I'm having so many feelings about Sirius and Narcissa they are PERFECT in the worst of ways and my brain is BUZZING with thoughts that I can't articulate but !! They're so similar in such frustrating ways, destined to understand each other better than anyone else and yet forever be angry about each other's choices and use this deep understanding of each other to hurt and make things worse.

Just. Ugh. I love them.

So I have this sort of Headcanon that Lily bonds with Sirius and Remus over different things like

With Remus

Sharing their favourite books and storys

Keeping each other company in the library

Tea, Chocolate and books in front of the fireplace while James and Sirius are at the Quidditch practice sometimes with Peter joining

Laughing their asses of when some of James and Sirius pranks backfired and they have to face the consequences or are yelled at by McGonagall (I mean we all know that Remus is the mastermind behind the not being catches part of the most of the marauders pranks)

bonding over their two favourite idiots

saving James and Sirius from dentention

studying together

preventing James and Sirius from failing their classes, they both not stupid, but they need to sort out their priorities sometimes

With Sirius

A silent understanding of being an outcast in the own family

A silent understanding of being viewed as less valuable by people they care about

Sirius beeing there for Lily as Snape betrayed her

Petunia thinking that Lily had a black dog, because every time Lily visits she is acompanied by one

Lily making sure that Sirius is never left alone as Regulus disappears

Lily and Sirius trying new eyeliner and other make up out together

getting ready toghether for dates and parties

And Remus knowing there is shit to happen when Lily starts with "Sirius honey"

Remus: no

Lily: I'm not talking to you

Ok but can we talk about Sirius and Lily's friendship???

Hear me out, I know people usually "group" James and Sirius, and Lily and Remus, which is awesome, I love these friendships but come on... Lily and Sirius would be sooooooooo cute!!!

Of course Sirius would teach Lily how to do her makeup (better)! And they would get ready together and share products and tips.

And Lily is totally a dog person so she'd love to take Padfoot out for walks in the park when he's restless/anxious.

Sirius absolutely borrows Lily's clothes (with or without her permission). He even makes James get her dresses he likes as gifts so he can wear them later.

Sirius and Lily are the best drinking buddies to each other! They're both prone to embarass themselves dancing and falling on their faces, and it's better if they get to do it together.

When Lily finds out she's pregnant she tells Sirius first so she can practice before telling James.

Sirius 100% was Lily's date to Petunia's wedding to capitalize on his ability to piss everyone off (even more than James).
