i tweaked my shunting-yard algorithm impl so it could parse array literals in addition to operators. problem: the shunting-yard algorithm is not designed to parse array literals and i don't know what i'm doing. [1,2,3,4] parses into an array. but so does ]1,2,3,4[][[[][[[[. i don't want to talk about it
