So I recently started a weekly series of disc posts called #FrisbeeVaultFriday where I’ll be digging in to my #DiscGolfCollection, giving you a little background story on a special disc and why it’s a highly sought after collectible.- - This beautiful merlot with silver stamp Discmania First Run C-Line PD PowerDriver is a great thrower for those that love PD’s. Those that know about these truly know the great scoring potential that these discs have, a solid addition to anyone’s Disc Golf Collection!- - The PD PowerDriver was first released in 2008 in the Bright Yellow S-Line Plastic with various hotstamps in Black, Red, Purple and Green! These gained incredible popularity in Europe with very few ever making it to the United States, a disc that many players swear to nothing better til this day! - Discmania later released in stiff C-Line Plastic, this disc being an early standard stock run that can be identified as being First Run with a very pronounced flat top flight plate and very rigged feel in the hand, they feel just as overstable as they fly. These typically had the “PD” written over the “weight” but I’ve seen that go both way in this particular run, but it’s all about the plastic that designates this incredible run. - These are sone of my favorite discs to throw because they are the perfect compliment to any Disc Golf bag arsenal. They are a Speed 10 Driver that fit the gap perfectly in between the slower speed fairway drivers and the higher speed distance drivers. Making it a disc of choice when you don’t want to back down on a distance or have to step up a gear on a fairway to get the desired distance. It’s disc like this that have changed the game and the First Run C-Line PD are some of personal favorites in my Disc Collection!- - Do yourself a favor and get one of these discs in your bag! Does anyone have one of these gems in their personal Disc Golf Collection? 💎 - - #Discmania #PD #FirstRunPD #DiscGolfCollection
