How Sunset Designs Started

My 1st shop on Etsy started when my sister saw the Halloween wreath I made for myself in 2023. She thought it was pretty awesome and encouraged me to start selling on Etsy. I started in Spring 2024 with some Seasonal and Themed wreaths, but then in the Summer of 2024 I really found my niche with Coastal Art! I started making shadow box frames with beach photography and real seashells and tumbled glass to resemble sea glass. I also now make glass art such as mermaids in the shadow box frames with shells.

I do have some other themed shadow boxes such as gnomes and Halloween. Halloween is my absolute favorite and I have great fun making those! Since goth decor is so different from coastal, I opened a 2nd Etsy store in November 2024 just for Halloween dioramas.
