Fiyero struts about the place like a stallion cause his bff is a Horse? Is he wearing blue so they match??

Just now realizing how tragic it is we’ll never see Dorothy meet Feldspur (Fiyero’s horse). You cannot convince me Dorothy isn’t 100% a horse girl and can you imagine a horse girl meeting a talking horse? One who’s long time bffs with one of her new bffs? They would be gossiping for hours about all of Fiyero’s shenanigans he would have no peace.

Did Fiyero colour-coordinate his outfit to match his Horse, or did he convince Feldspur (the Horse!) To dye his fur to match his signature colour?

I need to know more about the Animals in Oz... Do they have animal lifespans or lifespans more similar to human lifespans?

I read somewhere that Animals are usually servants in Oz... True or no?

And why is Fiyero's Horse friend blue when iirc no other Animals are different colours to the usual? (I saw something about it being a throwback to the 1939 film?)
