so fun to play with them but then started to question everything when he was informed that dolphins are cruel. He didn't even trust fluflu when he told him dolphins were actually cruel 😭. Furthermore, his ability to memorise his lap times is so unintentionally cool too. He makes me feel old with his naive unaware self albeit me being younger than him. I absolutely love his "ooo lala" and "eh" in every prema video. I just love him. Cannot wait for him to be in f1. Him and lando interacting would mean so much to me!

Devo confessar que demorei um tanto pra vir te responder porque sempre que eu abria a caixa de asks e me deparava com isso, meu coração amolecia um pouco mais. Primeiro, muito obrigada pelo carinho. Te admiro demais e adoro tuas capas, então receber um elogio desse tamanho significa demais pra mim. Em segundo lugar, suas palavras foram automaticamente registradas em "lembre-se disso, isabela!!!!!", porque teve um período (acho que foi ano passado) em que eu pensei em parar de fazer capas por achar que elas estavam ficando parecidas com as dos demais capistas e serem apenas "mais do mesmo". Acabei tentando mudar um pouco minha forma de editar justamente por isso e até hoje não sei se me agrada (?), mas saber que o meu jeito de fazer as coisas é único significa muito e me faz ter vontade de continuar. Or rather, Taradonna Cove. It’s Tara’s world and we’re all just living in it. Let's meet the main cast!

deBateau household

It had been a long time since Armand last had any luck in the love department, but things have changed recently. He has found a way to soften the hardened heart of Kimberly Cordial, now Kimberly deBateau - yes, Armand has remarried! They tied the knot at the deBateau apartment and no expense was spared in what was the event of the year among Belladonna Cove’s high society. Soon, they welcomed their baby boy Vicente to the world. Vicente is not the only new addition to the family, though. There’s also a four-legged companion named Fluflu, once a stray dog. Neither Armand nor Tara could resist such cuteness! Speaking of, where is Tara, our supposed main character? She has grown quite close to Justin Cleveland, who she had been helping with his studies, and the two became best friends. Best friends was all Tara wanted to be, Justin on the other hand… Their friendship took a big, big hit when, just before leaving for university, Justin made his move - and was promptly rejected. The “Kiss Debacle”, as Justin calls it, unfortunately meant it was best for the two to go their separate ways, at least for a while they settle at Sim State University, and ruined their plans to share a house. Much to her disliking, Tara moved into a dorm. Going to the same university with your best friend was supposed to be a great experience, but it turned into a complete disaster.

Cleveland household

It’s best we hear Justin’s side too. All his life his parents had put immense pressure on him. All he wants is to be a normal teenager, have fun, have friends, fall in love, instead he has to study, study, study and the military isn’t helping, either. Tara is the only person that makes him feel happy. When she is around it’s like he goes on a vacation from his life to a paradise world. He wanted to tell her how he felt, but he was too shy and let it drag on and on until they almost went to university. Both of them would enrol at Sim State and the plan was to share a rental house. He thought being housemates would just make it more and more weird and complicated, so he found the courage to kiss her just as school was ending. However, we already know the outcome. Off to a different dorm it is. It’s best not to be too harsh on Justin, though. It’s not like he ever had a proper example of what a relationship is. He knows his parents’ relationship is a sham, they don’t like each other, they aren’t affectionate, it’s all to keep appearances. The Marissa Cleveland, daughter of Kenneth and Leandra Rutherford, could not be seen having anything other than a traditional family, and definitely could not be seen having midnight escapades with Jessica Peterson. A Rutherford in a same-sex relationship would be bad enough, in a same-sex relationship with Jessica Peterson?! That would be their demise. Thus they keep their relationship locked behind closed doors. Multiple closed doors, in fact, they cannot under any circumstances be seen together. Her “husband” Jason is also free to explore his own homosexuality (well, as free as a bearding marriage allows) and has found a more or less committed partner in Joaquim Noto.

This is FluFlu. She (yes, I'm assuming her gender) is keeping me company, while I'm down with something the tests claim is not covid.

It's a common cold, I guess. And I'm hanging out with a common house fly. Fitting.

The thing is, she's agile. And noisy. So I'm having an ongoing conversation with myself about whether I should just kill her or not.

So far she's still here. Mostly because in my heart of hearts I know that I'm just not fast enough at the moment.

Magical Apocalypse: A Lesson In Mascot Biology

Holly wanted to feed the thing, but she didn’t know what it would take.

She mulled over her options. The pack of chocobos Stacey had given her during class? It could be poisonous to... whatever the thing was.

Ok. Well then. How about the sandwich her mother had made, a blend of tuna and chicken?

Nah. It wouldn’t like that.

The thing was floating above her head, a big smile plastered on its plastic face. Tiny wings fluttered. Each flap sent even more sparkles down.

It was a pink cloud.

“What’s up, chu?”

A talking pink cloud.

Holly chuckled, then pretended to think long and hard for a reply.

“You.”

The thing was silent. A confusing silence fell upon the two. Not exactly awkward, but still unpleasant.

Holly almost apologized to it. Only—

“Ipipipipipipipip,” it squeaked, rolling over and over. It took Holly a second to realize that the thing was laughing.

She went back to thinking. She didn’t have any more things to give it.

Not even any crumbs.

“I’m sorry. I’m sure you’re hungry, but I don’t have any food to—“

“Oh, don’t worry about Fluflu, chu!”

It did another flip.

“Mascots don’t need to eat, chu!”

Holly looked at the thing, cheeks growing warm. She didn’t care if she missed the meteor shower. The Phloxes would resume the show sooner than later.

“What do you mean, ‘mascots’?”

The thing, whose name was apparently Fluflu, floated down to about eye-level. It blinked in confusion.

“You don’t know, chu?”

Holly shook her head. She started getting a gnawing ache, a growing vine of fear, in her stomach.

Whatever ‘mascots’ were, they didn’t follow the rules of basic biology. Every living thing needs to eat. Has to. Energy is gained through the nutrients consumed.

And Fluflu was especially energetic. So, it would have to consume a considerable amount of nutrients.

Unless...

“Are mascots... are you... an alien?”

“Nope, chu! Fluflu is waiting for a friend, chu!”
