I absolutely despise Alden Vacker. Half of that hatred comes from him being problematic, and the other half comes from him putting a bad name on the name Alden. The only character I’ve come across with my name and it’s this guy???

also fun fact! the surname vacker is (allegedly) derived from the swedish word for beautiful, so the patterns on fitz’s clothes here are largely inspired by traditional swedish folk art! in the same vein, i like to draw on more celtic imagery for characters such as keefe, fintan, and the ruewens, whose names seem to come from more scottish or irish origins. not super important i just think it’s neat … 🤭🤭
