‘ ah! just the woman i was looking for, ‘ there’s a spring in his step --- he can’t help it, he hasn’t been this nervous or excited in years --- as he steps into the room. the building hasn’t been finished ( skyhold seems to always be a work in progress ), but the crumbled brick ceiling allows a divine spot to sit in the sun without being overwhelmed by the weather. the ring in his pocket feels like it’s going to burn into his skin.
