Day 23 of Black History Month challenge: One black history post everyday for the entire month. . . On March 31, 1870, one day after the ratification of the 15th Amendment, which allowed him the right to vote, Thomas Peterson became the first African American to cast a ballot in a U.S. election under the provisions of the 15th Amendment. The citizens of Perth Amboy, N.J. were voting to settle a disagreement over whether to revise the town charter or abandon it in favor of a township form of government. . . Peterson cast his historic vote on March 31, 1870.  The iconic vote was cast in a local election in Perth Amboy, New Jersey for the town’s charter.  Gary Sullivan of the News Tribune stated, “Exercising his right to vote in a local election on March 31, 1870.  Peterson became the first black man in the United States to cast a ballot.  The amendment had been ratified on February 3, 1870, and within just two months the Fifteenth Amendment was put to use. . . It's Wednesday morning after Primary day. Is it safe to come out? I had to miss voting yesterday due to my health issues, but before you razz on me, my 19yr old, Katie, voted for the first time!! She called the experience "nervewracking." Coming from someone with Aspergers and social anxiety I can totally see it, but she persevered, and accomplished it! . . She was totally prepared (on her own and even schooled me on topics and who and why) and voted her own conscious. When I tried to get a picture all she did was give me a Bitch face. But... we don’t really know the House Guests,  you say? How can we make a non-partial vote? Well, you can’t. Because this is more about who is YOUR favorite House Guest, based SOLEY on their Bio / Introduction.  But do remember these bio’s were written by the house guest themselves... and you can not always judge a book by their cover! So... whoever may be your favorite now, you may find out later is a real A--Hole...but that’s the fun of it, right?

So look for the poll starting tomorrow, read the bios again, and you can vote twice every hour for the next 48 hours. But remember, this could change the complete outcome of the game before it even get’s started!!!  (evil laughing)

TRIAL 3 START ! COURT IS NOW IN SESSION !

❥ Trials are ask & thread based ! By posting discussion in the tag and sending asks to suspects, main contributors to the case, and the main blog. this trial will go on for as long as it’s needed to find the culprit. Thus, there is no need to feel rushed into things !

❥ At the end of the trial, the judge will call for a vote ! Voting will last for 24 hours unless there is an overwhelming majority. However.

❥ You only get two chances. Should the partygoers be wrong with their firstvote, a random partygoer will be punished. Should the partygoers be wrong twice, that person will be executed regardless of guilt. 

❥ Throughout the case, this blog will have the judge or wardens commenting on proceedings. Some of it could be revealing information, sometimes it might be hinting towards the culprit…or just them trying to make things more interesting.

❥ Not all of the wardens can be telling the truth. Some may lie or some may be telling the truth in a roundabout way. Good luck figuring out what the truth is.

❥ DO NOT MAKE ASSUMPTIONS ABOUT THE EVIDENCE/CASE. You may believe a fact or a piece of evidence but they must be confirmed by certain parties or with the wardens/judge to be considered the absolute truth.

❥ Communicate ! Make sure to pay attention to what everyone has to say. What if a muse mentions their evidence or alibi ? Make sure there are no inconsistencies !

❥ Please be patient ! Mods will do their best to answer as quickly as they can !
