many dates do you think it took for Buck to reveal his flightradar24 premium subscription because I think it’s none, he definitely whipped that baby out during the harbour tour and asked Tommy about everything in the air right then. And that’s probably the first time Tommy thought about proposing to Buck.

turns out all i needed to feel like i could function again was a nice hangout with a friend where we drank pints and watched planes landing while the sun set & then to switch jobs on near-total impulse the next morning. Girl who is going to be writing again any minute now

I think there should be certain hours of the day where propeller driven planes aren't allowed to fly. As in illegal. ESPECIALLY over residential areas.

(yet again the horrid dual propeller plane is flying over my house at 2am. Loudly.)

as you especially know: planes are cool as hell. which is really reason enough to like the aerialbots but ive always been fascinated with concordes since i was a little kid of of Course silverbolt was going to immediately shoot up to my All Time Favorites list as soon as i saw him (the other day one of my moms said she was surprised there wasnt a concorde tf bc thatd be right up my alley and i was like!!!!!! oh but there is!!!!!!!! and i love him!!!!)

and sidenote to ⬆️ that is that. ive always found planes SO COOL but i didnt rly know how to get started like, learning more?? abt them?? and apparently the answer to that was just to get really into transformers LOL

but also the fact that the aerialbots are like. the autobots bratty teen kids is so fun to me. slingshot especially but the way they all thought the decepticons are So Cool and what are we even doing caring about humans when those other guys can fly too isnt that awesome!!! is so fun. and really shows that like, they dont get it! the war isnt their fight, they were just kinda tossed into it without explanation. the fact that it wasnt just a regular g1 one-and-done plot point rly made them feel more interesting as characters too, since it took literal time travel to change their minds.

(plus silverbolts snark towards the others is a rly nice touch of character for him. hes not just a dweeb thats afraid of heights!)

also Also combiners and their teams are just some of the most fascinating parts of transformers. but like the aerialbots honestly have a lot in common with the stunticons despite being bitter rivals and literally made to fight each other? and the difference in how superion handles the chaos of his components vs how menasor does? love that. plus just within the autobots teams, im rly disappointed that the aerialbots and protectobots havent rly done much together in canon bc the vibes are So different and id love to see how theyd mesh

idk theyre Neat i love every one of them individually and i love them together and i cant ever even pick a Most Favorite Aerialbot bc it changes every week. theyre so much fun

Just heard a MASSIVE jet sound over my house, and I know it's not a commercial one because you can check in Flightradar, so it's likely the airforce, the thing is Argentina has like, 12 jets, so it's strange they're over my house right now what are they doing

A nicer one is I also think that Tommy has that FlightRadar app on his phone and is always checking it when he sees a plane or helicopter overhead.

It drove Buck nuts at first, as he saw how it took Tommy's attention regardless of what they were doing. He ended up downloading it himself (and also got addicted).

it's so sweet but now i kinda want to make this:

Buck uses it to check ont Tommy when he knows he should be on shift. and when Buck is ina car crush he hears the helicopter he carefylly opens the app to check and yeah it seems like Air Ops were called to his crash, but he doesn't stay consious enough to see that it is Tommy who came for him

at the pub with a mate and we're sat somewhere that's obviously on the flight path into manc airport because planes keep flying super low every five minutes and this is the best thing that's happened to either of us
