i tried to go with the vibe of the original PTT hand-drawn art, so i tried not to pressure myself to have perfect lines and everything is Perfect and matches 1:1 with other PTT mangle art i've done. my goal was just to have fun drawing !

HCs:

although not shown here, mangle is often pictured with a balloon animal dog. the colour of the balloon animal is inconsistent and there is no found media including the animal's name

mangle was set up to tell jokes and make vocal sound effects. this makes it and jasper best friends (obviously!! :0P)

mangle's early showtapes feature a lot of yipping and giggling. this was toned down in later showtapes

when mangle sells-out in commercials or showtapes, it mostly shills the salad bar. when the band talks about pizza, mangle is passionate about weird and "unmatched" toppings

almost no early versions of mangle were consistent in art and animatronics. makeup was incomplete, eyebrows were missing, hats were crooked, it was a mess...

one consistent design feature is whiskers. a lot of resold mangle merchandise has broken or cut-off whiskers, making whiskered vintage mangles more valuable. (shout out my mutual who introduced me to the cuteness of whiskers!!)

in old found corporate media, doodles featuring the mangle show it making silly mistakes and doing janitorial work
