Alright, yknow what, consider this ask an excuse to ramble about some of your OCs if you feel like it. I know you have some! Who are they!!!

Aaaah I’d love to (also this sounds like a stick up lol)

Here’s Hok’ee, a singer/guitarist for him and his friends’ band the Witch King of New Mexico (also tortoise monitor to pay the bills), who got smacked with a curse by an abusive ex (who was basically part of an American Fae political family) and while he can go between critter form and his human form by help of his witchy friends (long story short they unintentionally got fae like powers), he’s trying to figure out what to do with his curse.

Then there’s his brother Jim (with the red hat), lead rhythm guitarist/singer/dad friend, and Andrew, bassist/Hok’ee’s best friend/Jim’s partner/absolute goblin, who try to help out Hok’ee while also dealing with weird fantasy nonsense that won’t leave them alone

The fourth in their band is Shan, drummer/singer/best friend to Jim/part of the witchy thruple, who pretty much helps Hok’ee stay off grid and can receive visions based on what teas they drink/how strong they are

I have so many more but one I love talking about is one of the creatures that teams up with them, Eerie the puka/boggart, who is a shapeshifter that entered human society a la glam metal and is even more of a menace than Andrew

And when they meet Andrew and Jim they’re basically all “your my bfs now no take-backsies”

I should stop there but I could go on if you’d like!

Okay, so, I want to paint a picture for you.

It's 1985. You're not allowed to watch TV on Saturday because of complex religious reasons, so you get Sunday morning cartoons.

So you find this weird French cartoon on Nickelodeon called Spartakus and the Sun Beneath the Sea. It's your He-Man (see above complex reasons).

And it has two dancing pangolins (you thought they were armadillos at the time because you're from the midwest) that are actually thousands-upon-thousands-of-years-old cyborgs from an underground kingdom of legless people that bounce along on spherical asses.

You try and tell people about this show, both at the time, and throughout your life thereafter, with the patchy memory of an 8 year old.

Most families didn't have cable in 85.

It didn't go well. It was not slogbical

So now you all get to bear witness. You all must behold...

Last Movie: Robin Hood, the Disney movie. I was hitted by nostalgia yesterday, and couldn’t help myself to take a new look at that movie I watched so many times as a kid. I wasn’t disappointed. ♥️

Last TV Show: Castlevania Nocturne season 2. I watched it with my gf last day and it was decent, for what I have to say. Nice but not my fav show.
