I'm starting a Mourn Watch background soon and I've been thinking about this. I appreciate the list of questions you made and the ask! (https://www.tumblr.com/fluffymabari/766493811910262784?source=share) 10.) Does Rook know their history? Do they know of the HoF, Hawke, the Inquisitor? Rook was very interested in history and has a general knowledge of things that have happened. Probably some misinformation picked up here and there though, especially about the Inquisitor. Varric cleared a lot of things up for her. 11.) Does Rook keep up with current events? (How aware of the situation are they at the start of the game?) She didn't keep up with current events while in the Mourn Watch, as she was always more focused on the dead, but after working with Varric she tries to learn everything she can to help. 12.) Does Rook have any family? Do they keep in touch?

My headcanon is that Rook has no family, after being abandoned in the Necropolis, other than the necromancers who raised her. She does keep in touch with them and regards them as family. She also visits the undead on the anniversary of the day they found her and has a small celebration with them.

Modern AU Oneshot featuring Sirra Brosca and Alistair. Zevran is also a key player in this spicy fic. Read it, if you haven’t already! Rated M for schmexyness!

Sirra smirked as she flicked her wrist, finishing the wing of her eyeliner. While it dried down, she smudged the dark eyeshadow along her lower lid, enhancing the smoky effect. Pulling out a small box of false lashes from her purse, she tapped her manicured nails against the plastic, trying to decide if she wanted to bother with them.

A warm chuckle sounded behind her and Sirra’s smile widened as Zevran sauntered into the makeup room. He cocked an eyebrow at her, plucking the box from her hands and placing it in her bag.

“My lovely Sirra, you do not need them. You already have lashes for days, cara.”

“Your instructions for today were ‘dark and sultry.’ It’s not much to go on, Zev, so I grabbed a little of everything. What color should I go with for my lips?”

Peering at her critically, he gently lifted her head under the garish light, his gaze flickering across her face as he considered the options. “Best go with a lip stain so it does not wear off. Keep them as natural as possible - a subtle pink or warm peach. Nothing dark, no red.”

“I have a peach stain,” she replied. “Any piercings you don’t want for this?”

He tilted his head from a few angles. “Normally I would say leave them all, but today we don’t need the lip or eyebrow rings.” She nodded and quickly removed the requested jewelry, keeping the simple gold hoop and filigree septum in her nose and the myriad cartilage piercings in her ears.

“Molto bene, cara mia. Be ready in ten minutes. The other model is arriving soon and I want to get started on this shoot,” he called as he exited the room. Sirra shook her head lightly as she rummaged through her makeup kit for the lip stain.

She startled when Zevran reappeared a few moments later with an outfit. Draping the strappy black fabric along her chair, he smirked at her in the mirror’s reflection. “Lingerie shoot, Sirra. Did I forget to mention that?”

Sirra narrowed her eyes in annoyance, currently unable to spout off how she felt about it while the sticky stain dried on her lips. He tapped his watch as he sashayed out of the room, and Sirra suppressed the urge to smack him.

Her agency was aware she worked with Zevran because he was the sole photographer she was comfortable around. The elf respected and appreciated her fuller figure, and her various tattoos and piercings. He was also careful who he paired her with in partnered shoots. Going out of his way to make sure they not only fit the particular aesthetic he was trying to capture, but would make her feel secure.

Fenris x Hawke, I try to romance other people in each play through, I really do, but I can’t stop my heart from running to Fenris

I have actually started re-reading the Dragon Age books! So I finished Stolen Throne last night, and I’m starting The Calling today!! I recently finished Dan Brown’s  ‘Origin’ and that was an incredible read, for anyone who hasn’t looked at the Dan Brown series I would definitely recommend them!! Or Chris Kuzneski’s ‘David and Payne’ series! Ah I have too many books and love them all to choose just one to recommend!!

Currently watching: 

Blood and Water, its a relatively new series (I think) on Netflix and woah its so good! Really captivating from the first episode! That and Brooklyn 99, I’m late to the game I know haha

Currently consuming:

I’m replaying through all of the DA games so I have a lot of time to fall back in love with the series! I’m halfway through DA2 at the moment and I’m just as hooked as ever 

Food I’m craving right now:

Mac n’ cheese, but with spicy cheese, there is nothing better in this world than thick mac n’ cheese 😍

Are you staying home from work/school?                                                     

Yes! We have a shelter in place order county wide! So I haven’t been to school or work for the past.... probably 3/4 weeks now? CA put that order forward super quickly so it has been a looong run.

If you are staying home, who is with you?                                                         Just me, my younger brother, my mom, and my dad.

Are you a homebody?                                                                                     

I definitely have been for the past two years as I was grinding school/work with no real big social circle, but now that I am looking to transfer to a 4 year university in the next week I had gotten all my going out spirit on!! It’s a bummer, but I’m glad to help protect others by staying home.

An event you were looking forward to that got cancelled?                             Ugh lol. BTS concert. Won the raffle, all my friends got tickets, and then boom. Hopefully they reschedule for June or something!! It was such a once in a lifetime opportunity.

What movies have you watched recently?                                                         I’m not a big movie person, but my dad and I have been binging a lot of classic flicks, like Vertigo and another Alfred Hitchcock movie I can’t quite remember.

What shows are you watching?                                                                           Kim’s Convenience! Perry Mason, Community, The Office, Parks and Rec, BONES!! I like any comedy as well as mysteries.
