FITF show in Madrid, review translated:
Louis Tomlinson is touring the world thanks to the tour to present 'Faith in the Future' and after his stop in Bilbao, Madrid was next in his triplet in Spain. With tickets sold out in all venues, on October 5 they took to the WiZink Center stage for the first time. It must be remembered that he had visited La Riviera on his previous tour on March 10, 2020 just before the pandemic broke out. Just a few minutes passed 9 p.m. when the band took positions and with pyrotechnics, the Briton appeared amid deafening screams. Flooding the capital in red, the night began with 'The Greatest', 'Kill My Mind' or 'Bigger than Me', unleashing incredible dedication from the thousands of people who packed the venue. That night, there were even moments where the chants were heard louder than the singer. Something very normal considering the accumulated desire they had. After 'Holding on to Heartache' and 'Face the Music', Louis headed to the capital. The first thing I did was thank each person who was there that night. Meanwhile, I took the opportunity to catch my breath after a hectic start. Shortly after, the music continued playing with 'We Made It' and 'Paradise' before traveling back in time to his time in One Direction. With great force, Madrid and Louis united their voices in 'Night Changes' that prepared us for a 'Chicago' with which they overflowed with energy. Throughout the night, we saw pyrotechnics on stage and, above all, a harmony between the audience. 'High in California', 'Written All Over Your Face' and 'All This Time' were not missing that night while the Brit moved around every corner of the stage enjoying the audience's devotion. On several occasions the venue was illuminated with mobile phones, as was the case in 'She Is Beauty We Are World Class', creating a very special image. “It's fucking incredible to see how full it is and to see such a dedicated audience,” he said, full of excitement, admiring the thousands of people before him. Overflowing with happiness at what he was experiencing, he made Madrid continue singing with 'Copy of a Copy of a Copy' or his unmistakable 'Walls' before seeing him cover '505' by Arctic Monkeys. That night, we were immersed in a massive karaoke and the power of the songs did not diminish at any time. The capital had the task of leaving its throat and it showed it from start to finish. For the final stretch there were 'Back to You', the special and magical 'Angels Fly' and an 'Out of my System' with which he immortalized what he was experiencing that night. There were few songs that remained ahead but if Tomlinson was clear about one thing, it was that he was going to leave the rest. With 'Saturdays' there was a very special moment. The WiZink turned off its lights and thousands of flashlights illuminated it, watching the song go from strength to strength. It started in the most intimate way until it ended in style. As expected, another high point was experienced in 'Where Do Broken Hearts Go', shaking the foundations of the WiZink Center while there was no shortage of dancing on the floor. 'Silver Tongues' was in charge of putting an end to the night. With the audience jumping up and down, celebrating the music and watching them walk off the stage to the front row, Louis Tomlinson and Madrid signed their farewell. That October 5, the hearts of thousands of people beat to the same soundtrack. It was another night of dreams fulfilled, a long-awaited reunion where there was room for all kinds of emotions. Louis continues to show his evolution as an artist, with a firm step, offering a handful of songs that are anthems for his followers. The artist steps on stage with more and more confidence and manages to create a most magical atmosphere during his concerts. In addition, he has a veritable army of followers behind him who accompany him every step he takes.
