My height is 173cm and I am a Virgo ♍️

The other day, I went to the hairdressers for the first time in 3 years 😂 my mum usually cuts my hair every few months (no need to pay haha). She cuts 1-2 inches off the bottom and trims my curtain fringe a bit every time. I have a kind of wolf cut now, not too far off my usual style, but still, a bit different.

Binge-playing the sims is really hard for me because I get distracted easily and PROCRASTINATION 🙃. Mostly I play during the weekend to destress from life, but it was a few hours at a time. It was like a personal record posting daily and that was when I was really into it!!! I think I would be posting a lot more if not for this, plus I had several burnouts/breaks throughout the years. Playing two legacies really helped my motivation and it also kept my simblr alive 👍

Continuing from the previous! I'm a perfectionist and I'm really picky with my posts. 2-3 hours would be waiting for the game to load, letting the game do its thing for a bit, setting out scenes, then taking the pics. It's like making a movie 🎬 And that would only result in one post (no editing yet). I'd have planned what I wanted to do that day and written all my text/dialogue as I feel I don't want to play if idk what I'm doing.

I'm very clumsy!!!! The amount of times I have walked into something or banged my foot. This is TMI but I have broken my big toenails more than once lmao one time it was from playing basketball (I'm no good at it…and I was wearing sandals) and I dribbled it on my toe 😞

I have had bad acne in the past and have tried so many products to help with my skincare. My skin is a lot better now and mainly acne scars remain. Also drinking milk makes me break out and I didn't know it was a trigger back then. I have soya milk instead and it tastes just as good in tea (I love drinking tea).

I get motion sickness when playing particular games. I used to be fine, but one day I played COD with my brother and just couldn't handle the first-person view I was SICK 😵‍💫 I prefer third-person view in any game, but I still get dizzy if playing for too long. Sims is great because it's like GOD PERSON VIEW 😂 With games, I don't really play a lot now and sims is the only one!

I had no fizzy drinks for 5 years one time!!! I thought "let's see how long I can hold out for". During my first year of uni, I had a really bad flu and nothing helped. My mum told me to boil coke and ginger together (it's an old Chinese remedy lol) and it helped like MAGIC 🤩 There went my 5 years of cutting it out and now I drink it sometimes!

I was close to studying architecture at uni. I studied computer science and 3d design at A level, but was unsure of an artsy route or technical one. I loved both and I knew I wanted to do something with maths. In the end, I went with engineering because it had more opportunities with me still being able to program (thanks to robotics and electrical modules), design stuff (with CAD) and lots more 😊 IG that's why I live my architecture dreams through building in sims!! Speaking of...

I HAVE 🎓GRADUATED🎓 (graduation ceremony was the other day 🤭). The final year was really tough for me but I can't believe I have completed my undergraduate studies!!!

Struck by Love Gen 8.5 : Last Chance at Liam’s Lake House

At the end of Summer, Liam Beckett some of the club members out to his family lake house as one last hurrah.

Kendra: I’m so glad your mom let you go on vacation with us.

Edward: well I am a young adult now, so not much she can really say…

Kendra: you’re gonna meet so many new sims. Maybe find someone you like…

Helena: *thinking * oh honey…

In the house there was plenty of Fizzy juice around , three bedrooms, a dance floor and a ping pong table. Kendra and her sister took a moment to hang out in the kitchen.

Helena: Why are you trying to play matchmaker for Edward?

Kendra: I just think it’ll be good for him to make more friends and maybe find someone he likes. If he’s with me all the time, people might think he’s taken and I don’t want to be holding him back from finding true love.

Helena: that is the most ridiculous thing I ever heard. He follows you around like a golden retriever. He likes you.

Kendra: if he does it only because I’m the only girl he’s ever socialized with. I’m going to find him right now.

Helena: and here I thought you were supposed to be self assured.

Kendra found Edward out on the patio.

Kendra: So as far as girls go, besides Helena and me here, There’s also Jewel Kay-Fogel and Frances Campos. I can introduce you to one of them if you want

Edward: As long as you don’t try to hook me up with them. They’re not really my type…

Kendra: How do you know?

Edward: Because my type is you! Golden- haired, oblivious, horse-girl, you!

Not knowing what to say, Kendra ignored Edward calling after her and grabbed one of the fizzy drinks, in the living room, not bothering to see what flavor it was and took a swig.

Don’t judge, Jewel. Basemental isn’t installed, so it’s basically bottled Le Croix/Kombucha.

Dammit. Sometimes it really is more fun to mod Sims than play it.

Years ago, I played a bachelor party and loved it. This time, nobody is showing up, and the adorable, "Spray with Fizzy Nectar" interaction is missing. I don't think "Ask to Give Speech" is there either. Do I have a mod that is messing with situation-specific interactions? Argh.

Also, the dancer walked in to a spacious room and declared that he couldn't put down his stereo so he couldn't dance. WTF surface does he need for that??

I'm stubborn enough to start pulling out mods to see if I can get those interactions back. Grrr.

This is supposed to be the easy stuff.

ETA: The dancer appears to need a table to put his/her stereo on. I'm not sure why it can't just be put on the floor. Though there were tables in the other venue, so 🤷‍♀️.

But right after the dancer started dancing this time, I got a notification that nobody had come to the party, and it ended. Except there were at least 5 sims at the party. So maybe I'm not getting the specialized interactions because the game doesn't think the party is actually happening? Dur.

I know I can't be the only one to think "okay, canonically, what room are we in?" when a level is played, Arts in crafts, salon, DJ Music man, Bonnie Bowl, Cold Storage, Fizzy Faz/Food Prep, Endo Warehouse, And Captain Foxy's Log Ride, are pretty easy to assume where they are, they probably all take place sporadically around the PizzaPlex, with Bonk' A' Bon and First Aid probably taking place in a backroom/storage room and some other room down below in the Pizza Sim area respectively, Which leaves Fazerblast, Carousel, and the entirety of the Sister Location levels elsewhere lol

SOOOO uhhhhh something something what if the reason why Jeremy somehow is in the areas of Sister location with the Funtimes even though its technically impossible considering Scrap Baby, Molten Freddy, Ennard, ect, is because of all of the residual remnant within the Pizza Sim area causing him to experience memories from Michael, which is why we see stuff like Ballora Gallery, SL Custom Night, Office Job: Interview, ect, like maybe this could explain the fall fest levels with Carnie, because then the player'd be tapping into Henry's memories, be it his experience at Fall Fest or just his recollection of Carnie/Lefty, Or maybe its not even Henry, maybe its just a cycle of that one plot of land having so much stuff happen to it, like what if before there was Fredbear's there, the Fall Fest was also held on/near that plot of land? So maybe it could function similarly to the ITP Ballpit where the memories/agony/remnant/experiences in, around, or near it can transport someone in a memory or, "Back in time"?

The Sims: Parties!

Kaido and Aiura are getting married :') so I thought I would share some moments from Kaido's bachelor party and Aiura's bachelorette party.

At Mikoto's party, unfortunately, someone died. She was a very old alien - in fact I think it was the alien who abducted Saiki that one time - but yeah that kind of spoiled the mood a bit.

Chiyo looking a little apprehensive lmao.. also I wonder why the grim reaper is thinking about Kusuke? Could it be an omen?

However, they didn't let that spoil the night! Chiyo had a very nice romantic dance with Nendou, and he gave her some flowers. (That's Aiura next to them btw, she was trying out black hair for a bit)

Also have this picture of Teruhashi spraying Akechi with "fizzy nectar" lmao - at least he seems to be having a good time

And now onto Kaido's party!

so, coincidentally, Kaido's party landed on a full moon, which meant he was in his werewolf form for the entire thing. I don't know why h changed into a pair of alien-patterned boxers but I guess the party spirit works in mysterious ways.

Kaido ended up getting sleepy and going to bed quite early on which I think is hilariously in-character lol. He wanted to party all night and be cool but he got eepy :(

while the others kept dancing in this little huddle in the corner of the room like a bunch of weirdos. The one in the blue suit is Satou btw - he's a werewolf too. Just after this Saiki got to have a nice long conversation with him which I'm sure he appreciated.

Also the day after all the partying Aiura was just walking around butt-naked which, while I think it's in-character, isn't something I thought you could do on the sims? Anyway.

I'm getting low-key emotional over these guys. I've been playing them since they were teenagers, and now they're adults and two of them are getting married...

Like so much has happened and they've all changed so much :')

Kaido has gained so much confidence from being with Aiura (when he aged up he developed the "party animal" trait which I like to think was her influence). Saiki's died and been brought back to life, and now he's temporarily moved out of the household to take a break from everything for a bit - I dunno, these little pixel people are just very dear to me. Soon Aiura and Kaido might have a child, and then everything will change...

When I became an active simblr two years ago, I started out my blog by sharing an edit I made of the League of Adventurers club which is comprised of Lucas Munch, Elsa Bjergsen, Alexander Goth, and Max Villareal in my game. This one edit prompted me to show them as teens shortly after because (1) they were in that life stage in the save I was playing at the time anyway and (2) because they were (still are) integral to my original legacy family story. They were the first real "townie makeovers" I ever did with the intention of being publicly shared and I spent a lot of time making them over to match how I saw them in my head. Since then, however, I have developed a sim style that I'm much happier with. That's why I've decided to go back into CAS and update them to suit my current style.

I wanted to start with my sweet sunshine, Lucas Munch! I felt like she needed the least amount of "fixing" and, tbh, I love dressing her up more than the others lmao. She's a beautiful, 6'0 tall, transfem girl who loves animals, gardening, origami, watercolor, photography, sparkling fizzy juices, gummy candies, cozy sweaters, funky earrings, animal crossing (and her 5-star island ofc), experimenting with makeup, and mean boys with daddy issues (apparently).

It's not a done deal with me until I have made a character sim save. 😅 I've been itching to start a Caligator save, and I have realized that I don't have near enough masculine clothes. My male clothes folder is either period dress or David Bowie's closet, with the middle ground being everyday basics lol. I think I found like one camo top. @robthegoodfellow called Gator's fit nazi chic and it's so true.

Also, I am just thinking about the fact that I have been playing sims since I was a little girl. Everybody, real or fiction, who I have ever loved has been a sim at some point. I have a sims 2 legacy save that currently stars the descendants of me and my childhood besties. Haven't touched it in ages but there's something about knowing it's there.

Anyway I need to figure out a good storyline for the save.

-->After that, the true chores of the day could begin – starting with Alice getting her bake on! I had her start by using the sweet batter she already had on hand to make strawberry fizz cupcakes, then had her make some more sweet batter in the stand mixer before using some leftover dough on a blueberry pie. While she was cooking, Smiler came back from the dump and Victor finished up his upgrade, so I sent them both to tend to the greenhouse – unfortunately, that one dahlia flower was still glitched-weedy, and Smiler kept getting stuck in a weeding loop every time they went near it. >( Meeh. I had them and Victor do what they could for the other plants (just a bit of watering and weeding of those plants that COULD be cleared) – Victor ended up finishing first, and I decided he could be the one to feed the chickens and clean the coop today. I know he’s usually the plant guy, but it does everyone good to switch things around sometimes! Alice, for her part, finished up her first batch of food and got sent to clean Moory’s shed and poor dirty Moory herself – though I had to stop her trying to eat Toothy the cowplant’s cake midway through. *sigh* One of these days I’m going to LET one of you get eaten, and then you’ll learn...

-->Anyway – she fed the cowplant, then went and cleaned Moory and refilled her feed with prairie grass hay to keep the cow happy. Along the way, she indicated she wanted to cook some waffles (a picture of the waffle iron appeared in her activity queue anyway), so I looked through the options and decided she should cook some pumpkin spice ones – something different, and it would use up the pumpkin in the fridge! While she finished in the shed, Victor finished cleaning the chicken coop and decided he wanted pineapple pizza for breakfast, which I allowed because it amused me. XD I then checked in on Smiler, broke them out of another perma-weeding loop, had them go around and get a few key crops (soybeans, black beans, plasma fruit, pineapples, poison fireleaves, noxious elderberries), then had them snag a bottle of fizzy plasma from the greenhouse fridge to drink while they worked on super-selling the rest of the produce. Though I did end up having them also snag some taro root and garlic first, because taro root is also good for making flour, and I didn’t think they’d ever actually HARVESTED any of the garlic they’d planted. Might as well, right? That’s what it’s there for! Happily, all this harvesting and super-selling actually maxed out their gardening skill, which is cool. :D Now the house has two super-gardeners to take care of all the plants!

-->With the garden all taken care of, Smiler got sent upstairs to go play a little Sim Scuffle (I think it’s everyone’s favorite game in this household), while Alice finished up her chores with Moory and went in to make her pumpkin spice waffles as Victor finished breakfast. Only for her to then immediately have to go OUT again because her werewolf temperaments made her feel like the walls were closing in on her. *sigh* I thought about having her indulge in some zoomies, but as the waffles were going to be done very soon, I figured it wasn’t worth it it (you never know how long zoomies are going to take, and the interaction can’t be canceled, sooo). Instead, I had her dig around in the yard for a bit (she snagged a sample of utranium for her efforts – pretty sure she already has that in her little collection, but always nice to get something while scavenging!), while Victor took advantage of the oven being free to bake some everything bagels (as I figured it would be nice to have something from him in the stand too). Once I was sure she was okay to come back in, I had her go back to the kitchen to collect her waffles and have some artful foccacia for breakfast (as Victor knee-walked to the bathroom, poor guy) –

-->And then, made sure both she and Victor had a piece of forbidden candy from the jar in the kitchen! Reason being, I learned from – okay, I actually don't recall now if it was an onlyabidoang video or a Petey Plays It video, but one of them did a video that showed how having one piece will give Sims an energized moodlet and actually REFILL THEIR ENERGY NEED AND KEEP IT FULL while the moodlet is active. (Have two in a 24-hour period, however, and you lose the benefit as your Sims become uncomfortable.) As Victor and Alice are always getting tired at odd times because of the weird hours they keep, this seemed like a great way to keep them happy and awake while they were out and about! :D Once they were officially Energized by ghost sugar, I had Alice head to the porch to grab the painting Felipe Sisson recently made on the easel out there (he visited during the party Smiler had a little while ago and painted something before he left – it was actually a really nice painting, I’ll have to give it back to him at some point) before sending her to the downstairs bathroom to use the toilet then lick herself clean. Victor, for his part, was kept busy by using the various pet poops he had in his inventory to fertilize a few plants close to evolution. XD Look, I had to get them out of the poor guy’s pockets! He came back as Alice somber-howled her way to lower Fury (didn’t want any inconvenient rampages while they were out and about) – and with everyone sorted, it was time to hit Hare Square in Windenburg with the Van Liddelton Snacks stand!

NSB (Straud Legacy) Gen 8 Ep. 180: A Bittersweet Birthday

With boxed up cake in tow, the family arrived at the party venue in Newcrest and found their guests already playing inside.

The adults joined a cooperative alien invader defense game while Luigi was excited to battle his cousin with the newest voidcritter he’d been training.

The dads made sure to come over near the end of the match, and under Jack’s expectant gaze Luigi overcame his frustration at the narrow defeat enough to unclench his angry fists and congratulate Hunter on a battle well fought. For such mature sportsmanship a proud Peachy delivered a thank you kiss to both Papa Jack and the birthday boy before the jokesmith headed over to the bar where he had a microphone waiting for him.

Luigi was still far from his dad’s biggest fan when it came to his comedy, but when Peachy had promised to produce a “super fun, video game themed” skit especially for the event Luigi had eventually agreed to let him perform at the party.

The comedian had researched and worked hard to craft good jokes about his son’s favorite hobby, given that he’d rarely done much gaming himself, and in the end the kids seemed to enjoy it. Even Luigi cracked a smile, which made his dad feel more like a superstar than any paying gig ever could.

When the show was over it was finally time for the main birthday event.

Peachy and Jack’s cake took pride of place and the assembled family and friends cheered as Luigi blew out his candles and spun his way into teendom.

The young sim suddenly shot up in height and, although he hadn’t ditched his eczema flareup, showed every sign of his Papa’s good looks.

Luigi was quickly almost bowled over as Papa Jack delivered a big bear hug for his newly big boy. He and Peachy smiled indulgently as Jack babbled happily about the amazing things Luigi’s future held in store, everyone doing their best not to think about Jack soon not being there to see them.

When he was finally released Luigi made a beeline for the bar, which had been taken over by Great Grandpa Don after the bartenders’ shift ended.

He’d learned a lot about fizzy and sweet drinks in the abstract from his relatives in Henford and Chestnut Ridge. The science of brewing drinks sounded like too much work, but Grandpa Don made the practice of pouring those drinks seem glamorous and fun. Now that he was old enough, the expert mixologist was happy to show his great grandson everything about the craft, starting with how to craft Papa Jack’s favorite drink.

Luigi further indulged his Papa that evening at bedtime. He was “clearly” much too old to need tucked in, but when Jack asked to see him off to bed that night, he didn’t even consider saying no to the old ritual that had often helped soothe him to sleep as a child.

As Jack smiled down at his little boy, suddenly looking so big in his tiny single bed, he silently asked the Watcher to go easy on him and help him find success but, even more importantly, happiness. There was no response, but he’d never gotten one before, either.

Finally, Jack walked the short distance across the hall to his own room and drifted off to sleep one final time in his best friends’ arms.
