Vacuum Cleaners Are Allowed on Flights or Not in 2024? Regulations
You can take your Dyson vacuum while traveling on flights in both carry-on and checked bags if they meet the size regulations and battery guidelines of the particular airline and the aviation authorities.

If you are carrying a Dyson robot vacuum with removable lithium-ion batteries try keeping it in carry-on baggage and don’t forget to  properly pack your vacuum cleaner to avoid it from any potential damage.

I have one day of work before i fly out tomorrow which is a bit awkward but at least im scheduled in TSA today so if they keep me there it'll be a quiet chill day. We dont have a ton of direct flights to the states and theyre all small and medium sized except for vegas, so everyone loves working our TSA checkpoint and i got all the american certifications specifically so i'd be scheduled there a lot. And like i said americans are way better as passengers than canadians are generally so im unlikely to encounter a karen today. But now that i said that im gonna get like 12 arent i

"When I eventually got my Autism diagnosis, I learned that the standard human goes through a “pruning” process during their nervous system development (from birth to mid-20s) where their brain eliminates extra synapses, but studies have shown that Autistic people don’t prune as many, ending up with excess synapses. (A new theory is that the lack of pruning is the cause behind many brain-related conditions.) Coming to the realization that my brain & body are wired in a way that causes me to become overstimulated and dysregulated more than the average person, I was intrigued when I started seeing information about the Vagus Nerve and Polyvagal Theory."

Life with bpd, unhealed trauma is a hell of a drug. Like.. ?? I want to be finally free and I know what to do even but it's so difficult for me to relax and to do my dbt and somatic experiencing exercises. Im in functional freeze and Im just bed rotting, doom scrolling and when Im not in functional freeze Im in fight/flight filled with anger and stress but I can't release it.

I've been writing more again recently and I've been rereading some of my old stuff and I kinda wanna share some of it. But first,
I'd also have to come up with a tag for them so they're all searchable (to the extent that you can search tags on tumblr)
Here's a cute bat for your time

I really hate how people treat and think about flight attendants. Without getting into the sexism and misogyny of it all, people fundamentally misunderstand their jobs. Flight attendants are not only custom service professionals who serve food and drink. They are first responders. They are trained to fight fires, administer emergency first aid, deal with combative passengers, and help people evacuate the plane. They have a much more dangerous job than police officers—look at their rate of injury and compare that across other private industry. Their job is complex and dangerous and they deserve your respect.

i don't know how to react like a normal person. why can't i fight or flight or freeze. why do i fawn, even with my friends? they're not threats. they won't hurt me. why do i put my spine away and roll over for them at the slightest hint of conflict?
when can i stop being that scared little kid?
