i love the idea of the gods as a people with their own language though. i feel like their having a language of their own emphasises their distance from humanity > some things are hard to translate from one language to the other and the impression i get from a lot of myths is that their entire existence is imagined as hard to translate into human terms...seems very right that they have their own words.

Hey all, So due to a COMPLETE Flu brain communication breakdown..... Des Moines New Age Shop will be opening at 4pm today. We will be open from 4pm to 7pm today. I've been watching Utena bc I've never seen more than a few episodes and i figured maybe with my powers of flubrain i could make some kind of sense of this bonkers anime

I have many scattered thoughts on color symbolism and clothing symbolism but something just occured to me

When drawing the Sword of Dios, the Champion asks to be granted the power to revolutionize the world, making it something external

A strongly emphasized (and maybe repeated?) line in the op is 'take my revolution.' This suggests the power to revolutionize the world is something internal.

Also Touga is gross and I am looking forward to seeing Utena yeet him off the edge of the arena, never to be seen again because he's dead.
