I was searching the finish line crowds for my Dad, my hero, & obviously you can see I found him. This race was not easy, but seeing how proud my Dad was that I was crossing that finish line, it was so worth it. Thank you @justdanny7 For pushing me to try something new!

Kesan pertama sungguh istimewa. Katanya sih gitu, dan benar terjadi. . Setelah sekian (lumayan) banyak event running dan udah nyaman banget di 5k, saatnya naik kelas jadi 10k. Pertama kali ikut running yang jaraknya 10k. Rasanya? Tidur ga nyenyak, jerawat keluar semua, dan kayanya indikasi stres ringan (lebay sih, tapi kejadian lah haha). . Selama perjalanan dari Indramayu ke Jogja, kurang lebih 6jam-an, mata merem tapi ga bisa tidur. Perut kembung, asam lambung naik, ah pokonya mah perjalanan ter engga bangetlah. . Besoknya mau running, pake ada tragedi lagi (0.0). Dan pas hari H, udah pasrah aja deh. Sugesti diri semoga kuat. Kalo ga kuat yaudah jangan di paksain. . Track baru (diluar senayan dan sekitarnya 😄), suasana mendukung (gerimis udah mulai turun di kilometer 2), pemandangannya luar biasa, panitianya kece banget, ini event ter rapi deh kayanya sepanjang ikutan running-running begini. Dan konsepnya asik banget. . Lutut udah kerasa ga enak di kilometer 2 (baru kilometer 2 dong! Haha) cuma ya itu sugesti aja, kalo masih enak dipake lari lanjut aja. Dan alhamdulillah finish 16 menit sebelum COT (cut off time) dan full jalan 1,5 kilometer terakhir, telapak kaki udah ga kuat dipake lari, dan pasnya "tamu wanita" datang disaat hari running. Itu salah satu alasan ga yakin juga, tapi ya alhamdulillah finish walaupun ga strong-strong amat, haha. Intinya finish selamat, dan nagih buat 10k selanjutnya! (Haha) . Niat, Jujur, percaya sama kemampuan diri sendiri, berdoa, usaha dan happy itu kuncinya sih. Finished my first 10k today. It was incredibly hard for me because this was the first time I had ran at all since Vegas. #First10k ever! 9 weeks ago I started using the Nike #NRC app and went from being a #couchpotato to achieving this #milestone. Also, I've shed 7kg along the way! More than the #running, the difficult part was #constancy, but we all must keep pressing on towards our goals, otherwise things won't just happen. Hace 9 semanas empecé a usar la app de Nike (gratis) y he pasado de ser muy #sedentario a alcanzar este logro. Además, perdí 7 kilos de grasa en el proceso. Más difícil que el #correr fue el mantener la #constancia , pero si no caminamos hacia nuestras metas, nunca llegaremos a ellas. Te animo a tomar pequeñas decisiones que te lleven en la dirección correcta. Lesson learned on my first 10k

I learned something new this weekend during my first10k trial run. I learned that when the venue is small and Muscle Milk does not have a booth, drinking the provided chocolate milk as fast as you would a bottle of Muscle Milk will cause your stomach to rebel!! Not in a good way either!! So my advice if you pick up the chocolate milk... drink it very slowly!!
