Factor XI is a rare clotting disorder that affects about 1 in 100,000 people worldwide. It’s caused by a mutation in the F11 gene. It’s also known as hemophilia C. (TS has 11 helmets for the car for Indy, she has 11 albums…)

Signs and symptoms of factor 11 are frequent nosebleeds, easy bruising, bleeding under the skin, bleeding of the gums, prolonged bleeding after childbirth, prolonged menstrual bleeding.
