Fanart for @laikascomet! I adore this comic, and Catmasks art in general, they're a huge inspiration to me! When i thought of the idea of a star as a droplet of water rebounding back out of a larger pool, i just had to do it.

Artfight attack on @dessertdingo! I really enjoyed making this piece, this is actually the first time i've used this shading method on a finished piece and i'm very happy with how it tuned out. I really like how the shading on their right hand looks in particular (Though drawing her left was a nightmare)

A piece that is meant to be a test of an environment in a world i hope to turn into a video game some day, though i intend to focus on comics. Based on the classic sunset and grid type of vaporwave, with some coral, sponges and other reef dwelling sea-life

A ref for one of my 5 million characters, Hollyhock! (He/him, Adult)

If your wondering what he is... uh everything lol. ok technically the "species" he is is kind of like. you know when some furry characters are like, hybrids? like cat/bunny or wolf/dragon or whatever? Yeah so these guys (Who i've been calling Ml's for now) are like if that kept happening so much that everyone is like a hybrid of too many animals to count. you can tell where some stuff comes from sometimes, like with Hollyhock here, he's got some kangaroo, seal, and some sort of cephalopod. He has 2 elbows.

most of the time you can see specific traits passed down from their parents, but sometimes you just have a kid with hooves that come from nowhere. they all have joint issues.

He's already been put on my artfight, but i realized i hadn't put this guys ref on tumblr yet! This is Squid! He's a teenager, roughly equivalent to 17 in human years. pronouns are He/him.

Eldest of six but didn't end up a responsible person lol, a bad influence really. Is adopted, but one sibling is biological and was adopted with him at the same time. In "college" ("Hello class today we are going to be constructing a two story house")

Loves concerts, extrovert, LOUD and ANNOYING. Loves pranking people. Loves the beach, can breath underwater. Cheery, optimistic, kinda naive. Not the smartest in a "Oh you have to boil the water for tea? i thought that was just to speed it up" way, but decently "book-smart". Good at math.

Another artfight attack! This time, revenge for Aposematic! (No artblog on tumblr, haha) I had a lot of fun with this one, esp with the lineart and shading. I didn't do too many attacks, but i'm pretty proud of sitting down and finishing 2 character refs, and 3 attacks! I usually just do a ton of doodles, that i sometimes color, so that's pretty good for me!
