since our grade passes out of our schl this year we're having a schl farewell this month and then its a tradition to have an afterparty organised by the students themselves. so uh in our grade we have this BIG group mainly composed of the ppl living in the nearby huge society and their friends and the rest of us (the outcasts lmao) were like very sure we would not be invited coz theyre stuck up so a friend A of mine organised her own big party and sent out the invites. and then it turned out actually everyone was invited to theirs but ours is better but then ours got cancelled lmao (oh and theres rumours that therell be alcohol at their party -_-)
so theres one friend B in our frndgrp who is def going to the other one bc her crush will be there lol but since just the remaining five of us + another good friend are having our own miniparty with just us and she rly wants to join but bros not before hoes ig :( /j/j she has frnds in the other party too haha and rn we have no idea where tf to go bc uh friend A cant eat outside food bc of a gastro problem :(((
oh and did i mention that friend A and B are in fact best friends and friend B actually helped in organising our original big party with friend A but then she was the first one who wanted to cancel it sighhh

so. theres two different parties going on and friend B organized yours but then wanted to go to friend A’s because of a CRUSH???? which means you dont have a party????
#yeah this is insane lia what#first of all friend A is just. in the popular group huh so shes gonna go to the big party#but now friend B is being blatanly rude by going to friend A’s cause of a crush??#and now that theyre best friends theyre just gonna side with each other and now theyre leaving you + everyone else that wanted to go to the#smaller party out cause theyre just attached at the hip#see i wouldnt survive at your school my head would be on a SWIVEL#cause thats just plain rude🙁🙁🙁🙁🙁#asks#skylia!

Everywhere ➵ Chris Sturniolo
The late afternoon sun bathed the street in a warm golden hue as you strolled toward the park, your thoughts drifting aimlessly. It had been one of those quiet days, the kind where time seemed to stretch out endlessly, leaving you too much space to think. You smiled to yourself, recalling the latest video Chris and his brothers had uploaded to their wildly popular YouTube channel.
Even though you’d known the trio for years—Chris, Nick, and Matt had been your friends since high school—it still amazed you to see how far they’d come. Their videos were blowing up, and the world was finally seeing what you’d known all along: the Sturniolo brothers were something special. But it wasn’t their success that had your head in the clouds today.
It was Chris.
He had always been the life of the group, the one who could make you laugh until your sides hurt. But somewhere along the way, the feeling you got when you were around him changed. It had become more intense, harder to ignore, and now… He was everywhere.
Every time you opened her phone, he was there—his smile, his laugh, his playful antics with Nick and Matt. Even when you weren’t scrolling through social media, something reminded you of him. A song on the radio, a phrase someone said in passing—everything seemed to lead back to Chris.
You reached the park and found your usual spot beneath a sprawling oak tree. Chris had texted you earlier, asking if you wanted to hang out, just the two of you. It wasn’t unusual, but today, there was a nervous energy buzzing under your skin. You didn’t know why.
Maybe it was because of that stupid dream you’d had the other night, where he’d leaned in close, his hand brushing your cheek as he whispered your name. You had woken up in a daze, the feeling of his touch lingering even after you opened her eyes. Ever since then, you couldn’t shake the thought of what it would be like if Chris saw you the same way you saw him.
Before you could dive too deeply into your thoughts, you heard his voice.
“Hey!”
You turned and saw Chris jogging toward you, his face lit up in that familiar grin that always made your heart skip a beat. He wore a faded band tee and baggy jeans, his hair tousled from the wind, and as always, he looked effortlessly good. You waved as he approached, your pulse quickening.
"Hey," you greeted him as he flopped down on the grass beside you, his usual carefree energy radiating off him.
You sat in comfortable silence for a while, just watching the world go by. Chris was always easy to be around—you never had to force conversation or feel like she needed to entertain you. He was like a constant presence, always there, even when words weren’t.
“You’ve been quiet today,” Chris said after a while, glancing over at you.
You shrugged, trying to play it off. “Just thinking.”
“About what?” He leaned back on his hands, his eyes studying you in that way that made it impossible for you to lie.
You bit her lip. “Just… Stuff.”
Chris raised an eyebrow, a playful smile tugging at his lips. “Stuff, huh? You’re gonna have to be more specific than that.”
You laughed, pushing his shoulder lightly. “Fine. Thinking about you. Happy?”
His grin faltered for a split second, but it was so quick you almost missed it. He sat up straighter, his voice softer now. “Thinking about me? Why?”
You felt her cheeks heat up. “I don’t know. You’ve just been… Everywhere lately. On my phone, on my mind.” You forced a laugh, trying to downplay it. “It’s like I can’t escape you.”
Chris didn’t laugh like you thought he would. Instead, he stared at you, his eyes narrowing slightly as if he were trying to figure something out. The silence stretched between you, and for the first time, it felt a little heavy, like there was something unsaid hanging in the air.
“Is that a bad thing?” he asked, his tone more serious than usual.
You blinked, caught off guard by his question. “No, it’s not bad. It’s just… I don’t know. I guess I’ve just been thinking about us.”
His expression softened, and he leaned in a little closer, his voice low. “What about us?”
You hesitated, suddenly feeling vulnerable. This wasn’t how you had imagined this conversation going. You hadn’t planned on telling him, hadn’t even planned on confronting these feelings, but now that the moment was here, it felt impossible to hold back.
“I don’t know how to explain it,” you said, your voice barely above a whisper. “But lately, I just… I can’t stop thinking about you.”
Chris was silent for a moment, and for the first time, you noticed the shift in his expression. There was no teasing grin, no playful glint in his eyes. Instead, he looked at you with an intensity that made your stomach flip.
“Y/N,” he started, his voice soft but steady, “I’ve been thinking about you too. For a long time.”
Your heart stopped. “What do you mean?”
He ran a hand through his hair, a nervous gesture you recognized. “I mean… It’s not just you who’s been seeing me everywhere. I can’t stop thinking about you either. Every time we hang out, every time I see you, it’s like you’re all I can focus on. It’s driving me crazy.”
Your breath caught in your throat. You hadn’t expected this. You hadn’t expected him to feel the same way.
“I thought I was imagining things,” you admitted, your voice shaky. “I didn’t think you felt that way.”
Chris let out a short laugh, shaking his head. “Are you kidding me? I’ve been trying to hide it for months.”
The vulnerability in his voice was something you weren’t used to hearing from him. Chris was always so carefree, so lighthearted, but now there was a weight to his words that made your heart ache.
“So, what do we do?” you asked quietly, your eyes searching his.
He reached out, his hand finding yours, and for a moment, everything around you seemed to fade away—the noise of the city, the buzz of the world. It was just you, sitting under the oak tree, with years of friendship and something more finally coming to the surface.
“Maybe we stop pretending we don’t feel what we feel,” he said, his voice soft but sure. “And see what happens.”
You looked down at your hands, your thumb brushing against his. “What if it changes everything?”
Chris smiled, and this time, it wasn’t teasing. It was warm, genuine. “Maybe it will. But maybe that’s okay.”
You looked up at him, your heart pounding in your chest. The weight of the moment hung between them, heavy with possibility and uncertainty. But as Chris leaned in, his lips brushing yours in a soft, tentative kiss, all the fears, all the questions melted away.
In that moment, it didn’t matter what might change, what risks you were taking. All that mattered was the way he felt—everywhere.

Roots Changed
(All characters are 18+)
Ryan Thornton had always been the quiet, bookish kid. At 18, he was still the same shy, nerdy teenager who spent most of his time buried in science fiction novels, comic books, and the occasional video game. Ryan had come to terms with his place in life: an outsider in high school, an openly gay teen with few friends and even fewer social opportunities. His world was small but comfortable, a safe little bubble in the predominantly white suburb of San Diego where he’d lived his whole life.
But when his mom got a new job and the family moved across the city to a much more diverse, predominantly Latino neighborhood, Ryan didn’t know what to expect. The change was jarring. The new school was like nothing he’d known — crowded, full of energy, and with a culture that felt loud and foreign. The kids here were different, the language they spoke, the way they dressed, the confidence they carried — it was all so much more alive than what Ryan was used to.
In the first few days, Ryan stayed under the radar. He was determined to finish high school without any drama, just getting through the final year before heading to college. But that plan quickly unraveled when a group of the popular kids — the jocks and cheerleaders — took notice of him.
At first, he didn’t think much of it. He tried to keep his head down, but he couldn’t ignore the whispers in the halls, the way people looked at him — the way they sized him up. His pale skin, messy blond hair, awkward stance — all of it screamed “outsider.” It didn’t help that Ryan was the only openly gay kid in the school, and he often felt like an alien in the sea of confident, straight students.
One afternoon, during lunch, the inevitable happened. He was sitting alone at a table when Luis, the captain of the football team, and Sofia, the head cheerleader, approached him with their usual entourage. They towered over him, their presence intimidating, but Ryan couldn’t find the words to excuse himself.
Luis looked down at him, a smug grin on his face. “Hey, you’re the new guy, right?”
Ryan swallowed hard. “Yeah, that’s me.”
“You don’t really fit in here, huh?” Sofia’s voice wasn’t unkind, but it was sharp. She appraised him like a project. “You’re a little too... quiet for this place. Too nerdy.”
Ryan felt his face flush. He had been used to this kind of thing before, but not quite like this. He shifted uncomfortably in his seat, wanting to disappear.
Luis smirked. “Well, we can help with that. Make you more... like us.” He exchanged a quick glance with Sofia, who gave a small nod.
“I don’t really—” Ryan began to protest, but before he could finish his sentence, they grabbed him by the arms. He struggled, but the group was too strong. Their laughter was loud and mocking, echoing in his ears as they pulled him away from the lunch table, past the curious eyes of the other students, and out to the school parking lot.
“What the hell is going on?” Ryan managed to say, panic setting in as they shoved him into the back of a van.
“We’re gonna make you one of us, gringo,” Luis said, the edge to his voice unmistakable.
Ryan’s heart pounded as the van started moving. “What are you doing? Let me out of here!” But the more he shouted, the less anyone seemed to care. They ignored him, speaking in rapid Spanish, laughing, joking, as if they’d done this before.
The van came to a stop in a neighborhood unfamiliar to Ryan, and they led him into a house that felt more like a base of operations than a home. An older man with tattoos covering his arms stood waiting for them, his expression serious, as though this was just another job.
“Sit,” the man said, gesturing toward a chair in the middle of the room. “We’ve got work to do.”
Ryan’s heart raced in his chest, but he was powerless to fight back. They tied him down, but it wasn’t painful; it was more like they were preparing him for something. The man — who spoke little — went to work, using strange tools and substances on him, altering his appearance in ways that made Ryan’s head spin. His skin, once pale and freckled, slowly darkened, turning a rich olive tone. His features shifted subtly — his jawline more defined, his nose more pronounced. But it wasn’t just his skin that changed.
The most dramatic transformation happened to his hair. Ryan’s once-messy, light brown curls were smoothed out, darkening into a deep, glossy brown. They styled it into a perfectly straight, sharp middle part. It was perfect, almost too perfect. His hair, which had always been unruly, now lay in neat, controlled waves on either side of his head, framing his face in a way that made him look... different.
When the process was finished, they released him from the chair, and Ryan was led to a mirror. He barely recognized the person staring back at him. The face was familiar, but the features were sharper, darker. His hair — sleek and controlled — was no longer his own. The new, confident posture, the athletic build, the deep brown eyes looking back at him — it was like he was staring at someone else.
Luis stood behind him, clapping him on the back with a grin. “Welcome to the team, hermano,” he said, his voice low and proud.
Ryan — or whatever was left of him — looked at himself in the mirror. The old Ryan Thornton was gone, replaced by someone else. Someone new. Someone who looked like he could be a football player. Someone who looked like he belonged here, in this world.
Luis wasn’t finished. “You’re Mateo Hernandez now. We’re not calling you Ryan anymore. You’re one of us, hermano.”
Mateo Hernandez. The name felt strange at first, foreign even, but when he said it aloud, it felt right, like it had always been his. Mateo felt stronger, more confident. He felt like someone who had a place in the world — a world where people like him didn’t get pushed around, a world where his old self didn’t matter.
Over the next few days, Mateo settled into his new life with surprising ease. His old identity, his old life as Ryan Thornton, began to fade. The change was too thorough. The way he spoke was different now. His accent was smoother, more natural, the slang coming to him effortlessly. His new friends, the jocks, the cheerleaders, they accepted him without hesitation. He was one of them now, and they treated him like family.
It didn’t take long before Mateo found himself walking the halls of his new high school with the same confident swagger as Luis or any of the other jocks. He laughed, joked, and participated in everything — the football games, the parties, the casual flirting with the girls in his classes. It all felt so easy, so right. The old Mateo, the quiet, awkward kid who once spent his days hiding in the library, was gone.
Mateo Hernandez was a high school jock. He was strong, he was popular, and for the first time in his life, he didn’t feel like he was pretending. He was who he was supposed to be.
And as for Ryan Thornton?
Well, Mateo didn’t even remember who that was anymore.
Mateo Hernandez had found his place. And he wouldn’t change it for anything.

could i request my loser gp!sakura who keeps getting a hard on during rehearsels because of seeing reader doing the throwing it back move in Perfect Night 😓 and ofc reader has to helo help!!! duh!!!
(Pervert Sakura is a popular favorite am I right or am I right yall?)
Sakura looking at you like this as you kept practicing the same moves over and over again ‘cause you couldn’t seem to get them right. At first she was just cheering you up, calling your name and clapping so you could feel supported and motivated by her as the good member and unnie she was<3 but when you were throwing it back -
Even after you got that part perfect, she kept telling you to work on it ‘cause “you weren’t there yet”, she’d say while discreetly fixing her boner in her shorts. What a good unnie, even offering to stay with you when everybody else left so you wouldn’t be alone practicing :((. Whole time she just loved how you moved and wanted to watch you without the risk of the other members and the choreographer catching her. Having to constantly check she wasn’t drooling ‘cause she kept staring at you with her mouth open like a dumbass 😭. Telling you she was gonna help you fix your posture, but it was just an excuse to get her hands on you, rubbing herself against your ass hoping you wouldn’t notice it ‘cause she wanted that feeling in her brain for later on that night when she gets home and touches herself thinking about you.
But Ofc you noticed, girlie was hard af, and too much of a stupid pervert to realize she was being too obvious.
“Unnie, what’s that?” You said, trying to turn around to see what was it that was poking your low back lmao
“W-what’s what?” She asked, trying her best to sound calm.
“I think your belt is hurting me wait”
“No! y/n wait-” she argued, trying to stop you from turning around, she didn’t need one of her members knowing how dirty minded she is :( but as you guys struggled a bit, she fell on her ass. With her hands still on your waist, she took you with her, making you fall seated on her lap. “Oh fuck..” she groaned, the pressure on her cock hurting but not in the bad way at all.
“Oh God, unnie I’m so sorry, are you ok?” You asked her, worried that you might have hurt her since the sounds she was making made it seem like it.
“Hmm y/n wait, stay like that please…” Sakura practically begged, starting to lose a grip on herself, having you so close to her like this making her forget she couldn’t just have you without making sure you were ok with it first. Her hands firm on your body stopping you from getting up. Her behavior got you a little confused, did you actually hurt her? If you did she would’ve tried to get you off her, right?
“What? Kkura unnie are you sure you’re ok? And what’s this on your pocket that keeps poking my leg-” you moved a bit just to give your hand enough space to check what was it on Sakura’s pants, and stopped when you realized. How stupid were you not to think about that possibility before. Sakura gulped, both ‘cause of the contact of your hand with her member, and because you caught her in such an embarrassing state. She was a little scared, what if you were disgusted by it? What if you didn’t wanna be friends with her anymore? What if you tell the others? Oh god, how would this affect the whole group? A million thoughts running through her head, while her other head stayed hard as a rock. However, you were everything but disgusted by this.
“So that’s why you kept telling me to continue practicing, huh?” You said, teasing her neck with your nose, your breath causing shivers on the older girl. “Tell me, unnie. When did I actually get it right, hm? For how long you kept me going just ‘cause you wanted to see me?”
“y/n, I-I’m sorry. I really am, I didn’t mean to-” she started apologizing, her voice trembling.
“Shh, it’s ok. You’re already having a hard time right now anyways, aren’t you?” You asked her, your voice softening as your eyes moved to her covered member. “Does it hurt, unnie?”
She didn’t say anything, she just nodded while her eyes followed yours, ashamed to look at you.
“Then I guess I should help you.”
“Eh?!” Sakura asked looking at you so fast with eyes wide open, not sure if she could trust her ears.
“Oh please, don’t act silly now. We both know this is what you wanted, right?” She nodded again, her face red. “Then let me be good and help my unnie. She helped me enough today with my practicing, right? It’s just compensating.”
And that’s how you ended up sucking her dick while she was seated with her back against the wall, the mirror in front of you guys as she enjoyed looking at you from time to time. Sakura’s cock was so sensitive though, that with every lick your tongue gave it she left out whimper after whimper. The tip turning from a pinkish to a more red color, you couldn’t help but play with it with the tip of your tongue. This making her not know what to do with her hands, they went from rubbing your back as she moaned “so good, baby. So fucking good…” to biting her fingers, to grabbing her own neck slightly with one hand, to her nails scratching the floor and the wall behind her, trying to grab anything while her brain became nothing with the delicious sensation of your mouth on her length. The deeper you got it inside your mouth, the closer you were pushing her to her orgasm.
“Ugh baby I’m so close, just like that…” She asked, her hands grabbing your head and keeping you close, making sure you stay right where you were. “Be good and keep unnie’s cock in your pretty mouth when she cums, ok?” She cooed you, letting you breathe for a few seconds only.
“Yes unnie…” you said, catching your breath as you quickly put her back inside your mouth.
“Good girl, such a good girl.” the older girl moaned, her voice hitting higher tones as she started fucking your mouth. You looked up and felt yourself clenching around nothing as Sakura looked so hot lost in her pleasure. Her eyes closed, biting her lip to try and fail to contain the obnoxious noises coming from her mouth. “Oh my god…” you heard her at the same time that thick ropes of cum went down your throat, barely allowing any air to enter but you didn’t care at all, you felt so good knowing it was your Sakura unnie using you like this. Knowing she was this horribly horny just ‘cause she watched you dancing.
You swallowed everything Kkura gave you, and when the grip on your head got loose, you finally took her cock off your mouth. When you sat next to her, she was still not there, clearly. Processing her orgasm, she just sighed and whispered “thank you..” and Omg she just looked so cute, with her hair all messy and her facial features clean of makeup and relaxed. You just giggled “anytime, unnie~” and kissed her cheek before resting on her shoulder, hoping practice becomes this interesting next time soon.
Ngl I went back to watch the dance performance and I got distracted🧍🏻♀️

˚ ✦ . . ˚ . . ✦
scribble. scribble. scribble.
the scratchings of your pencil in your poetry journal are growing increasingly violent. you don’t really care. you’d stayed up all night: tossing and turning and thinking and plotting.
“hey, uh... you okay?” hanbin asks, tapping you gently with the end of his pen. your pencil falls from your fingers as you’re jolted from your anxious thought spiral.
“huh?” you reply, blinking at the star of the soccer team. “oh, um. yeah. i’m okay.”
hanbin’s brow raises slightly at your answer as if it surprises him. “you sure?”
“yeah,” you reply as nonchalantly as possible. “why?”
you follow hanbin’s line of sight to the open page of your poetry journal. you’ve absentmindedly ripped a significant hole through several pages with your vortex of nervous scribbling.
you breathe an awkward laugh, closing your journal and putting your pencil down flat on your desk.
“you had a rough week,” hanbin says, grabbing his journal from his bag and placing it on his desk. you bite your cheeks to keep from grinning at the sight of your target. “or so i’ve heard.”
“i’m sure you have,” you mumble, glancing at the tile floor. “i’m sure everybody has.”
“they haven’t,” he replies definitively and you know he’s telling the truth. “i promise they haven’t.”
hanbin was a tricky one. the star of the soccer team and undoubtedly the most popular boy at your university, it comes as no surprise that he was also the makeshift ring leader of his stupid group of friends. keeping that spotlight also meant keeping up appearances. while your other bullies made their distaste for you known whenever possible, hanbin had a different preferred method of torture.
he liked to play nice. compliment your poems. share a laugh... reel you in.
until you were so close, you couldn’t escape. that’s when he’d flip the script on you.
like when he sent your poem about the boy you liked to the entire university’s mailing list last year. you’d insisted you didn’t feel comfortable sharing it with him. you recoiled with embarrassment at the thought of junseo, your senior lab partner, finding out. but he pushed. made you think you could trust him.
the next day, it was pinned to every bulletin board across campus next to a picture of you that hanbin had taken on your class trip to the national library. like some sort of sick calling card.
junseo sunbae-nim never muttered more than a word to you ever again.
so that’s how all this started. hanbin recruiting his three (and then four) asshole friends in a sudden and violent quest to become the bane of your existence.
sometimes you still can’t help but wonder if you’d done something to upset him. but you shake off that thought each time. you won’t let him get in your head again so easily.
you’ve about mustered the courage to give hanbin some snarky response when your professor’s chalk hatchings across the blackboard send a hush over the classroom.
“good afternoon, everyone,” professor choi greets happily, underlining today’s date on the board. “let’s jump right in today and start with our weekly journals. please share with your desk partner the poem that this week so far inspired you to write.”
your eyes fix on hanbin’s journal again, anticipation stirring as you think about the clues that could be hidden in his poem this week. could the answers you’re looking for really be inside that black, leather book?
“you should go fi—,” you start to suggest a bit too quietly before hanbin unknowingly cuts you off.
“do you wanna go first?” he asks brightly, smile lines illuminating his soft features. you know you shouldn’t indulge him, but you can never stop the corners of your lips from involuntarily turning up in response. no matter how much you hated him, his fairytale prince looks were undeniable.
“oh, uh,” you stammer, grabbing your journal and flipping it open to your entry from this week. you look at the poem you wrote, eyes scanning over the emotional stanzas as you bite your lip uneasily. “i dunno. i kind of got a bit too... personal this week.”
“oh, you know i don’t mind,” he replies calmly. “that’s what poetry is, right?”
“i’m well aware you don’t mind me spilling personal details to you,” you reply with a glare. “but i mind.”
“(y/n)-sshi,” professor choi’s voice suddenly rings over your shoulder. “let’s get reading, okay? time is limited.”
you swallow hard, looking down at your journal shamefully. “yes, professor-nim.”
“so what’s it called?” hanbin asks as professor choi makes her way back up to her desk, folding his arms across his chest and leaning back into his chair. “your poem?”
“the bird,” you answer softly. “it’s called the bird.”
he nods pensively before gesturing for you to start. you look back down at the page, fingers shaking as you try to hold your journal steady. clearing your throat, you recite:
“from her perch at the window, she will never be much. the vultures jeered at her as they circled above. then one flew down— with taloned-hand, he did touch. and a meek little finch turned into a dove. if a dove she can be, she will be it as such. til another vulture fell to his knees with a glove. parted her feathers and took her in his clutch. and from the fair bird, made a raven thereof. she needs to change back, so she tries to stay hush. but a third brash vulture throws her off with a shove. the reluctant truth is she’s filling with lust... and she’s growing quite scared of the bird she’ll become.”
you blink back tears as you close your journal and place it on your desk in front of you. maybe it’s your lack of sleep or the mentally and physically jarring week you’ve had, but reading your poem aloud had left you feeling quite vulnerable.
“that was beautiful, (y/n),” hanbin says suddenly, prying you from your regret. you turn to him, eyes wide as he nods thoughtfully. “i really appreciated the metaphor of the bird. the vultures are considered bad birds, but somehow they changed the subject from an unassuming bird into the more beautiful bird she seemed to want to be... but never thought she could.”
you stare at him as he glances up at the ceiling, those handsome smile lines crinkling his cheeks again.
“funny how things we could perceive as wrong or immoral can actually have a positive effect on us,” he muses with a chuckle. “but it’s only natural for the bird to question that change. she’s done more of that ‘bad’ thing and now she’s afraid it’s turned her into a raven. a bird that frightens her. or maybe a bird she can’t recognize anymore when she looks in the mirror.”
“it did,” you assert quietly. “it did change her.”
“but it sounds like she likes that change. at least part of her,” hanbin rebuts, meeting your gaze. “perhaps if she embraces that and sheds her own guilt— or molts, if you will— she’ll realize the raven is another distortion of her own making, just like the finch was. she’ll realize she is the dove and she always has been.”
your lips part as you gape at hanbin in awe. it was hard not to let your guard down with him when he always dissected your poems so intuitively like this. memories of intense public humiliation are the only thing that can keep you grounded.
“or,” he adds, a small smirk upturning the corner of his lips. “i guess she could also realize that ravens and vultures aren’t the bad birds she thinks they are. maybe she finds that, after all this worrying, she was meant to be a vulture, too.”
“under a minute left,” professor choi calls out from the front of the classroom.
shit. hanbin had talked so much about your poem that he barely had any time left to share his— the poem you desperately needed to be shared in the first place.
hanbin’s still rambling on about vultures, but you’re not paying any attention as a wave of panic rushes over you.
“you should share yours still,” you prompt a little too eagerly, cutting him off mid-sentence. trying your best to dial it back, you add, “i’m sure it’s very interesting, what with the big game on saturday and all.”
hanbin smiles, holding your gaze for a moment too long. it’s suspicious, but his eyes give nothing away.
“if it’s okay with you, i’d rather not share this week,” he says, throwing his journal back in his bag. “i got a little too... how did you put it? personal.”
you blink at him. “but—. but that’s what i said and you—.”
hanbin mutters something under his breath that you swear sounds like, “not like you’d listen to me anyway.”
but you must’ve misheard him.
your heart sinks, your plan crumbling to ashes before your eyes as professor choi launches into a lecture about wilfred owen’s 20th century use of assonance. hanbin had to have written something about what his friends had been up to. that’s why he used up so much time focusing on your poem.
your pencil moves across your paper, absentmindedly taking notes until you reach the only possible conclusion: you can’t give up. you’ll just have to amend the plan.
after class, you hurriedly gather your things and run out the door, pulling your phone out and typing vigorously as you make your way to the bathroom.
WHEN DOES THE BOYS’ SOCCER PRACTICE GO UNTIL TONIGHT!? mina: ??? NO QUESTIONS. JUST ANSWERS. mina: jiwoong oppa is picking me up at 7. so i assume about 6:30. THANK U BYE and... please be careful around him. mina: yeah, yeah, yeah i’ll use protection ily
totally not what you meant. and you’d hate to break it to her, but after his little stunt on monday, you’re not sure how fond her jiwoong oppa would be of that request.
6:30. practice would start soon, giving you plenty of time to slip into the boys’ locker room, read hanbin’s journal, and slip out undetected.
you catch a glimpse of yourself in the bathroom mirror.
a raven’s beady eyes stare back.
~
you kill some time in the library, waiting until practice is well underway before making your way across campus to the gymnasium. your heart is already pounding in your ears just thinking about the little heist you’re about to pull.
but your legs keep propelling you forward.
pulling open the building door, you step inside cautiously. the women’s badminton team is stretching in the atrium of the building, but there’s no sign of anyone else. you head right down the hallway, walking past the cardio fitness center and the weight-lifting gym until you’re in front of the boys’ locker room door.
you put an ear to it, hearing nothing but the whirring of a fan on the other side.
fuck it.
you pull open the door and step inside, white and grey tiled walls and rows of blue lockers surrounding you. your heart races as you look back at the door, wondering if it’s not too late to abandon your mission.
you shake your head. no. you need to find that journal.
with a steadying breath, you begin to walk through the first row of lockers. when you don’t spot hanbin’s bag, you proceed to the second row. and then the next. and then the next until you finally spot it.
tucked under the wooden bench running down the middle of the aisle is a familiar brown, leather messenger bag. you run to it, picking it up from the floor and setting it down on the bench. you unclasp the latch on the front of the bag and lift the flap, opening it up and reaching inside it.
your hand hits something... fluffy. you grab the fuzzy item and pull it out, squealing when you see that it’s a tiny, cream-colored hamster plush. it’s the cutest thing you’ve ever seen in your whole goddamn life.
and you are disappointed to find yourself thinking it bears a striking resemblance to its owner.
you stuff the little hamster back into the bag. as cute as he is, it’s not what you came here for. you gasp when you feel the cold leather-bound journal in your hand, pulling it out hurriedly and examining the cover.
you open the journal, flipping through the pages rashly until you locate an entry with today’s date at the top. it reads:
“if one is a vulture, it’s assumed they’re no good— despite all the research that they’re helpful to earth. does the finch know that if that vulture could, he’d hunt for a mirror and show her her worth? if that finch is a dove, there’d be something that would still keep her away from achieving true mirth. it’s the vultures, she’d cry before she understood: the vulture has always been a sign of rebirth. a dove, raven, vulture, or finch from the woods, the vultures will find her and double their search. but for someone who claims they feel misunderstood, it’s repulsive the lengths she would go to unearth... something that does not belong to that bird. seems the dove was a raven afterall.”
“pretty good, huh?” the sudden voice behind you makes you jump. “wrote it in, like, ten minutes after class. what can i say? i was inspired.”
you don’t turn around. your face is already on fire from how mortified you are. of course, you’d considered the possibility of being caught. but you hadn’t really realized the weight of that consequence until this moment.
“actually, i think it might be even better than the original,” he continues, footsteps echoing against the tiled floors as he draws nearer. “i mean, you really should’ve thought to flesh out those vulture characters a bit. and you didn’t even consider looking up the well-known symbolism behind them.”
a hot breath fans across the back of your neck, causing you to shiver as a hand wraps around the leather-bound journal and pries it from yours.
“i have to admit, i didn’t really think you had it in you,” he says with a chuckle, fingers suddenly hooking into your waistband and turning you around to face him. he’s in his red and white soccer uniform, skin glistening from the practice meet he should be at right now. “but just in case, i wanted to be prepared. write you something worth reading.”
“h-how did you know?” you stutter quietly. “that i—”
“well, you weren’t exactly subtle, now were you?” hanbin smiles but the light doesn’t reach his eyes. “‘you should read your poem, hanbin. i’m sure it’s exciting with the big game coming up’. like you give a fuck about my poetry.”
that last sentence reminds you of what you thought you’d heard him mumble in class today: not like you’d listen to me anyway.
what was that about?
“aw, don’t get sad now that your plan didn’t go your way,” hanbin coos, lifting his hand to caress your cheek. “i thought it was kind of cute. i can forgive you for stealing, right? you just wanted my attention so badly that you had to play a bit dirty.”
you shake your head quickly. “no, it’s not like that! i swear i wasn’t trying to get your attention, i just—”
“well then, jesus fucking christ, what do i have to do to—,” hanbin snaps before promptly cutting himself off. there’s something in his eyes you’ve never seen before: desperation.
a large hand wraps around your throat in an instant, shoving you up against a blue locker. the motion knocks the wind out of you and you find yourself gasping for air. your hand flies to remove his from around your neck, but he catches it in his free one and brings it gently back down to your side.
“i told you in class that if you needed help calling off the vultures, you should ask me while you still can,” hanbin rasps, rubbing his thumb up the left side of your throat. “but you weren’t listening, dove. the gulper got first bite. the rippers tore you apart...”
you breathe shallowly, glancing from side to side for some route of escape.
“but now the king has landed,” he says, tongue flitting across his teeth. “and he’s fucking starving.”
you blink at him, lips parted in stupid shock. “i—... i honestly had no idea you knew so much about vultures.”
“THAT’S WHAT YOU TOOK FROM THAT ARE YOU KID—,” he yells, finger pads digging in tighter to the skin of your neck. his gaze falls to your lips, supple and pretty even in fear. he trails down to your shirt, a button-up front that seems to entice him. “take it off.”
“b-but—.”
take it the fuck off, (y/n). you should know by now how this goes,” hanbin snarls, grabbing your hand and bringing it to the trail of buttons. you start to fiddle with them, but you have some trouble under the pressure of his gaze. “can’t even undo a button? hm? too fucking stupid, dove?”
you find yourself nodding against all odds.
“need binnie to do it for you?” he coos, smile lines illuminating his face again.
you just nod. it seems to be what you do best.
hanbin unfastens the buttons one-handed and with ease. once your shirt is open, he undoes the center clasp of your bra and exposes your chest. then, he sighs with dramatic disappointment. “seriously? that’s it? got me all excited to see your tits and this is what you have to show?”
you look down at your incredibly normal and attractive chest. you’d never really doubted the allure of that part of your body before. should you have?
the humiliating comment causes a lump to form in your throat... and an embarrassingly intense ache to shoot through your heat.
he tugs the center hem of your shirt, pulling the fabric further off your shoulders. “it’s a good thing the other guys didn’t see them. they’re far more superficial than me. you should be grateful you found a guy who can look past the disappointment. ”
hanbin’s free hand gropes your chest, thumb rubbing circles around one nipple and then the next as you let out a soft whimper.
“mm, i heard that,” he breathes with a smirk. “even though you never hear me. probably didn’t even fucking clock the first line in that stupid poem. but i hear you, dove. so let me give you what you want. all you have to do is ask.”
you gulp, softly responding, “w-want you to... touch me.”
“yeah?” hanbin affirms, finger trailing down your stomach.
you nod again, this time more assuredly under the guise of his encouraging smile. that is, until a harsh slap stings your cheek.
“well that wasn’t a fucking question, was it?” hanbin hisses, rubbing soothing circles into your cheek with his thumb. “you’re in an advanced poetry class and you don’t even know how to form an interrogative sentence? just must be doodling all the time, huh? about all the boys who’ve made a mess of you this week? like the dumb little slut you are.”
hanbin’s free hand slips under your skirt, fingers brushing over your clothed core before pulling it out again. you gasp when you see his fingers already covered in your arousal.
his eyes darken as he reaches up your skirt again, tearing a hole right through your lace panties and stuffing two fingers inside of you immediately as you cry out.
“oh, dove, why would i wanna put my cock in here, hm? can already feel how much those other assholes have stretched you out,” hanbin says with another sigh of disappointment.
another bout of worry clouds your mind. was that true? was matthew right? you thought he was just being a misogynistic pig, but... had you really been physically tainted from the events of this week?
“so fucking lucky, dove,” hanbin whispers, removing his hand from your heat and taking one of yours. he brings it down the front of his athletic shorts and then wraps it around his impossibly hard length. you look up at him, wide-eyed. “where every other man would see damaged goods, i see prime real estate.”
“what—”
“gonna fuck you now, m’kay?” hanbin interjects, pulling his shorts down and exposing himself to you. you hadn’t really seen the other boys up close or at all like this. hanbin’s cock is pretty, long with just a few visible veins and a pink head that’s leaking a bit of pre-cum. it makes your mouth water. maybe you are a dumb slut.
maybe you like it like that.
or maybe it’s just hanbin’s large hand covering your throat, pressing at the sides tenderly that’s making you start to feel a bit high. he brings himself to your entrance, lining up the tip and coating it in your juices. he’s about to push himself inside of you, when he suddenly freezes.
“you want me to, right?” hanbin asks, tone suddenly much softer than it was before. his eyes are locked with yours, holding you there with him against the wall of lockers. “you want me inside you? just me. not those other guys? not junseo hyung-nim or—”
BEEEEEEEEEP. BRRANG. BRRANG. BRRANG. BEEEEEEEE....
a fire alarm rips through the locker room, loud and annoying as ever. you try to jump out of hanbin’s grasp, but his hands stay fixed around you.
“let me... let me go!” you assert, hitting his chest with your palm. the pressure on your neck that felt so good just a few moments ago is now filling you with fear, “are you trying to kill me or something!?”
his brow raises slightly, as if he only just noticed the alarm. his grip loosens and you take the opportunity to scramble away from him.
“of course i’m not,” he replies dejectedly, re-situating his shorts before huffing, “like you have a body worth going to jail for.”
“oh, shut up,” you retort, rolling your eyes as you race to re-button your shirt. “this is all YOUR fault. whatever’s going on this week, i know you’re behind it. you’ve run out of ideas to keep me small. but i’m not small. in fact, i’m a much bigger person than you are! so... i’m sorry for whatever i did that made you hate me so much in the first place. now, please, let’s get out of here.”
you start to run down the aisle of lockers towards the exit door, but a lack of footsteps behind you causes you to stop and turn back.
“come on,” you urge as hanbin continues to stand in place and stare at you, unmoving. it might be the most infuriating thing he’s done all day. “oh, fucking burn then.”
the tangible anger in your voice startles both of you. hanbin blinks quickly back at you, wide-eyed as if you’ve just slapped him across the face. whoever gave him the right to feel that way is sorely mistaken. you turn back around, throwing over your shoulder:
“are there birds worse than vultures?”

scribble. scribble. scribble.
the scratchings of your pencil in your poetry journal are growing increasingly violent. you don’t really care. you’d stayed up all night: tossing and turning and thinking and plotting.
“hey, uh... you okay?” hanbin asks, tapping you gently with the end of his pen. your pencil falls from your fingers as you’re jolted from your anxious thought spiral.
“from it’s perch at the window, it will never be much. the vultures jeered at it as they circled above. then one flew down— with taloned-hand, he did touch. and a meek little finch turned into a dove. if a dove it can be, it will be it as such. til another vulture fell to his knees with a glove. parted it’s feathers and took it in his clutch. and from the fair bird, made a raven thereof. it needs to change back, so it tries to stay hush. but a third brash vulture throws it off with a shove. the reluctant truth is it’s filling with lust... and it’s growing quite scared of the bird it will become.”
you blink back tears as you close your journal and place it on your desk in front of you. maybe it’s your lack of sleep or the mentally and physically jarring week you’ve had, but reading your poem aloud had left you feeling quite vulnerable.
“that was beautiful, (y/n),” hanbin says suddenly, prying you from your regret. you turn to him, eyes wide as he nods thoughtfully. “i really appreciated the metaphor of the bird. the vultures are considered bad birds, but somehow they changed the subject from an unassuming bird into the more beautiful bird it seemed to want to be... but never thought it could.”

hanbin unfastens the buttons one-handed and with ease. once your shirt is open, he tugs it to the side and exposes your chest. then, he sighs with dramatic disappointment. “seriously? that’s it? got me all excited to see how good you look under here and this is what you have to show?”
you look down at your incredibly normal and attractive upper body. you’d never really doubted the aesthetics of it before. should you have?
the humiliating comment causes a lump to form in your throat... and an embarrassingly intense ache to shoot through your heat.
he tugs the center hem of your shirt, pulling the fabric further off your shoulders. “it’s a good thing the other guys didn’t see this. they’re far more superficial than me. you should be grateful you found a guy who can look past the disappointment. ”
hanbin’s free hand roams across your abdomen and chest, fingers ghosting sweetly against your skin until you let out the tiniest whimper.
“you’re in an advanced poetry class and you don’t even know how to form an interrogative sentence? just must be doodling all the time, huh? about all the boys who’ve made a mess of you this week? like the dumb little slut you are.”
hanbin’s free hand finds it’s way into your jeans, fingers brushing over your clothed core before pulling it out again. you gasp when you see his fingers already covered in your arousal.
his eyes darken as he undoes the button clasp and zipper of your pants, shoving your underwear to the side with his fingers. he forces your legs a bit farther apart before stuffing a finger inside of you, causing you to cry out.
“oh, dove, why would i wanna put my cock in here, hm? so desperate, i could slip right in,” hanbin says with another sigh of disappointment. “did the other guys really make such a whore of you?”
another bout of worry clouds your mind. was that true? was matthew right? you thought he was just being a red-pilled pig, but... had you somehow been physically tainted from the events of this week?
“so fucking lucky, dove,” hanbin whispers, removing his hand from your center and taking one of yours. he brings it down the front of his athletic shorts and then wraps it around his impossibly hard length. you look up at him, wide-eyed. “where every other man would see damaged goods, i see prime real estate.”
“what—”
“gonna fuck you now, m’kay?” hanbin interjects, pulling his shorts down and exposing himself to you. you hadn’t really seen the other boys up close or at all like this. hanbin’s cock is pretty— long with just a few visible veins and a pink head that’s leaking a bit of pre-cum. it makes your mouth water. maybe you are a dumb slut.
maybe you like it like that.
or maybe it’s just hanbin’s large hand covering your throat, pressing at the sides both tenderly and persistently that’s making you feel a bit high. he brings himself to your entrance, spitting in his hand and covering his length as he lines up the tip. he’s about to push himself inside of you, when he suddenly freezes.
“let me... let me go!” you assert, hitting his chest with your palm. the pressure on your neck that felt so good just a few moments ago is now filling you with fear, “are you trying to kill me or something!?”
his brow raises slightly, as if he only just noticed the alarm. his grip loosens and you take the opportunity to scramble away from him, frantically zipping up your jeans.

TURN BACK ANON MY ANONYMITY NOAAAAUUU /J
ive been thinking about this idea the whole day but imagine in human effects, a group of humans shamelessly talk about who they would bang bang in ll and them being superised that; minibots (cough swerve) are oddly popular because in the humans words 'thats probably the only size they can bear without being impaled to death', rung and ratchet is somehow in there because some have a preference for the old ladies (dilfs) etc etc
theyre talking thinking no ones listening since its a bar full of drunken bots but the fact is half of the bar is eavesdropping, esp after the events of the first human effect. some waiting for their names to be mentioned, some absolutely puzzled by their preferences, some fistpumping thinking they might have a chance (brainstorm HAHA)
u dont have to write anything if u dont want to!! love ur writting!! running away now!! have a good day slash night!!

I absolutely loved this idea and got to work on it the moment I read this. So enjoy another part of human effects.
___________________
The sound of Swerve is always loud with the mingling of bots and humans alike, the sound of laughter, crying and venting was a causal occurrence for the many drunk patrons that frequent the bar. But tonight It was bustling even more than it normally is. Swerve shakes his head in amusement as me brings a plate of drinks over for the human crew. Swerve whistled cheerily as he whisked through the busy bar, expertly weaving between crowds with overloaded trays of alcohol and snacks balanced expertly on his servos. The atmosphere pulsed with raucous revelry.
Setting down his latest platter of Human-sized drinks, he flashed the smaller patrons a dazzling smile. "Hope y'all're enjoyin' the party! What's the special occasion tonight, if I may ask?" His optics twinkled mischief. Leaning casually on the bar, taking care not to endanger any of the humans. Swerve propped his chin in his hands attentively. "Seems like a lively bunch are in to spill all the juicy deets. Come on, I'm all audials. what's worth celebrating tonight.
Millian shoots Swerve a smile. "Oh it's gonna get messy tonight Swerve Taylor just had a break up" states which earns raised glasses from the other human crew mates. "To the shit show of a long distance relationship" Nadia calls out and she downs her first shot. "Fucking hell your an alcoholic" the Liason states to the rest of their the crew as they shoot Swerve another smile. "Thank you for the drinks, Swerve I'll try to keep this unruly lot under control, and hopefully Taylor and Nadia dont get to shit faced" they state to him.
Swerve's optics gleamed with intrigue as the Crew shouted their toasts and explanations. "Oooooh, messy breakups and long-distance woes, huh? Been there, done that," he chuckled knowingly, a cheeky gleam in his optics. "Well hey, if Taylor needs a shoulder vents or an audial, you know where to find me," he offered with a friendly wink. "And as for the rest of you rowdy lot..." His vocalizer took on a playfully stern tone. "I expect nothin' but the finest conduct from representatives of our new friends on Cybertron. No pukin' in the vents, no startin' bar fights - at least, no winnin' any," he jested.
Laughter fills the area as the two waves Swerve off back towards the bar. Nadia whistles softly as she watches Swerve walk off. "Careful now, don't let Taylor catch you drooling, she'll make you drink tequila with her" Millian teased softly, jostling Nadia's elbow with a grin. Her friend simply chuckled and took another sip of her drink, eyes still following Swerve's retreat fondly.
"Can you blame me? Those Mech's are something else," Nadia sighed, resting her chin on one hand dreamily. "Tall, strong... kind soul. If he was human, I'd be all over that bartender like rust on spoiled bolts." Millian shuddered as they pulled a face at Nadia. "Ugh, don't put images in my brain, thanks. I swear if I have to watch you flirt with another thousand-pound machine..."
Nadia swatted at him playfully. "Oh hush, like you wouldn't ride Optimus Prime like a mechanical stallion given half the chance." It makes Kyle spit his own drink out as he laughs and chokes at the same time. “Shut the fuck up Kyle!” Millian hisses. The group's Ambassador rolls Their eyes. “Behave you two, God forbid I have to get Garry to drag you both back to your rooms later” they state with a smoke of Their head.
Taylor begins pouring herself tequila shot after tequila which gets her a look from the others realising just how hard she was taking the breakup. As Taylor's shots began piling up at an alarming rate, concerned murmurs arose among the human crew. Millian shot Nadia a look across the table. "Woah there Tex, maybe ease up on the hard stuff for a bit, yeah?" They suggested gently, resting a hand on Taylor's wrist to still the next pour.
"Breakups suck shit, believe me - but that's what friends are for. No need giving yourself An alcohol coma!" Nadia nodded supportively. "Mil's right, T. We're here to help you forget that piece of shit, not drown yourself." She flashed Taylor a cajoling smirk. "And who knows, might find someone else worth your time out there. Wouldn't want to miss your chance at a rebound, all because you're too fucked to function!"
The team's Ambassador shoots Taylor a look too Check on her. "We are here to try and make your night better without you drowning yourself Tay, plus I'm pretty sure Nadia is more interested in the 'eye candy' as she likes to put it" they tease back Which earns a snort from Kyle. “Yea seems ready to jump anything that looks her way” he states partly amused as he goes back to sipping his beer. Nervous laughter arose from the humans at their ambassador's gentle teasing of Nadia. She accepted it gracefully, raising her glass in cheerful concession.
"You got me there, boss. What can I say - alien ships, alien bars, alien hotties. A girl's gotta have her fun!" Taylor managed a half-smile at her friend's antics, tension easing slightly as others diverted focus her way. "Thanks, everyone. I know you're just looking out for me. It's been a rough week… plus this on top of it" Her gaze softened gratefully.
Nadia leans in to Taylor with a smile that could only spell touch. And both Kyle and the Ambassador know what's about to come out of her mouth. "Sooo.. who wants to play smash or pass?" Kyle and another one of the mechanics shoot her a look as if to go ‘really?’.
In the background curious optics watch the rowdy group of humans, some ears dropping in on the conversation others only shooting looks over when one of them gets over vocal.
"Ooh, I love this game!" Millian crowed, bouncing mischievously in his seat. "Lay it on us, Nads - who's first on the bot buffet?"
Skids’ optics go wide from his own seat as he turns around to watch the commotion over at the other table, partially intrigued after the last late night bar conversation with some of the other mechs, he gives Hound a slight nudge as if to get him to look over at the other Table.
Their ambassador sighed fondly. "As your head officer, I should discourage such fraternisation... but as your friend, please try not to get yourselves into trouble God forbid I have to do the sign off overbone of you trying to get cosy with the crew." Nadia cackled, unrepentantly salacious. "Hey, no kink shame in my smash or pass!”
They go around the table multiple times asking each person a bot to smash or pass little to their knowledge or drunken state had they realised quite a few of the bots listening in on their conversation. "You lot are a bunch of menaces, I swear if I have to drag you out of the bed of one of these good mechs because you got to grabby I'm not going to be happy" they state in a playful tease as they begin drinking their own drink.
The humans cackled irreverently at their ambassador's mock threats. "Aw, don't be like that boss!" crowded Millian. "We're just havin' a little fun gettin' to know the local talent. No harm in window shoppin', right?"
"Speak for yourself," Nadia shot back with a wink. "Some of us plan to do more than just look. A girl's on a schedule, after all - and these mechs are some mighty fine cuts of steel!"
Ratchet shoots the group A rather disapproving look knowing if anything happened he'd have to deal with the fallout. The ambassador shoots him a look with a shake of their head while sipping their drink. They knew their group weren't exactly being subtle about it.
Kyle groaned and hid his face, though the tips of his ears still burned hot. Even Taylor was gradually relaxing into laughter again. Catching their ambassador's imploring gaze, Taylor smiled ruefully. "Don't worry boss - I'll make sure this lot don't embarrass us too badly, we don't want a redo of what happened with Kyle and David. And if anyone does end up, er, occupied for the night... Well, I'm sure security footage could be omitted from our reports. For diplomatic purposes."
“Oh my God, one time, I go to see Kyle one fuckin time” David huffs in embrassment while pressing his face into his hands. It's Millian who realises who the ambassador's eyes are lingering On before they make a sly comment about it. “Ohhh got eyes on the old medic?” They tease before Nadia speaks up. “Mmmm bet he'd have a lot of experience, bet he'd be real nice in bed” she purrs while her eyes dance across his plating.
One of the Bluestreak begins choking on his drink of high grade earning him a laugh from a smokescreen who slaps him on the back. He curses as he tries to make it seem that he wasn't ears dropping on the conversation. Nadia's keen eyes noticed the bot choking on high grade at the adjacent table.
She grinned, nudging her friends eagerly. "Hey, I think we've got an audience! That mech over there started glitching when talk turned to after-hours bump and grind."
Heads swivelled covertly, giggling and pointing out the bot now sporting a rather flustered frame as his companion gleefully slapped his plating while laughing at him.
"My, seems our alien friends find human proclivities just as intriguing as we do theirs," Kyle noted dryly.
Millian snickered into their drink. "Bet they've never met a crew so eager to sample the merchandise firsthand."
Nadia stretched lavishly. "What can I say - we aim to broaden cultural exchange through... hands-on cooperation." Her grin turned downright feline.
“Not that type of hands on cooperation Nadia, but I do appreciate the enthusiasm of building decent relations with our crew” The Ambassador states as their comm link goes off with an incoming call, they sigh when they read the message that pings through. ‘Needed on command deck due to an incident involving Rodimus and Daniel’. The Ambassador sighs before getting up. "I've got head, got another Accident report I've got to go process due to our captain's Asteroid surfing again" they state while moving from the table, their attentions were diverted as their ambassador rose from the table with a resigned sigh.
"Duty calls, it seems. You lot try and stay out of trouble while I'm gone, please? I'd hate to have to bail any of you out of the brig for 'cultural exchange' gone too far." They fixed Nadia with an arched brow ridge before departing with a chuckle.
"Tch, spoilsport," Nadia huffed affectionately. "Care to place bets on how long it takes our ambassador to get sick of Roddy's scrap and maroon him for good?" Kyle scoffs as he takes a drink. "With the amount of times the Ambassador gets called away you'd think it's a cover up story" he states as the alcohol begins going to his head. David Shakes his head as leans against Kyle.
Nadia's eyes gleamed deviously at Kyle's insinuation, while Millian and Taylor look at him with a shocked look. “No… you don't think..?” Taylor starts
"Oooh, sneaky! You may be onto something there, flyboy." Nadia tapped her chin thoughtfully.
"Let's think - who've they been spending an awful lot of 'alone time' with lately..."
"Rodimus is always dragging them to the bridge for 'meetings'," offered Millian with wiggle-voiced air quotes.
Taylor giggled behind her hand. "I've seen Drift approach them in the halls an unusual number of times..."
"Megatron's been having private strategy sessions, he says," mused Kyle slyly.
Their giggling swelled into raucous laughter and speculation at the myriad possibilities. It's only when Swerve makes his way back over to ask if anyone else wants new drinks that the drunken lot of humans continue to giggle, laugh and speculate.
Swerve's audials perked as he drew near the boisterous human table, curiosity piqued by their spirited discussion, he leaned in eagerly.
"Oho, sounds like you cheeky fleshies are having all the fun over here! Care to let ol' Swerve in on the gossip?" He flashed a playfully pleading grin. "A bot's gotta live vicariously through someone, after all."
"Trust us, handsome, you don't wanna know," Nadia snickered salaciously, tossing back her last shot. David smiles, swirling his drink. "We were just speculating on who might be keeping our dear ambassador... occupied during their frequent 'calls'." He made air quotes with his free hand.
"Oooh!" Swerve's optics flashed with glee as implications dawned. He lowered his vocalizer conspiratorially. "Do tell! I love a good intra-ship romance." Quite a few bots seem to lean in and listen in hope that it might be their name that people speculated.

I've seen a few stories about the reader being Eddie's secret admirer but what about the other way around? Eddie is your secret admirer and leaves you little notes in your locker. He praises you and encourages you-- maybe a little pick-me-up when you're feeling down. Occasionally he'll slip small gifts into your backpack. Anything to see you smile :)
I love this idea. This is going to be a little self-indulgent, not gonna lie.
Warnings: TOOTH. ROTTING. FLUFF. a lil angst, insecure reader, no use of pronouns, no use of 'y/n', Eddie's a little bit of an idiot, very low-key stalker!Eddie, Robin, mentions of unrequited feelings (it's rumored he likes Chrissy), not proofread so most likely grammar and spelling errors (sorry)
Word Count: 3923
Eddie Munson was absolutely enamored by you. He didn't quite know what it was that drew him to you. You weren't part of the popular crowd, you only had your small group of friends, and you always seemed to be so... self-conscious - or so he noticed.
Maybe that was where he got the idea in the first place.
He noticed you were especially quiet one day. Head down, headphones over your ears as you wrote seamlessly in your journal. He wondered what you were writing about, what you were listening to, and why you had a small frown etched onto your face.
Had someone said something to you?
You suddenly raised your hand.
His head snapped forward.
Had you caught him staring? Were you going to say something? Humiliate him? He pictured a thousand ways this could go.
"May I go to the restroom, please?" you asked, timidly.
But, that wasn't one of them.
"Quickly please..." the teacher granted.
You got up and walked out of the classroom. Eddie glanced over at your journal, a pen in between the pages, bookmarking where you left off. He bit his lip, concentrating on something before a lightbulb lit up in his mind. He glimpsed at the teacher than at the door before ripping a small piece of paper out of his notebook. His tongue ever-so-slightly poked out as he scribbled down something in a hurry before leaning over to slip it in between the pages of your journal.
The bell rang right when you stepped back into the classroom, giving Eddie the perfect opportunity to leave undetected. He smoothly slipped passed you, your shoulders brushing each other's. It sent sparks up through his body. The feeling lingered and he couldn't wipe the smile off his face.
He wanted to watch your reaction, but that would risk giving him away. He forced himself away, already planning his next plan of action.
You on the other hand were in shock.
Good job on the test. I saw you got an A. You're too smart for the rest of this school... and too pretty. - Love, your secret admirer <3
Your eyebrows furrowed a little. Neither one of this person's statements were necessarily true. There were people way prettier than you here, not to mention smarter. But, nonetheless it was nice to hear. It brought a smile to your face, but it slowly fell.
Surely, this is a joke.
You were surprised to say the least the next morning when you opened your locker and a note fluttered down, out and onto the floor. You leaned down to pick it up and carefully looked around whilst standing upright. You unfolded the piece of paper.
Did I mention you were pretty in my last note? I did't mean to sound creepy - not to say you aren't pretty because you are very pretty, I could stare at you all day. Don't read that. - Love, your secret, not creepy, admirer :)
You giggled at the slight awkwardness the writing held. It was almost endearing. Key word: Almost. You still couldn't help but think this was some kind of joke.
"What's that?" Robin asked, pointing to the note in your hand.
"Wha-oh nothing!" You stuck it in your pocket.
"Oooo, does someone have a secret admirer?" she teased
"What?! No, that's-that's silly," you denied "It was just trash, something from an old assignment."
"Uh huh, sure."
"Robin!" you scolded, annoyed. "I'm being serious."
She put her hands up in surrender. "Whatever. You. Say."
You rolled your eyes, as the two of you began to walk side-by-side to your first period.
"But, if it is a secret admirer, who do you think it is? Who do you want it to be?"
"Look." You stopped walking, cuing Robin to also stop. "Even if it is something, it's probably a joke. One of the jocks playing some cruel prank on me." You glanced behind you and saw none other than Eddie Munson standing there staring at you. You smiled when you met his eyes.
His eyes widened a slight blush creeping up onto his cheeks, as he rushed off.
Robin caught the interaction. "What was that all about?" she asked, excitedly.
"Nothing!"
"What if it's him?"
"Who? Eddie?"
"Yes, Eddie!"
You shook your head. "No. That can't be possible, wasn't it rumored he liked Chrissy a couple of months ago?" You started to walk again.
"Firstly, that was a couple of months ago, and secondly, it was 'rumored'. It was never confirmed."
"Doesn't sound unreasonable to me," you said, not trying to sound too upset. "Guys like Eddie, don't like girls like me."
"You want it to be him, don't you?"
"Forget it, it's not important. What is important is the Econ test."
Robin groaned loudly, reluctantly stepping into the classroom. You turned back to where Eddie was previously standing and with a loud sigh you entered the classroom.
Eddie's eyes were glued to you in the cafeteria. You were cheerfully talking to Robin about something and his heart couldn't help but flutter at the way your eyes lit up. What he'd give to be able to talk with you, and listen to that sweet voice of yours for hours.
He watched, intently, as your eyes suddenly caught your reflection on something. He saw the way you slumped before attempting to sit up more. The grimace on your face growing more evident by the second.
Why the Hell were you looking at the love of his life that way?
He ripped out a piece of paper and wrote something down. Standing up, he stormed out of the cafeteria and to your locker where he slipped the note in. He scanned his surroundings and saw no one around to ruin the secret before it had really even started. Whistling, as he goes to his locker. He opened it when a note fell from it. He picked it up and read it.
Meet me in the woods at 12:15 tomorrow. Bring whatever you have. - C.C.
C.C.? His eyes widened in realization.
Chrissy Cunningham wants to do a drug deal?
You smiled, softly, when you saw your secret admirer had left you yet another note.
No matter what you think, you look absolutely beautiful today - and everyday. I like you in blue. - Love, your secret admirer <3
You felt as though you were in a daze. You looked down at your blue sweater which - until now - you felt like a blimp in. Guess, whoever your secret admirer is thought otherwise. You bite your lip and tucked the note in between the pages of your journal where you'd keep - like all the rest of them - it there for safe keeping.
"Anymore love letters?" Robin asked, scaring you.
"Don't do that!" You put a hand over your heart as if it'd help slow it down from its rapid pace. "Yeah, if you consider them love letters."
"Do you want me to try to help you figure them out?"
"If you say-"
"I'll start. Eddie."
"Robin!" You slam your locker and walk away. "It's not him."
"Talk to him, be friendly, see what happens-hey, I might be right!"
"That would be the first."
"Hey!" She grabbed your shoulder to stop you. "I know it's really hard to be brave because you're scared of what the outcome could be, but think about it-if this person is being genuine, you might have something really special here."
You sigh. "I'll think about it, okay?"
Robin grins, widely. "Now, start with Eddie."
You roll your eyes. "Fine, but only to get you off my back, and cross him off the list."
It can't be him, it's impossible.
You sat down at your usual seat, now being awkwardly aware it's next to Eddie's seat. You pull out your journal, smiling when you see the note previous notes you've received. You turn back to your backpack to grab your pen but are surprised to see that there is a new set of pens next to your pencil bag. You pull it out and observe it. They were nice, really nice. One in blue, pink, red, black, orange, green, and purple. A note attached to them.
Thought you might like these since you write so much. I noticed you color code things sometimes so I bought you a couple of different colors to give you some options. Hope you like them - Love, your secret - now broke - admirer.
You laugh, pleasantly surprised. You remembered leaving your backpack on a chair in the cafeteria that morning while you used the bathroom. You tend to forget to go at home due oversleeping, leading to the frantic rush of trying to get ready in time.
Eddie perked up hearing the sound of your laughter beside him making him look over. His breath hitched in his throat - you liked his note, you liked him present, you were liking him. He cleared his throat. "What's that you got?"
You froze for a moment. "Huh?" You looked at Eddie.
He pointed toward the note. "Got a secret admirer or something?"
You bit back a smile. "Something like that." You couldn't hide your giddiness.
Eddie found it absolutely adorable. "Any ideas of who it is?"
"Nope, not a clue." You narrowed your eyes at him. "Wouldn't be you, would it?"
Eddie nearly choked, but he somehow held his composure. "Sorry, sweetheart, but it is not."
You shrugged, not even noticing the slip of the pet name in his answer. "I figured."
He gave you a confused expression. "You-you figured?"
"Well, yeah, everyone knows you-" you leaned closer toward him. "You like Chrissy," you whispered.
He gaped at you. "Chrissy?"
"Yeah."
"Where on Earth did you hear that?"
"People were talking about it a couple of months ago. Don't tell me it's not true."
His posture straightened. "What if I told you it wasn't?"
You weakly smiled. "I'd call you a liar," you replied, softly. Paying attention to the teacher as she started the class.
It made it so you didn't catch the way Eddie sunk further into his seat.
What had he done?
That was his chance to tell you how he felt, and he blew it.
Chrissy Cunningham?
Now, all he thought about for the rest of class was the fact that he was having a drug deal with his so-called 'crush' tomorrow in the woods.
Wasn't it obvious he was in love with you?
The answer is no, no it wasn't because if it was maybe you would've already pulled the plug and ask him out, but you hadn't and you wouldn't especially not after his lack of denial for liking Chrissy Cunningham.
Robin was wrong.
"You were wrong," you said to Robin, passing by her quickly in the hallway.
It was the next day, the bell for the lunch period had rung just a few seconds ago and you were briefly explaining your avoidance to your best friend.
"But, I'm never wrong!" she claimed in a shout over the crowd. "He's lying!"
You rolled your eyes, leaving the hustle and bustle of students going to the cafeteria. You needed to be alone. Alone in your thoughts, where it's just you and your journal... and maybe a few tears.
Because though Robin may have been wrong about it being Eddie, she wasn't wrong about you wanting it to be Eddie. You had gotten a note from your secret admirer yesterday before school ended saying,
I know you don't know who I am, but I need you to know I like you... a lot. And I know we don't talk that much, but I want to, because you are so amazing and why wouldn't I want to be with you? Who wouldn't want to be with you? Everyday I question myself on why I haven't bit the bullet yet and asked you out and it's because I'm afraid. Of how you'd react, of how others would react, and I don't want to risk having you hate me. Which I doubt you would anyways because you're you, the nicest person I've ever spoken to. So, please, give me time to work up the courage, don't give up on me, I don't think I could take it. I'm done now, maybe this scared you off - probably scared you off... um... bye- your secret admirer.
You thought back to how your heart squeezed as you read every word. You wished you knew who it was, so you could put their mind at peace. So, you could put your mind at peace.
You found yourself in the woods, setting your stuff down on the wooden table that was placed in the most secluded part of the area. Hardly no one goes out there. It was a place you could allow yourself to pace around and think things through.
Who is it?
That was the number one question. You attempted to conjure a mental list of possible candidates but you always drew a blank every time you tried.
Who would ever like-
You screamed as your back collided into something behind you. You spun around.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you," Eddie chuckled, holding out a hand.
"Eddie? Wh-what are you doing out here?"
"Confidential," he said, analyzing your overall physical presence. "You okay?" he asked.
"Define 'okay'." You dryly laugh, sitting down at the table.
He frowned and sat across from you, setting his metal lunchbox next to your stuff. "You want to tell me about it? Or do I have to guess?"
You rest your forearms on the table. "Do you ever feel like-like you don't fit in?"
He looked taken aback. "On-like-a daily basis," he answered, a wide smile taking over his face, directed toward you. "You forget you're talking to 'the freak', sweetheart."
You groaned softly.
That made his smile falter. "Why d'you ask?"
You shrugged, suddenly your hands become fascinating as you stared at them fidgeting. "Guess I haven't been feeling-" You cleared your throat, "-great about myself lately, that's all?"
He propped himself up slightly on the table. "Something happen?"
"More like someone." You glanced up at him to gauge at his expression. It held concern. You carelessly threw your hands up. "You know that admirer I spoke about the other day?"
He nodded, slowly. "Yeah."
"I've been wracking my mind trying to figure out who it is, and I just... can't. Sometimes I believe I'm a little unlovable at times."
"What?!" he blurted. "Sweetheart, that's not true, you are so lovable!"
You grew very confused by his sudden outburst, but he didn't seem to catch on as he continued.
He stood up and walked over to your side of the table to sit next to you. To have your full attention. "You are smart, funny, talented and so, so beautiful." Your heart skipped a beat. "God, who wouldn't want to be with you?"
Your eyes shot up to meet his. "What did you say?"
"Huh?" He tilted his head. "You-you didn't hear any of that?"
"No-yes! I mean what did you say at the end?"
"Who wouldn't want to be with you?" he repeated unsure.
Why wouldn't I want to be with you? Who wouldn't want to be with you? You recalled from the note.
"Eddie?" you called out in the same tone as his previous one.
"Yeah?"
"I'm going to ask you this one last time, and I want you to tell me the truth." You took in a deep breath. "Are you the person who has been writing to me?"
He suddenly turned pale. His eyes nervously flickered away from yours. "Ummm..." He couldn't seem to form any words. "Maybe-well-I-um..."
You shifted a little closer to him.
His eyes moved back to focus on you and how close you've gotten. "Hi," he whispered, taking in every single inch of your face. Every flaw and imperfection.
So goddamn beautiful.
He exhaled shakily. It fanned your face causing your eyes to flutter shut. Both of you gravitating toward each other unknowingly. Your noses barely brushed each others when another voice broke the silence.
"Am I interrupting something?"
You abruptly moved away from Eddie and met the eyes of none other than Chrissy Cunningham. You gaze averted to Eddie who looked rather frantic and disheveled.
"Confidential," he said.
Oh.
"Oh," you said aloud. "No-I-um-I was just leaving." You rapidly gathered your stuff.
Eddie watched helplessly, instinctively reaching out to grab you, to stop you, but you dodged it. He got up to try again, this time he was able to catch your hand, gently grasping it. He leaned toward you. "It's just a drug deal, I swear," he said, lowly. "You have to believe me." His eyes pleaded.
You dared a glimpse at Chrissy. She looked uncomfortable as she scanned her surroundings as if anyone could be watching. At that moment it didn't seem like a lie, but at the same time your mind brought you back to the rumor, and the fact that you didn't know if that was a lie or not.
You formed your lips into a tight-line. "I'll see you around, Eddie," you bit back before pulling away and storming off.
Eddie debated on running after you, but instead he took in a sharp breath before shooting a fake smile at Chrissy. "So... let's get started, shall we?"
Your foot tapped against the tiled floors. Peering straight in front of you, not really paying attention to the lesson. How could you when you felt Eddie's eyes on you the entire time next to you? From your peripheral vision you saw Eddie writing something down on a sheet of paper. He slid his foot over to nudge yours, trying to get your attention to take the paper out of his hands.
The devil won the argument in this case as you carefully grabbed it and set it down on your desk.
Can we talk, please?
After reading it, you grabbed your pen and wrote back.
What is there to talk about?
You handed him back the sheet of paper without looking at him. You heard him sigh loudly along with a scribble of something. He pushed the paper back into your hands.
I need you to know the full story. Five minutes? That's all I'm asking for.
You thought through it. You clicked your pen twice then wrote a response.
Fine.
He let out a breath of relief.
Thank you. Meet me by my van at 4pm.
Your eyebrow quirked up.
Are you planning on kidnapping me?
If that's what it takes to get you to listen to me Does 4pm work for you?
I read that. And yes, that works for me.
Eddie's hope grew a little at your words. He prayed - to whichever god was out there, ones in which he didn't believe in - that he didn't ruin what hasn't even had the chance to begun.
'Cause God, he's in love with you.
You stood by his van with your arms crossed. The front of your shoe kicking a nearby pebble. Eddie rushed over to you.
"You're late," you said.
He looked down at his watch. 4:10, he read. "I'm sorry."
"For what? Being late or....?"
"Everything," he paused. "You know when you told me that thing about me liking Chrissy I knew I messed up."
You shifted your weight to one side. "How so?"
"Because, I thought it was so obvious how I felt for you. I thought people saw it from miles away, but I guess showing my feelings is just another thing I fail at doing in my life."
You frowned.
He continued, "I hope you know now that I've always liked you." He bit his lip. "Man, I think I liked you before I even knew I liked you." He chuckled. "I was scared though, even if you said you felt the same I was scared you'd back away once you realized what a freak I am. I'm not someone who can give you everything you've wanted... but I would try."
You smiled a little. "Eddie, I don't like you because I thought you could give me the world, I like you because-as corny as this sounds-you are my world. I never believed in the how soulmates thing, but ever since I met you, it was always you. And I have to admit I wanted you to be my admirer so bad, but my life-it never seems to go easy on me, so the first thing I thought was that it was a joke, and then when it seemed to be becoming more real and Robin of all people was telling me how she thought it was you... I didn't want to give into the hope. Then you told me it wasn't you, and I didn't have any proof to convince me otherwise."
"I'm your world?" he asked, breathless.
"That's all you got from that?" you joked.
He shook his head. "No, but it definitely was the part that lingered the longest."
"Eddie, I-"
"I meant every word I wrote, and it wasn't even half the things I've wanted to say to you for so long. Because there's so much I want to tell you, and we have so much to make up for, but that's only if you want me."
You opened your mouth then closed it. Finally you spoke, "Where do we start?"
He broke out into a large smile. "You mean it?"
"Yeah," you reply, mimicking his smile.
The two of you stared at each other for a few moments.
"You can kiss me now, if you want," you said.
"Oh, thank fuck," he breathed.
He leaned in, cupping your jaw to bring you lips to meet his. You breathed him in immediately, the smell of cigarettes, cologne, and a hint of mint clogging your nose. Delightfully suffocating you in his warmth. You wrapped your arms around his neck to bring him closer as the two of your fell in a fast rhythm, making up for at least some of the lost time, then slow and steady to savor the moment as this was something neither one of them every wanted to forget. Ever.
A note fluttered out of your locker.
"Another one?" Robin groaned.
You picked it up with a lovesick smile plastered onto your face. "Don't sound so annoyed Robin, you should be pleased."
"Just because I'm always right, doesn't mean I like to be always right."
"You're right. You love to be always right," you quip back, unfolding the piece of paper.
Morning sweetheart, just wanted to say I love you and I can't wait for our date tonight. - Love, Eddie.
"Why can't he just tell you that when he see's you at school today?" Robin asked.
You dreamily sigh. "He wanted to keep the memory of how we got together alive, so we decided to continue writing each other notes. It doesn't matter what we say in them." You eyes met Eddie's figure a few feet away from you. "It's the thought that matters." With that last word to Robin, you run toward Eddie who immediately picks you up and spins you around.
"How are you doing today?" he asked.
"Good!" you chirped. "I got your note."
"Oh, did you? Have any thoughts about it? Responses?"
"A few..." You smiled, and pecked his cheek, making him blush profusely. "I love you too."

For the Top Gun requests, I think a fun scenario would be Jake/Hangman introducing his wife to the rest of his crew/friends and they’re shocked at how he was able to win over such a sweet and humble woman since you know how he can be sometimes. I think his wife would so wear the pants in the relationship and it would be funny 😂😂
Pairing: Jake 'Hangman' Seresin x Fem!Reader A/N: This accidentally ended up with me writing 2k+ words. I loved writing this and this request. Thank you so much for sending it in!
“Now, the guys can be a little much sometimes, but they’re not harmful and they’re not gonna do any damage, okay?” Jake says, giving your hand a squeeze as you walk towards the bar.
You smile at him. “I can handle myself, Jake. I’ll be fine.”
For the majority of your relationship, you and Jake have been doing long distance while he worked or had been deployed. That meant that you’ve never actually had the chance to meet any of his work friends before, just the ones from back home.
He seems to be more nervous about it than you are.
“Yeah, I know you can, but I’m just saying. You’re about to walk into a bar full of overconfident aviators and I want you to be prepared.”
“Jake,” you scoff, “I think I’m married to the most overconfident aviator out of all of them. I don’t think they can beat you in that category.”
He can’t disagree with you on that one. “Overconfident for a reason, gorgeous,” he smirks.
The two of you reach the front door of the bar and Jake opens the door for you, letting you go inside first before following you. As soon as you step inside you can tell that this is definitely Jake’s scene. The music is loud, but not too loud. There are groups crowded around pool tables and the bar itself, all talking and laughing. A few of them look over at the two of you and give Jake a wave or a nod. He’s popular here among all the aviators, and for good reason.
Jake tugs your hand and starts leading you over to the windows looking out towards the beach. You can see the sunset over the waves and have to admit it’s beautiful, and definitely a perfect place to have a bar.
Your eyes settle on the group standing around one of the pool tables just as one of them spots Jake.
“Hangman, finally decided to join us, hey?” He calls out, stepping forward and slapping Jake on the back as a greeting. His eyes settle on you. “Hold on a damn minute, is this…?”
Jake smiles proudly. “Yeah, figured it was time you all meet her.”
You stop beside him and Jake tugs you closer to his side.
“Someone decided to take some time off and come visit,” he said, nodding down to you. “Guys, this is my wife.” He introduces you by name, and then introduces everyone to you. The friend that had greeted you had been Coyote, or Javy. You remember hearing Jake talk about him from time to time.
Natasha steps forward to shake your hand, smiling at the sight of another woman. “Callie and I are especially happy to have you here,” she says, “We’re a little outnumbered.”
You shake her hand and smile at her words. “Oh, I’ve heard about you from Jake. From what he’s told me, you definitely seem the coolest out of all these men.”
“I like her,” Natasha says, directing her words to Jake before stepping back to the pool table to finish off her turn. “Can she stay?”
Jake chuckles and leads you over to one of the barstools up against the wall so you can sit down. He leans down close to you. “You want a drink? You wanna come with or stay here with the guys?”
“I’ll just have my usual,” you tell him. “I’ll be all right here.”
He gives your hand a squeeze before letting go and heading over to the bar to get you both your drinks.
Javy comes and sits on one of the stools beside you.
“So, you’re the one Jake’s been head over heels with for all this time, huh?” He grins. “Swear I’ve spent hours hearing him talk about you. It’s nice to finally meet you.”
“It’s nice to meet you too,” you reply. “I’ve heard a lot about you as well. About all of you. I would have met you all a long time ago if I could have, but you know how it is.”
Javy nods. “Better late than never, though.”
“That’s true,” you hum. “So, Jake – you two have been friends for a while now, huh? Any fun stories about him you think I should know?”
He laughs. “Been friends since before we could fly, so hell yeah I have stories. I don’t know if you’d like to hear them all though.”
“Oh, yeah?” You’re suddenly intrigued. You trust Jake completely, you always have, even with the long distance between you both. You’d married the man knowing you’d still have to do long distance for a bit afterwards, but this part of his life was one you’d missed out on.
“Nothing bad, though,” he shakes his head. “Nah, Jake’s loyal. Just… picture him sitting right here, drunk off his ass and talking about nothing else except his girlfriend back home and how much he loves her. He’d sit here and show me photos of the two of you for hours.”
You raise your eyebrows and scan the bar, spotting Jake on his way back to you. That was what he’d end up doing whenever he’d texted you telling you he was heading out to the bar with friends?
Jake stops in front of you, cutting off your conversation with Javy, and hands your drink to you. “You having a good time talking to my girl, Javy?” His words are in jest.
“Yeah, just telling her all about your drunken nights out, man.”
Jake raises his eyebrows. “Hey, I’m a responsible drunk,” he says. “I’ve done nothing that she doesn’t already know about.”
“I beg to differ,” you smile, taking a sip of your drink and then looking up at him. “You never told me you drunkenly showed photos of me to Javy for hours on end.”
He opens his mouth to defend himself, but then realises that he both can’t and doesn’t want to. Yeah, he had done that, and yeah, he had spent hours talking about you when he was drunk. But he saw absolutely nothing wrong with that. “Nothing to be embarrassed about on my part,” he shrugs. “I somehow landed the most beautiful woman in the world, so why wouldn’t I wanna tell everyone I love her and show everyone how stunning she is?”
He sits down on the stool beside you and reaches out a hand to gently squeeze your thigh. You smile up at him, feeling more in love with him now than you probably ever had in your whole life.
Natasha, who has been listening in on your conversation ever since Jake reappeared, steps towards the three of you. “No, cause I am curious, Hangman – how did you end up with her? She’s been nothing but sweet ever since she showed up here tonight. I haven’t heard a single sarcastic comment, and that’s nearly always what comes out of your mouth.”
You can’t help but laugh a little at her words. Jake did love his sarcastic comments, and he was usually always just a little too honest. You were glad to see that his friends here got to see that side of him as well, even if it probably got on their nerves sometimes like it used to get on yours – especially when you first met each other.
“Well, to tell you the truth, Phoenix, I owe it all to my good looks and my charm,” Jake says, taking a swig of his beer. “It’s just that simple. How could she not fall in love with me?”
His words make you want to laugh. While this side of Jake wasn’t the one you’d fallen in love with – you’d fallen for him because of his sweeter, softer side – you did love this side of him, and you especially loved seeing other peoples reactions to it. His friends here were all used to it, though, and it made you feel more at home among them.
You turn to Jake, smiling. “Very humble of you, honey.”
“It comes naturally to me,” he grins in reply.
Javy and Natasha both roll their eyes, but you can see on their faces that they’re amused by Jake’s attitude.
“All I’m saying is I’m surprised you married someone as nice as her,” Natasha says, heading back over to the pool table after Fanboy calls out to let her know it’s her turn again.
Jake raises his eyebrows at you. “I’m not surprised.”
Your face is starting to hurt from smiling so much and you lean back against the wall and take a long sip of your drink, looking around at all of Jake’s friends and watching them playing pool for a while while Jake and Javy start to talk about something work related.
He doesn’t forget you’re there, though. His spare hand finds yours and entwines your fingers together. That’s something about Jake Seresin you’d never expected – the fact that he loves physical contact. Holding hands, an arm around your waist, anything.
As the night goes on, the bar gets busier and the windows behind you darken as the sky turns into a dark blue, dusted with stars. The pool game ends and another one begins. More drinks are bought and consumed and you’re introduced to even more people that Jake knows. It’s about 10pm by the time one of the most talked about members of the group arrives – Bradley Bradshaw, also known as Rooster.
Jake, still holding your hand, introduces you to him when he ends up near you both.
Bradley extends a hand for you to shake, which you do, and then looks between the two of you. “Never thought I’d actually see the day where Jake Seresin settled down and got married, if I’m being honest.”
His words surprise you, but there’s nothing unkind about them. It’s more like he’s just surprised.
“Well, at least one of us can maintain a healthy relationship and create a base for a loving, long lasting future and marriage,” Jake fires back quickly.
You squeeze his hand tightly. “Hey, that’s not nice. Don’t say stuff like that.”
Jake opens his mouth to explain to you that he didn’t mean anything by it, that he was just joking around and that Bradley knows that and wouldn’t take any offence to his words, but Bradley beats him to it.
“My God,” he shakes his head, looking between the two of you with a smile on his lips. “I can’t believe you’ve married someone who doesn’t let you wear the pants in the relationship, Hangman.” He claps his hand down on Jake’s shoulder. “It’ll be good for you, man.”
And with that, he laughs to himself, shakes his head and wanders off to get a drink.
Jake turns to look at you, his mouth open slightly in shock and confusion.
You, however, can’t stop smiling, watching Bradley as he stands at the bar, ordering his drink. “I like him,” you admit. “I don’t know why you used to text me all the time about how much you hated him. I think he’s fun.”
Jake blinks. “Darlin’, don’t forget you’re married to me and not him now, will you?”
You move your eyes back to Jake’s. “There’s no chance I’d ever forget I married you, honey.” You lean in and gently peck his lips. “I’m just saying, I like hi–”
Your words are cut off by Jake cupping your head with his free hand and bringing your lips back to his in a kiss that is definitely not a peck on the lips. His lips move against yours until you’re both forced to pull away, a little out of breath.
“What, do you have a problem with me wearing the pants in our relationship?” You ask.
Jake shakes his head. “Not at all, gorgeous. Just felt like kissing my girl. You got a problem with that?” He raises his eyebrows at you. One of his hands has found yours again, but instead of holding it, he’s running a finger over the wedding ring on your finger.
“No problems at all,” you smile. “Now, what does the most handsome aviator in the room say to kissing me again?”
Amusement sparks in Jake’s eyes. “Oh, I think he can organise that.”

oops | peter parker
tw: spidey senses be letting homeboy down
summary: you're just a bit clumsy.
being popular had never been necessary to you. that being said, landing a spot in flash and liz's clique was more of a... mistake, really, than anything else. looking upon it now, as you did every other time, you cringed so hard.
since 7th grade, you'd had the most massive crush on peter parker. it all started when he'd lent you a pencil in math class. why you thought that to be attractive, you weren't sure. but it was. and you hadn't ever been very coordinated around him, to say the least. that year, you'd been partnered with him for a art project. at first, you were very excited, but didn't know that you wouldn't be able to get two words out around him.
the boy had always been picked on by flash, that wasn't news to anyone. when you had accidentally knocked over the glass of bright red paint and spilt it all over the front of his shirt, everyone laughed. they laughed because they thought you did it on purpose. they laughed because they thought it was funny. and they laughed because peter had started crying.
god, that was the most terrible day of your life.
and the worst part?
you had heard him and ned gushing over the new starwars shirt, and that he'd finally saved up enough allowance to buy it (the shirt was limited addition, and was more expensive than it needed to be) earlier that day.
the next day, you tried your hardest to explain it him that it really was just an accident, but he had made it a point to stay away from you, because the poor kid thought you were trying to bully him. not only that, but flash and his clique started to hang out around you, they claimed it was because what you had done was "epic" and "took crazy guts."
his group consisted of liz, gwen, cindy, harry, and himself. and since you had no other friends, you just let it be.
then in 8th grade, you accidentally insulted him, you were trying to make small talk, but ended up humiliating him in front of the entire grade. you'd never forget his bright red face, twisted in embarrassment, tears filling his eyes as he tried to desperately blink them back. that too, you were applauded for by your friends.
basically, every singled time (yes, there were more, but they were not to be spoken about) you'd ended up hurting him. so eventually in freshman, you'd stayed away, fantasizing from afar.
currently you were fantasizing from the bleachers, staring at peter as he did curl-ups as ned kept his feet in place.
"and i know, right? zach is so hot!" liz squealed.
cindy nodded aggressively, "he's so asking you out to the dance, trust me. ooh! i forgot to tell you! harry finally asked me. but i guess i kinda already figured that he would."
dazed, you looked up, "huh? figured who out?"
"that you like peter parker," cindy shrugged.
"yeah, but- wait, what?"
she rolled her eyes, "you've literally been checking him out all period. dude, he totally got a glow-up! did you see his abs?"
yes. duh. what do you think i've been staring at?
you hummed in response instead. "well?"
"well, what, liz?"
"are you gonna ask him?"
"no! he hates me!"
"how do you know?" cindy countered.
"because i bully him!"
"yeah," liz nodded, "i was actually gonna ask about that. do you have, like, a degradation kink or something?"
"one, that's not how those work. two, i didn't mean to do all that... i just... i freeze up around him."
"leave it to our girl to crush on a dork," the korean girl giggled.
"he's not a dork."
they rose an eyebrow at you.
"okay, well, still," you defended, "he's cute."
"girls!" a voice boomed, "you done gossiping?"
"stupid coach," you muttered, before stepping off the bleachers with your friends.
coach doss looked around, clearly last minute planning something. "uh, okay, let's do dodgeball. two teams, a and b. cindy, a. liz, b. harry, a. y/n, b. peter, a," he continued but you ignored that.
you and peter were on opposite sides. and how would that end? you pushed away those thoughts and pressed your lips together. it was fine, no big deal. just avoid him, right?
you picked up a ball, and stood there. kids were yelling and screaming, and you just stood near the corner, where no one noticed you. soon enough, it was you and just some other kids. your teammates looked at you expectantly, and you being you, panicked, not liking the sudden attention. so you squeezed your eyes tight and threw the ball as hard as you could in a random direction.
only when you heard a crack and a yelp did you look up.
and what had you done?
you'd hit peter right in the face. he was clutching his nose, which was bleeding like hell, and groaning in pain. coach blew his whistle and rushed over.
"good going," liz mouthed and your cheeks burned.
"damn, y/n, definitely busted something," harry whistled.
"oh my god, peter, i'm sorry," you rushed out.
coach doss shook his head. "definitely broken. no worries, l/n, it was an accident. go ahead and take him to the nurse. i'll write you a pass."
no worries?
you nodded and walked up to peter, avoiding any and all eye contact. the two of you walked in silence down the hall until:
"why do you hate me?" he blurted out, sounding equal parts pained and confused.
"no, i-i don't hate you!" you said quickly.
"you don't? but... you've been picking on me since... i dunno, middle school?"
"i don't- that's not-" you and two options, tell the truth or go with it. and peter deserved the truth, no matter how embarrassing it was. you inhaled, and in one breath; "ilikeyoualotijustdon'tknowhowtoactlikeanormalpersomaroundyoiandit'sreally-"
"what?"
"i, uh, i like you. like you, like you."
"is- is this another joke?"
"no!"
"i'm sorry, i don't, it's just... you, um, literally bully me."
"i get really nervous around you," you blushed, "i thought you hated me. because... of that."
"i don't hate you, either."
"really?"
"yeah," he paused for a second, "i liked you, too, but i figured you didn't feel the same because, you know."
"god, this is humiliating. i just freeze up around you. and- i, um, yeah."
"well, i don't hate you. and if you're not messing with me-"
"i'm not," you interrupted.
he smiled, "then i'd really like to hang out with you."
"like a date? o-or not, that's fine, too," you stammered.
"yeah. a date."
"cool."
you stared at him for while, "shit, i'm so sorry i broke your nose!"
he laughed as you took a step closer, brushing your fingers over his cheek. realizing how close you were to him, you jerked back, accidentally hitting his. freaking. nose.
"ow," he said quietly.
"oops."

I Promise I Love You
I always have
RQ "Can you do a Ethan x male reader where reader was bullied in middle school and Ethan was apart if it and they grow up and Ethan changes and becomes a better person and tries to be reader friend but he pushes away but then on his final try Ethan asks him out and reader says yes and yea Tyy"
Warnings: Bullying (obviously), very slight mention of suic!d3
A/N; I needa get a move on with these requests omg
You dreaded going to school everyday. The constant bullying you had to endure with no sort of help was like a living hell. As any normal person would, you told not only your parents, but the principle you were constantly getting bullied, but of course they were no help. Rubbed it off as just some kind of 'boy thing'.
So, throughout your whole middle school, you constantly got hurt physically and mentally. The whole school picked on you, but it wasn't as bad as Ethan and his group of friends. You were always such a vulnerable target for them. Quiet and shy, just what they needed.
"Oh, look what we have here? A little mouse roaming around our school. Y'know they don't like animals in here, right? Like to keep things sanitary." Ethan smirked, a couple of his friends laughing and nudging him in the arm. "C'mon Ethan, can you just leave me alone?" The way you spoke was so vulnerable. So quiet, afraid to speak up.
"Or what, huh? You gonna go cry to your mommy? Not even your fuckin' mom wants to help you. She hates you. Everyone hates you. You aren't worth anyone's time." The only thing you could do was stand still as tears began to build up in your eyes. You threw your head down and tried to walk away, but Ethan only grabbed your shoulder and pushed you into your locker.
But.. just then
"Hey, you good M/N?" Sam asked you, snapping you out of your trance. Fast forward a few years later and you were off to college with some of your friends. You nodded, "Oh yeah, I'm fine. Just thinking bout' something.." You gave her a slight smile before leaving her car. You both arrived at campus to start your first day of college, some of your friends already waiting for you there.
You grabbed your things from her trunk and you both headed into the campus building. You were excited to see who you were rooming with. The anticipation was killing you. When you finally got to the front desk, you were handed your dorm key. 'Room 407' A floor lower than Tara and Sam's.
You opened your dorm room, and surprise surprise, you saw your friend Chad hanging on the couch. “Oh hey! Aren’t we lucky?” Chad smiled at you, “Have you met our other roommate yet?”
“No, we have another roommate?” You were confused since you expected to only be rooming with one person. “Yeah, he should be in his room over there.” Chad pointed towards the closed door with small posters covering it.
You walked towards the door after placing all your belongings in your room, curious to see who else you’d be rooming with. You knocked, “Hey, can i come in? It’s your roommate.” Your tone was soft, worried that they’d be asleep. “Come in.” A voice was heard on the other side of the door.
You turned the doorknob and opened the poster covered door, revealing a tall curly head sitting on a bed. He looked really familiar but you couldn’t put your finger on what it was. He looked up at you with his doughy eyes, “Oh hey, you must be…?” He dragged the ‘be’ on before you replied, “Oh, I’m M/N. M/N L/N, your other roommate.”
He smiled, “Nice to meet you M/N. I’m Ethan. Ethan Landry.” It took you a moment before you realized his name. “Ethan landry as in.. the popular middle school bully from —whatever middle school—?” His eyebrows furrowed and he smiled, “Uh- I used to be.. not anymore. How’d you know..?”
It took him a second before he realized. “Wait- are you..?” He stopped mid sentence as you nodded, “Your little mouse..” You whispered before leaving his room, out of your dorm. Chad questioned why you were leaving, but you gave him no response.
You left to see Tara and Sam, wanting to spend more time with them and less time in your dorm. But as the hours flew by, you knew you’d need to go back to your dorm at some point.
And just before you knew it, you were back at your dorm. Ethan was out making a snack in the kitchen and you tried your best to sneak past him but you were caught after he turned around to walk back to his room.
“Oh, hey M/N. Do you think we can talk?” He asked, walking towards you with his food. “Uhm- not right now. It’s late. I should get to bed.” In reality, it was only around 10 PM but you just wanted to avoid any interactions with him as best as possible.
You walked away before he could say anything else, locking your door and throwing yourself on your bed. The thoughts of your middle school experience came back to you. More specifically, the thoughts of Ethan constantly picking on you flooded your mind.
Though he did seem nicer you weren’t ready to really talk to him. It was all so sudden.
The next day rolled around and you got up early to go on a run around campus. You enjoyed the silence as you ran, the only sounds being your breathing and running.
Eventually you got back to your dorm and was met with a curly haired man as you walked through your dorm door. You tried to get past him but he only grabbed your arm, forcing you to stop walking.
“M/N, please, can we just talk?” His voice pleaded and he sounded so desperate to talk to you. “What is there to talk about, Ethan? I mean you bully me throughout my WHOLE middle school experience and then now you expect me to be friends with you?” Your tone became more aggressive but you sighed, calming yourself down. “Ethan, you made my life a living hell. You made my life so miserable to the point where i was this close to leaving.” You made a pinching gesture with your hand, signaling to him how close you were your final moments.
“I don’t want your friendship, Ethan. What I want is for you to stay the hell alway from me.” And with that you walked away and left back to you room, leaving Ethan’s mouth slightly agape.
But Ethan never left you alone. Day after day, he’d try to get your attention, wanting to build a friendship with you. He was quite the persistent one. But, day after day you’d tell him you weren’t interested in anything he has to say.
Until one day he was fed up with trying to befriend you. In reality he really didn’t want to be friends with you. No, he wanted something more. Like a friends to lovers trope but instead you didn’t want to be friends.. so i guess enemies to lovers?
So, Ethan being the persistent boy he was, he once again tried to get your attention. But this time he didn’t try to get your attention with just words. Instead he bought you your favorite flowers, hoping it’d be enough to at least hear him out.
And it was.
“Ethan how’d you know these were my favorite flowers?” You asked, taking the bouquet of flowers from his hands. “Erm- that’s not important.. what’s important is..” He sighed, “M/N I really like you. I don’t just want to be friends with you, I wanna be lovers. I know that the things I’ve done in the past hurt you but trust me, I’ve changed.”
He placed his arms around your shoulders and you stared at him with an emotionless expression. “Please, give me a chance M/N. I promise I’ll treat you the way I should’ve back in middle school.” Your eyes looked at the ground as you bit your lip. Were you really willing to give a chance to someone who hurt you for the past two years?
He took a deep breath, “Fine Ethan, but I’m giving you one chance, alright? You fuck it up then that’s your loss.” His nervous face lit up and he threw his arms around your waist, pulling you into a hug. You hugged him back hesitantly, flowers still in hand. “Thank you, thank you! I promise I’ll be the best boyfriend towards you.”
He looked at you with a big grin and you couldn’t help but slightly smile. Maybe giving him a chance will be a good decision.

HI i love ur writings for minho so much oh my god they keep me thriving. i was wondering if you’d be up for doing like a modern highschool au with minho where he keeps trying to ask the reader out, and she keeps saying no because she thinks it’s joke, until she confronts him and he gets all serious and tells her it’s not a joke and then there’s a little bit (a lot) of spice at the end🤭🤭
Ooo okay okay, my first AU story, this is definitely going to be a bit different.
Again, assuming fem!reader because pronouns used in the request.
HIGH SCHOOL NOT-SO-SWEETHEARTS
MASTERLIST | MINHO MASTERLIST
SUMMARY: See above. Fem! Studious! High-school! Reader x Popular! High-school! Minho.
WARNINGS: Inappropriate language, the American education system which I simply do not understand or what is taught in American classrooms, spicy content, terrible teenage flirting, kinda of insecure reader, guilty pleasure high school drama tropes, I do not condone Minho's constant questioning of the reader- no means no, guys. No Glader slang here, folks- they ain't stuck in the Maze now.
You are not a popular person.
Not that you mind. You have your small circle of friends and staying out of the typical teenage drama really is a blessing, especially during your Senior year.
It's not like you're disliked, you're just not someone most people pay attention to, and you like it that way.
You get to focus on your studies, your family and your close friends, which is more than enough to keep you happy.
Well, it would be if you weren't kind of a hopeless romantic. No matter how many times you tell yourself you don't want a boyfriend and that you don't need one, you spend a lot of time fantasing about what it would be like to be in a relationship. Like going on dates, having cute inside jokes, meeting your partners parents, and... other things.
In typical horny teenage fashion, you do spend a lot of time thinking about the more intimate parts of your desired relationship. But, alas, you simply do not have anyone interested in you, nor do you have the time.
(You totally do have the time; you're way ahead of your classes and are passing with flying colours- but you tell yourself that.)
Except that's actually not quite right.
"Dude, I am totally fucking up this titration, are you gonna help me or not?" Gally mumbles from behind the desk of the chemistry lab. How Gally and Minho got into AP chemistry is beyond me, and the teacher, and the whole entire class.
Probably to do with them cheating on their mid-terms. But that's irrelevant.
"Minho, dude," he shoves his friend, who has been casually leaning on the desk staring off into space, as per usual.
Well, not into space exactly.
"What? Huh? Oh, right, yeah." He clears his throat. "Acid in the... tube thing and we put that in the base and bang, shit changes colour- it ain't that hard."
"It's an acid-base titration."
"So?"
"So, we're seeing how much base it takes to neutralise the acid- the acid goes in the beaker!"
"What's the damn difference?"
Gally pauses.
He does not know.
"Whatever, the titrate is already in the shitty tube and now we gotta drip feed it in."
"Sounds like you know what you're doin', then." Gally frowns at the boy.
Maybe it wasn't a smart idea for them to both cheat when the only thing they have in common is being friends with Siggy (aka Frypan, the groups best, and only, cook.)
"Yanno, maybe if you didn't spend half your time staring at your nerd crush, then we might actually get past this with a C."
Minho glares at his friend. His crush on you is very much a teasing point in his friend group.
It started when he was struggling with an equation in Sophmore year. He'd just sprained his ankle after a training session with the Track-and-Sprint team and was particularly stressed about it. So, anything remotely out of his academic field was bound to make his day worse.
It's not like Minho is dumb. He's actually incredibly intelligent. He has a great memory and can understand people with little to no effort- anything scientific really isn't his thing though.
So, when you felt bad for him, watching him anxiously tap his good foot and spin his pen in his hand, you slipped him your answer sheet. He was stunned, especially since you'd never spoken before. But, when you smiled at him, giving him a reassuring nod, he never really got over it.
"Shut up, man."
"You know, actually, that's not a bad idea."
"What?"
"Yo, (Y/N)!" You perk your head up, flashing a concerned look at Harriet, your lab partner, as Gally shouts you. "Could you help us out? You're like smart, right?"
"Gally! Dude-" Minho whisper-yells at the boy, ducking into himself when you respond.
"Uh, sure," you walk away from your perfect set up to the chaos of the boys'. "What's up?"
You stand with your hands behind your back, looking between them. "Minho," he nudges his friend, "tell the girl what's wrong."
Minho blinks. "Well, uh, I don't know- you're the one who said there's a problem."
Gally scoffs. "The fucking thing won't change colour- ain't it meant to go pink?"
You glance between them, suddenly feeling very small.
You're not popular, which means guys like these have often teased you or do things like this because they think it's funny. It's gotten better over time with age, but you still feel like the scared little freshman that would get teased by older boys.
"Well, did you put the phenolphthalein in the beaker?"
They both blankly look at you. So, you pick up the small, dark bottle. Shaking it at them, you open the bottle, letting the liquid fall from the dripper and into the clear acid, which immediately turns a bright fusia.
You pull your lips into a thin line as they both stare at the beaker, no thoughts behind the eyes.
"Ah." Gally says after a couple of seconds.
"Yeah." You respond.
"Uh, thanks," Minho awkwardly stands up properly from his leaning position over the lab table.
"No problem."
You turn to walk away, but as Gally makes shifty eyes at his friend, Minho finally takes the hint. He's been crushing on you forever, he might aswell do something about it.
"Uh, wait, hold on," you turn to face him as he walks around the desk. "I gotta ask you somethin'."
"I'm sure your titration's fine, just don't pour it too quick or the results will be wrong."
"No, uh, not that." Gally snorts, not at you but at Minho's awkwardness, but it still makes you feel very insecure. "I was wondering if you wanted to hang out maybe, sometime?"
"Hang out?"
"Yeah," Gally laughs, covering his mouth and turning away, "Gally, shut up, bro." Minho is quick to snap at him. "Like... a date, maybe?"
You scoff, anger swelling inside of you. This isn't the first times it's happened, but probably the worst because you actually like Minho.
Sure, he hangs out with douchebags like Gally, but you thought he was cool. Say, you may even have a slight crush on him. He's handsome, funny, and, for the most part, kind.
Well, you thought he was at least.
"Real funny, asshole."
You walk away, returning to a very confused Harriet.
Minho stands in stunned silence. He's never been rejected before- nevermind like that.
Gally bursts out laughing.
"What just happened?" Minho asks no one in particular, visible confusion washing over him.
"You just got fuckin' rejected, bro! Ha!"
"No, that was weird." He's never heard of anyone being rejected like that before.
"Well, try again, then, pretty boy- it's nice to see someone knock your ego down a peg." Minho gives a sarcastic grin to Gally before shoving him. "You gonna help me with this damn titration, now, or what?"
"Dude, what was that about?" Harriet whispers as you immediately go back to your third reading.
"Minho just asked me out." You state, matter-of-factly.
"What?" She says a bit too loud, making multiple heads look at her. "What?" She repeats, quieter.
"It was a joke- Gally was laughing the whole time. I hate guys like that."
"Are you sure?" You glare at her. "I'm just sayin', I didn't think Minho was that typa guy, that's all."
"Yeah, neither did I."
"Pricks."
You scoff before she smiles at you.
You finish up the lab session, and you're quick to leave, meeting Sonya and Aris at the door as you all share history together.
"Hey, (Y/N)!" You keep walking, ignoring Minho's voice from behind you. "Yo! Hey! Wait!"
"What?" You snap, turning around suddenly to face him, making him jump as Sonya and Aris exchange glances.
"Did I, uh, did I do something? 'Cause back there you-"
"You think you're funny, huh?" Harriet butts in, defending you. "That's a sick joke, yanno; give it up now before you become even more of a dick. C'mon." She grabs your wrist, pulling you away from him, your other friends left even more confused.
Later, in the cafeteria, Minho sits with his friends, silently picking at his food.
"Okay," Newt finally breaks the tension, "what's going on? Why are you sulking?"
"He got rejected by his long-term crush," Gally sneers, earning a glare from Minho.
"Holy shit, (Y/N)?" Teresa leans forward in her seat. "You actually asked her?"
"Yeah, and he got completely rejected."
"What? Why?" Thomas pipes up.
Minho shrugs. "She called me an asshole and walked away. Tried to talk to her after, and Harriet dragged her away."
"What?" At least three people ask.
"Yeah, so, that's three years of my romantic life wasted."
"Nah, man, you gotta ask again," Frypan says between mouthfuls of his homemade pasta, which is worlds better than the cafeteria food.
"What?"
"Keep askin', you'll either get an explanation or she'll say yes."
"I don't know if I agree with that," Teresa mumbles.
"Yeah, me neither," Newt mutters, and Frypan shushes them.
"Trust me, bro, chicks dig a guy that doesn't give up- ain't that right, Gally?"
"Oh, yeah," Gally agrees, sarcasm dripping in his voice. "That'll work."
And, for some God forsaken reason, Minho actually listens to this.
So, every day, for the next two weeks, Minho asks you out.
You think it's some kind of unruly on-going inside joke, and Harriet is practically frothing at the mouth, ready to rip Minho to shreads the first chance she gets. Minho, at the point, would just like a reason.
Not that he's owed one. But, Teresa and Newt's voices of reason keep getting drowned out by the other dumb boys, so he's still going.
That is until you have literally the worst day ever.
First, your Mom's car broke down, and she normally drops you off at school on her commute to work, so you arrived at your first period late. It also means she can't pick you up, it's not like you can't drive, but you don't have your own car, and now she doesn't have a car either.
And now it's throwing it down.
You then dropped a whole beaker of hydrochloric acid down your leg in chemistry. Which meant you had to borrow Sonya's PE shorts because you can't wear dangerous chemicals all day.
Then you left school- forgot you were tutoring Winston for extra credit, and had to run back to school, soaked, to spend another hour there.
Unbeknownst to you, Minho has extracurricular activities being captain of the Track team- which is taking place inside the hall because of the weather.
So, when you're walking through the parking lot, dressed like a drowned-rat and Minho pulls up beside you, you've just about had enough.
"(Y/N)?"
"Piss off, Minho! I won't tell you again!"
He slowly drives alongside you from his beat-up, old range rover, the window rolled down but he still has to shout.
"Okay! Okay! Dude, you're drenched, wearing shorts, okay? I'll give you a lift home-"
"No way- I'll walk."
"You're gonna get sick, man- I'll shut up and just take you home, alright? I'm not letting you walk in this- I'll feel like a dick."
"You don't already feel like a dick?"
He groans, tapping on the steering wheel. "I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable- I didn't mean to. But the weather's shit, and you can't play top-student if you're off 'cause you're ill."
You pause. He makes a good point. You turn to look at him, sighing. He puts the hand break on when you start to walk around the side of his car, dumping your bag at your feet as you open the door.
"What's your-"
"I'll give you directions."
"Okay..."
The ride is mainly in silent, with some old-school songs playing on the radio. Minho taps the steering wheel to the beat of "Eye of the Tiger" to try and distract himself from the awkwardness.
Your phone buzzes; it's Harriet calling you.
"Shit," you mumble.
"You good?" Minho asks you.
"Yeah, Harriet's calling me- we're meant to be figuring out our history project tonight but I forget to tell her I was tutoring."
You swipe across, pressing the phone to your ear. "Hey, man."
"Dude, you were meant to call me half an hour ago- we gotta brainstorm."
"Yeah, yeah, I know, I'm just on my way home, now."
"Did your Mom sort her car then? Doesn't sound like you're walking through a storm."
"No, I, uh..." You trail off. "I got offered a lift, I'm fine, I'll be home in like five minutes."
"A lift? Off who? Sonya has work so she couldn't of?" You hesitate. "Dude?"
"Uh, Minho, he caught me in the rain and offered to take me home."
"What?"
"Yeah, I know-"
"You're fucking with me, right?"
"Look, it's fine, I'll call you when I get home."
"You better." You hang up the phone, taking a deep breath.
"Sounds like she doesn't like me," Minho attempts to say.
"Yeah, I wonder why."
"Do you have a problem with me, or some shit? 'Cause I thought we were cool and then you just started acting like I was a dick."
"Because you are a dick!"
"What?" He looks at you for a second before returning his eyes to the road.
"Doesn't matter; pull over, it's my house on the left."
He does as he's told. There's no car in the drive so your Mom must've managed to get someone to take care of it- which means you've got an empty house.
Thank God because you're going to need to de-stress after the day you've had.
You immediately get out of the car, slamming the door behind you. But Minho is quick to follow you.
"Hey!" He shouts as you march up your front door steps. "Hey!" He grabs you wrist and you turn around, pushing him.
"What's your problem?" You shout. "I don't get why you think this is so fucking funny! Like, sure, have your one dumb joke where you ask out the freak to make your friend laugh! But why keep going! What's the point? You don't have your little audience now, do you? What? You gonna call them after and tell them how much fun you had pissing me off on our little drive? Or is it the fact I got in your car to begin with? Is that the joke, hm?"
Minho stands there, in the rain, his brows furrowing slightly as he takes in what you've said. It's an expression you've never seen on him before, but you don't plan on sticking around to find out what it means.
You turn, fumbling with your keys to unlock your door, managing to push it open.
"Wait, what?" He stops you in the door, and for some reason, you turn around.
"What?"
"You thought it was a joke?" His voice sounds sincere, almost sad.
"You and Gally were laughing at me-"
"No, Gally was laughing at me," he sighs, dropping his head. "He was laughing at me."
"What? Why would he-?"
"Because I've had a crush on you since I was fifteen. Ever since you gave me those damn notes, a-and I guess I never got over it. I just finally got the courage to say something and Gally thought it was funny- for some reason, I don't know." He takes a deep breath. "But I- shit," he throws his head back, letting the water wash over his face. "I was never joking."
You don't know what to say. It's like your body relaxes, your shoulders dropping as you shuffle forwards.
"I get it, if you don't like me- and I'll leave you alone now. Teresa gave me some lecture on how to treat girls," he lets out a soft chuckle, "Newt sounded like he was gonna rip my head off. But I was never joking, (Y/N)- I really fuckin' like you."
"I don't get it," you mumble. "Why would a guy like you like me?"
"What do you mean?"
"You're... popular. Everyone loves you- you're hot and athletic and you could get anyone you want. I don't get it."
He smirks, his shirt is starting to stick to him thanks to the rain and his hair is starting to flatten. "You think I'm hot?" You glare at him. "Right, yeah, not the point, sorry."
He takes in a deep breath. "How could I not like you? You're pretty, and funny, and passionate- and you try so hard and you help people whenever you can. You're... incredible."
"You barely know me."
He scoffs. "Maybe. But I think I've paid more attention to you than I have any of my classes. I know you're good at science, but you hate physics, even though you're good at it. But I know English is your favourite subject. I know that you became friends with Sonya and Aris because Harriet made you after you sat next to her in history. I know the only class you've ever skipped is PE, but I don't know why 'cause you'd actually be pretty decent on the girls' basketball team. And I know you're tutoring Winston after school because he doesn't shut up about it half the time."
He pauses. "I know about you- but I want to know you."
You're completely stunned. The fact that he's paid so much attention to you, and knows all of this makes your stomach flip and your heart rate speed up.
When you don't respond, Minho sighs, rubbing his forehead with his hand. "Sorry," he mumbles, "this is dumb; I'll leave you alone."
He steps away, turning around when you step forward. "Minho," you grab his wrist, making him turn around to face you fully. "I, uh, I have a crush on you, too."
He blinks. "What?"
"I thought you were cool, and I think I was only so upset that I thought it was a joke... because I actually like you, too?" It comes out as more of a question as you avoid his gaze. But when he doesn't say anything, you look at him.
He's smiling. It's a genuine and earnest expression. "Yeah, you actully-?"
"Just shut up and kiss me," you don't know where the surge of confidence came from. Maybe you can't take this sappy talk anymore, or that Minho looks too good being soaked wet through.
Stepping closer, he brings his hand to your cheek, brushing his thumb across your lips as your faces are inches apart. Finally, he leans in, closer the gap and kissing you.
Your hopeless romantic heart can't take it. Kissing the popular hot guy in the rain after what was basically a love confession? It's like something straight out of a movie.
He breaks the kiss for a second, eyes fluttering down at you before his kisses you again. This time, it's hungrier, pushing you back as you grab his shirt. Pulling him back and into your house, he slams the door behind him as you drop your bag on the floor with a heavy thump.
Almost immediately, he grabs you again, pushing you back into the wall of your hallway. You hum into his mouth, his hands coming to your waist, yanking your body closer to his. You're both damp and in uncomfortable clothes, but neither if you could care less as you drip on the floor.
Feeling more bold, you pull on his bottom lip with your teeth, making him grunt slightly before your tongues brush against one another.
Make out session is quick to become more heated as you graze your fingers over his abs through his shirt, which is sticking to him like glue. He senses your want for more, moving one of his hands to lift his shirt (struggling because wet clothes suck) before firmly pressing your hand to his mid-drift.
He breaks the kiss, his eyes flickering as you gently touch his bare skin, your eyes on his chiselled form. He sucks in a deep breath, his chest rising and falling.
It's almost like a drug. You're barely doing anything but he's never felt like this before. It's not like Minho is inexperienced due to a few hook-ups at parties. But, this is new.
He's literally getting drunk off of your touch. And you can tell.
Having Minho reduced to putty in your hands sends a flush of heat to your core. Dangerously lowering your hand, you brush against the V line poking out of his tightening trousers.
He mumbles your name, a rasp to his voice, almost like he's in some kind of pain as he speaks into your mouth. He dips towards you, but instead of kissing you, his lips come to your neck.
You exhale, the air shaking at it leaves your lungs. He moves lower, your free hand coming to back of his neck and playing with his wet hair.
When he reaches your collarbone, your phone starts buzzing again.
Harriet, again.
He pulls away, raising an eyebrow at you as you pull your phone out of the baggy pocket of the gym shorts. "Sorry," you mumble, "I gotta..."
He nods. "Yeah, go ahead."
You inwardly cringe as you pick up the phone.
"Bro, are you alive?" She says the second the line connects.
"Yeah, I'm alive, Harry- I'm home now."
"Great, well I was thinking we can do out project of the Battle of the Somme, or maybe-"
"Wait, I'm, uh, I'm a bit busy- can I call you back?" You definitely have to have that interesting conversation with her, but hopefully you don't have to do it in front of Minho.
"What? Why? Why do you sound like you've ran a marathon? What's going on with you?"
"Look, I'm fine. I'll call you back."
"Wha-" you hang up, taking a deep breath as you lean back against the wall.
Minho chuckles. "We should, uh, probably take things a bit slower."
"Yeah," you clear your throat, "you're probably right."
"So, about that date- you down?"
You smile, nodding. "Yeah, that sounds great."
"Cool. I should probably get your number, huh?"
"Yeah, that would be smart."
You exchange numbers, making some small and slightly awkward small talk when the door opens.
Your Mom, who looks like she's just had the worst day, freezes. Her eyes flickering between you and Minho.
None of you say anything for a good thirty seconds as your mother takes in the scene of her daughter and this random boy dripping in her hallway, both clearly flustered whilst Minho's shirt is still slightly raised.
And where are your pants?
"Hi, Mrs (L/N)," Minho gives an awkward wave to her.
"I can explain." You say.
"I don't want to know," she brushes past you, going further into the house, leaving you be.
Both you and Minho exchange looks before bursting out laughing.
Maybe Minho wasn't joking, but you have a feeling that this specific moment is definitely going to be in the future.
This was actually very fun to write, and I actually got to use my actual science qualifications to use for a change. It's nice to change up things now and then.
I hope you guys enjoyed :))

NIGHT SHIFT p3
Pairing: y/n and Chris Sturniolo
Summary: a girl that just started working in a local cafe in her small town and a boy who just moved into her town because of his dads job.
Warnings: none
During the summer break i saw Chris a lot of times, he always or smiled or waved at me. And I ALWAYS got flustered just by his look.
-
Tomorrow is school.. FINALLY!! I will get to see Chris every day and hopefully we end up in the same class.
-
The next morning
School started at 7:30 so i got up at 5:45 to get ready. I didnt usually wake up this early but it is the first day so I kinda had to.
I rolled out of my bed and stretched. I yawned while walking to the bathroom half asleep. I turned the water on and I let my hands drown in it. It was so warm on such a cold morning, all i wanted to do is go to sleep but I couldnt so I snapped out of it and opened my eyes fully. I quickly striped my clothes off and got into the shower. I quickly showered and shaved really quickly, while I was in the shower I also brushed my teeth and cleansed the shit out of my face.
I got out and soaked up the water from my body with a clean towel. I quickly ran to my room and dressed up. *The outift*
After i dressed up i went to my vanity and did my skincare and makeup.
I put on tons of smells. Deodorant, lotion, bodymist, perfume.. It was all vanilla scented. I even showered in a vanilla scented body wash.
6:55
I packed my bags for school and took my headphones.
Before I left my house i quickly shoved a gum in my mouth before locking the door.
7:05
I sat down in the bus, listening to the music that was blasting through my headphones.
Suddenly I felt a wave of mens perfume hit me, I turned my head around to see that it was Chris. I smiled at him and waved him over.
The girls were drooling over Chris even though thats the first time they ever saw him (but who could blame them honeslty..). Some even invited Chris to sit next to them and when he sat down next to me they had the disappointed face on.
He sat down next to me and smiled..
"Hii, I love your outfit y/n" he stared.
"Thanks Chris, you look nice too" he smiled as I spoke.
While we talked i spotted a few eyes on us from behind but I just ignored them all.
After some yapping we finally arrived.
7:20
We walked together into the school and once again the girls were all over Chris. IT WAS KILLING ME INSIDE but I decided to play it off.
"I guess youre the popular guy huh?" i nudge his shoulder. He chuckles and shakes his head off.
I looked around and suddenly I felt a rush of anxiety run through my body because of all the looks people were giving me and Chris. I also heard some girls say:
"Ew does she really think he would wanna be with her?"
"Hes so hott"
"She doesnt have a chance with him hahaha"
"Do you think hes a good kisser?"
I just took deep breaths as I still felt everyones gaze on me and Chris.
Chris shruged my shoulder "you okay?"
I quickly got my mind together and responded: yeah.. im okay..
Chris nodded but still looked a bit concerned.
We got to our lockers and got our things ready for our the first class. We separated our ways since we thought were not even gonna be together in classes. I got to my class and I sat down. When a couple of minutes passed by I saw Chris walking towards me.
"What are you doing here?" i smiled as he sat down next to me
"I guess we are together" i smiled slightly even though i was filled with excitement and happiness.
-
Since it was a first day we didnt learn anything we just got our schedules and talked about our summer break.
-
1st and 2nd class finished and it was time for lunch.
I found my friends in the hallway and walked to the cafeteria with them. We sat down behind a table that was facing the table Chris was sitting behind. Chris also sat down behind his table and a group of popular boys from a soccer team joined him. He smiled even though he didnt really know what was going on. I saw some girls from a cheerleader team also sit there. I was furious. How could he be so popular i thought as i bit into my apple.
"y/n! hello!!" my friend snapped her fingers into my face.
"are you even with us?" she said.
"yeah just got a bit distracted sorry.." i replied.
"what? is it that new boy, whats his name... Chris? Right?" she smiled. "hes so fine" the other friend added.
I was so mad i just wanted to punch them all in the face but I got my act together and just nodded.
-
After school I was outside waiting for my bus to come.
I sat down in the same seat i was sitting in the morning and once again Chris sat down next to me. For some reason I was so mad at him i didnt even wanna talk to him but he didnt even do anything.
As he sat down i just looked at the window and didnt say anything.
"Omg I met this girl-" he started talking. I was this close to telling him I liked him but it was all gone. I thought he felt the same way about me. I rolled my eyes at him as he continued talking about that girl and I knew exactly who she was. Shes the popular girl at school that fucked almost every single boy in the school.
I nodded to Chris and didnt mention anything to him about her since I wanted him to find out himself.
The bus got to my house and I just rushed out, without a goodbye.
-
While I was getting ready for my ice skating practice I got a notification..
I opened it and it was from instagram. I opened the requests and saw that girl texted me.
Melanie
Leave my Chris alone before I beat you up.
Me
Your Chris? You said that about half the male population in this school that you fucked so you should be fucking ashamed of yourself, whore.
I sighed as i pressed sent. I got ready for my practice and I checked my phone for the last time before i left. That whore left me on seen. Of course thats what she always did when someone put her in her place.
I smiled to myself and left the house.
-
OKAY WTF. IM REALLY SORRY THIS IS SO BAD AND SHORT IM GONNA CRY.
if theres any mistakes please do not mind them this was kinda rushed.
I know its not even that good im really sorry but part 4 is coming soon, ily all and thanks for the support and btw requests are open please request anything!

[PART 3]
Yu Narukami and Yaso-Inaba’s self-declared Investigation Team weren’t the only ones that had come to join the scene.
“Sig!” his friend Amitie gave the cyan-haired boy a baffled look. “What are you doing back here!? We told you we were all going out to celebrate with you together, didn’t we?”
“Just had a delivery to make,” Sig replied coolly.
“Huh?”
Along with Amitie, several other Puyo Magic-users had joined the group as well. The space was becoming a little crowded, making Sig want to duck away.
Yu Narukami, meanwhile, was explaining his team’s predicament to Joker.
“Kanji vanished after the results were announced. We’ve been looking all over for him, but no luck. And our phones aren’t getting any reception here…”
Joker put a hand to his chin. “I see… And how about scanning the area with someone’s Persona?”
Yu shook his head, “Rise had a concert and couldn’t make it today, and Teddie’s powers don’t work here, so…”
“You wanna borrow Oracle?”
These discussions continued as, at the same time, one could hear Yosuke Hanamura speaking to his friends further in the back.
“The results were really close, too… I wonder if he took it hard,” Yosuke scratched the back of his neck, sighing loudly. “Y’know, some people in the audience kinda took the piss out of me when Kanji beat me last round, so I… said some stuff I probably shouldn’t have said to him. ‘Like you’re gonna make it much further!’ or ‘Those were all just pity-points, you know!’... stuff like that.”
“Yosuke…” Chie couldn’t help but sympathize. This all really sucked.
“I’m sure Kanji-kun disappearing had nothing to do with that,” Yukiko tried to comfort. “After all, you’ve said much worse things to him before!”
“Gee, THANKS, Yukiko-san!” Yosuke snapped.
“I agree with Yuki-chan. Kanji’s not the type to get all Yosuke’d up by Yosuke having a Yosuke moment!” Teddie declared with a raised paw.
“What does any of that even mean!?” Yosuke demanded to know. He would not receive an answer.
“Much more importantly! Doesn’t it feel like he’s been even since bearfor the results were announced? I have a feeling like my fur hasn’t been in danger of unsolicited pettings for a whoooole while now…!”
“Wait, he’s right…!” Yukiko realized, and Naoto lowered her head in thought.
“Then I wonder what did make him leave…?”
This was when a completely new voice, that of Arle Nadja, the Puyo-using sorceress, spoke up.
“Hey, speaking of that, Schezo’s been gone for a while now, too…” she stemmed her hands on her hips and looked over the crowd. “I didn’t think much of it at first, because he’s really not one for popularity contests, what with his whole ‘darkness and solitude ‘ shtick. But your friend was the one he was up against this round. Both of them disappearing at once is a little suspicious…”
“Oh, maybe they went celebrating together!” Amitie bounced.
Yosuke raised an eyebrow at that “Huh? But they’re complete strangers.”
Amitie beamed, “A stranger is just a friend you haven’t met yet!”
“Somebody keep this child out of public!!” Morgana almost shrieked in alarm at that statement, and someone with a rather similar-sounding voice to Morgana, Ringo Ando, laughed awkwardly.
“Ahahaha… Sorry for that. Looks like we need an Amitie-chaperone over here.”
“On it,” Sig raised his human hand and shuffled Amitie, who gave a confused “Huh?”, aside.
Meanwhile, Rulue, a close acquaintance of Arle’s and Schezo’s, spoke her own thoughts, “Hmpf… That dark mage up and disappearing right after a battle with no trace of the opponent doesn’t bode well. He is definitely up to no good.”
Arle awkwardly laughed at that, “I mean, I’d be worried about that too… But it’s not like the other guy was a magic-users, so…”
Yu Narukami listened up, “Would it change anything if he could use ‘magic’?”
At that, Arle bit her lip a bit and shuffled around before responding, “Um, well, Schezo kinda used to have a habit of kidnapping other mages to extract their magic power from them. That’s how we first met, actually. But he hasn’t done anything like that in a while, because he’s been so focused on going after my power-”
“Huh? Actually, he wanted something like that from me too a while back, I think,” said Amitie.
“Same here,” Sig nodded, showing his crimson arm.
Arle froze up. “R-Really…?”
The entire Yaso-Inaba Investigation team were staring at each other in horror.
“Uh… Do you think… Can Personas be, eh, ‘extracted’?” Chie carefully asked the pressing question.
The answer came from one group over, from Morgana.
“It’s possible,” he said, with a grim look on his face. “But if it were to be done, it would be disastrous for the Persona User. The result would be a Mental Shutdown.”
“Kanji!!”
Yosuke dashed off, without a second’s delay.
“What the…” Chie was so surprised when he pushed past her, she almost tripped. “...Oh, what the heck, Yosuke! We don’t even know which way to go yet!”

Time Warp (Dina X Cheerleader!Reader)
Masterlist
Request Something!
Summary: Dina doesn’t feel like she belongs with her boyfriend’s crowd. But when she’s talking about her weekend plans, she finds that she’s able to connect with you. Maybe even better than she does with Brad.
A/N: first, last, and only dina fic omg. this is probably gonna be really ooc and like a crackfic or something bc i honestly dont remember dina being interested in RHPS, but then again i havent seen ianowt since it came out. ive also never watched RHPS… the closest ive come to it is that one episode of glee pffft i swear it’s on my watchlist tho
***
Sometimes, Dina didn’t know why she was dating Brad. She knew why she started dating him. He was a hot and popular football player who gave her, the new girl, attention. She liked walking around wearing his varsity jacket and drinking at his house parties with Sydney.
But eventually, that wasn’t enough for Dina anymore. When she thought about it, she and Brad didn’t really have much in common.
Especially friends.
“Dina?” The girl was brought out of her deep thoughts by you saying her name and waving a hand in front of her face. Everyone chuckled when she flinched in surprise except you, who looked at her curiously.
“Huh?”
“I asked what you were doing this weekend.”
Brad answered for Dina, a smug and suggestive grin on his face. “She’s coming to my place.” The group laughed as he put his arm around his girlfriend’s shoulder, whose expression immediately gave you the impression that he was dead wrong.
“Actually…” Dina’s voice was soft but firm, wriggling out of Brad’s hold. “I’m going out of town with Syd and Stanley.”
“What?” Everyone at the table immediately started to feel uncomfortable. Brad was known to be a dick with a bit of a temper, but you hoped that that temper or dick behavior wouldn’t be extended to Dina just because she wasn’t hanging out with him for a weekend. “Why?”
Dina rolled her eyes, which seemed to only make Brad more upset. “We’re gonna go see Rocky Horror.”
“Wait, really?” You leaned over the table a bit to get closer to Dina, your interest piqued. “Like, is it the movie or an actual live show?”
“Live show,” Dina answered, slightly surprised. Sure, it wasn’t like Rocky Horror was a niche thing. But it a town like this, with kids like Brad and his friends? And no offense to you, of course, but Dina was surprised that a cheerleader in Brad’s group would even recognize the name.
You squealed in excitement, making Dina laugh. The rest of the table rolled their eyes, returning to their food or phones. Except for Brad, who was still upset Dina wouldn’t be coming over this weekend. “That sounds like so much fun! Where is it? I kinda wanna go now.”
“You could come with us,” Dina suggested before she could even think about it. But she didn’t regret asking; she was sure Sydney and Stanley wouldn’t have a problem with you coming. Although you were part of the self-centered, popular crowd, you were probably one of the nicest people any of them had interacted with in this town. However, they rarely interacted with you apart from Dina because of your busy cheerleader life and the crowd you were in. “If you want.”
“Are you sure? I don’t wanna intrude or anything.”
“It’s no problem.” Dina waved off your concerns. “We’re taking Stan’s car, so how about we swing by your place at around 4?”
You grinned with excitement. “That sounds great!”
***
That night after the show, you and your friends were filled with giddiness and adrenaline. You all had an amazing time, and Dina was happy to see that you fit right in with her best friends.
“That was so much fun!” You squealed as you all piled into Stanley’s car, Stanley and Sydney in the front while you and Dina sat in the back.
“The music was just, ugh, awesome,” Stan said as he turned the car on, starting to pull out of the parking lot.
While Stan and Syd started talking about whether or not to stop for food, you turned to Dina. “Thanks for inviting me.” You said, nudging her with your shoulder.
She repeated the action to you. “If I knew you were into this kinda stuff, I would’ve invited you a lot sooner.”
As you kept talking, Syd and Stanley discreetly looked back through the rearview mirror. They decided to stop for food, so whatever was going on between you and Dina would keep going just a little bit longer. They could see that something about you was different from the people they usually saw you with.
As time passed, Dina started wondering again why she was still dating Brad. You were the only one who actually showed interest in her and thought of her as more than Bradley Lewis’ girlfriend. So maybe she stuck around so she could actually get to know you.
But after tonight, Dina decided she didn’t need Brad for that anymore.

knight/modern au limbo x risa wc: 1603
note: i asked for prompts on twitter and i got jealously and unrequited love from two different people but i decided to mash them together hehe
===
She hadn’t been to university in forever. Heck, this wasn’t even her school, so it felt like she was a trespasser, however, Limbo assured her they allowed visitors, so long as they visited the administration's office to get a pass or it was an event that allowed visitors.
Risa roamed the halls as she tried to find where the criminology wing was. Why was she here in the first place? So, she could find Limbo, and tell him something.
She likes him.
It was a spur of the moment for her; thinking of all the times they hung out together and how attentive he was to her. It made her heart flutter in ways it usually doesn’t. He made her feel special.
“It should be here…” She says to herself as she walks towards the class he’s assisting in. It’s almost time he ends his shift as she recalls him telling her once. He was not aware she was coming here. She walks to a door and peeks in to see Limbo still in the classroom. There’s a class still going on so she has to wait for it to end.
She is a bit early. She walks around the corner to sit on the available bench.
Risa sits as she exhales deeply. She’s nervous. What’s she gonna say? Hi Limbo, sorry to drop by so suddenly but I have to say something, I like you? Or would she just be a sputtering mess unable to say it out loud? She quietly groans, “This is frustrating.”
She gets out her phone to distract herself, googling how to confess to a crush.
10 minutes later, she hears the doors open and an influx of students chattering as they head out. That means the class is finished. She thinks.
She gets up and waits for an opportunity to get inside. She peeks out to the classroom hallway and sees Limbo heading out as well.
She’s about to move until she sees a girl run to catch up to him. “Limbo!’ He turns to her and smiles at the girl.
Oh.
The girl wraps her hands around his wrist as she talks to him. “Limbo, are you doing anything today?” He shakes his head, “No, nothing really aside from grading these papers.”
“Great, it’ll take like 30 minutes for you to grade those but before that, why don’t you and I grab dinner? A new place just opened up a few days ago” She’s gotten close to him and Risa feels her heart deflate. He’s not peeling her off of him. She turns away from the scene, feeling bad for eavesdropping and makes her head drop. She’s not listening anymore as she missed out on the girl saying as she lets go of his wrist. “Of course, there’ll be more people coming! We decided to make this a group dinner anyway and we wanted to invite you too.”
She gets up from the bench and heads out the back door of the hall in sadness. It was silly to think she could end up with him anyway. He was popular at this school and many girls liked him as well. Of course, he already has a girlfriend. Why did she bother trying? She tries to hold back the tears as she returns to the administration's office to return the visitor’s pass.
Limbo thinks about this and turns to the girl, “Why not, I-” Before he could say, he heard a door close.
He jumps a bit and turns back. There should be no one else at this time and the classroom before is not in use right now. Weird, he thinks.
“Uh…Limbo? Are you coming or not? Clara needs a head count right away.” She waves her hand to his face to get his attention. “Huh? Oh…” He looks at the girl and shakes his head. “Sorry, I just remembered I promised some of my friends I’d go with them.” It was a lie but he felt like he had to make up an excuse.
“Oh, that’s alright then. We can eat some other time then!” She nods and starts texting. “I’ve let Clara know ahead of time then. See you, next class, Limbo!” The girl turns around and heads out for the day.
Seeing Amy round a corner, he looks back to the end of the hallway and heads towards the back door. He’s cautious, as he’s not sure who was here.
He opens the door and he’s led outside. He looks around and nothing looks out of the ordinary until he takes a step forwards and accidentally steps on a plush keychain.
It was a My Melody keychain. He recognizes the model and recalls him winning it in an arcade. And he gave it to Risa.
Was it Risa that came here? He picks up the keychain and inspects it. There is a name on the tag that says “Risa”, confirming his suspicions. “Risa?” He’s confused. If she was here, why didn’t she stop by to see him? There shouldn’t be any other reason as to why she’s here. None of their friends had any reason to be at this school. It was strange to him.
He walks while he looks around the campus courtyard. A few people are sitting on tables and benches. Some played catch and some danced to music. But none of them are Risa.
He quickened his pace, running while hoping she was still on campus. Some students recognize him and say hi to him, but he unknowingly ignores them.
“Oh, that’s a short visit. Was it satisfactory at least?” The clerk at the office asks while grabbing the pass from Risa’s hands. “Yes.” She tries to hide her sadness. “The NSU campus is beautiful, if I may say. I wish I was able to go here.” Risa changes the topic. “Well, you’re always welcome to further your education here, if you wish. It’s June right now so classes are full but we are opening classes in the Fall.”
The clerk informs her. “Oh, and we do have a festival next month if you’d like to visit then too.”
“Ah, we’ll see then. Thank you for everything.”
She turns to the front doors to exit when they open up and Limbo appears. He’s out of breath. She widens her eyes. “Limbo?”
“Risa…!” He pants, trying to catch his breath.
“Did you run here?”
“Yes, I was trying to find you.” He walks up to her. “I didn’t know you were visiting, you should’ve told me.”
“Uhm….” She looks down, feeling guilty. “Yeah, I wanted to see you… but something…came up and wasn’t able to meet you…” She mumbled the last words and she could feel herself cry, replaying the scene in Limbo’s classroom in her head.
Then, she throws her head up and clears her throat. “Um, I gotta go and open up the store soon. You should go too. Your girlfriend is waiting, right? You have dinner today.” She rounds Limbo to the exit. “See you around.”
“Girlfriend?” He’s confused now. He stands there, piecing it together. So she was there. Risa probably witnessed his talk with Amy. He almost laughs at the whole thing. She misunderstood.
“Wait.” Before she can pull the door, Limbo’s hand slams the glass door shut as he stands over her. She looks above her to see Limbo standing behind her. Damn him and his height!
He turns her around and leads her outside and they talk when they sit on a bench.
“Risa, I think you’re misunderstanding the situation.”
“Misunderstanding? About what?”
“That I have a girlfriend. I don’t have one. Never have. The girl you saw was a student in the class I’m assisting. She’s… already spoken for, anyway.”
She blinks, processing the information he gave her. “But… I saw her holding your wrist?”
“That’s probably to stop me so she can talk to me. She let go immediately. Anyway, she invited me to dinner along with other students and TAs. A new restaurant opened up and they wanted to try it.”
Oh.
She feels dumb for misreading the whole thing but also feels relieved, for the most part. “Sorry… sometimes I let my emotions get the better of me and assume the worst.”
“That’s alright. I would’ve done the same, if some guy was talking to you.” Limbo laughed as he muttered something under his breath. She quickly turns to him, was she hearing him right?
“Anyway, what were you doing here? You rarely come to visit me here.” He suddenly changes the subject.”
“Oh! Uhm…” Now she’s embarrassed. Her cheeks redden as she remembers why she was here in the first place. Is now a good time to confess? The words escape her.
“What, is it wrong to see your friend? Can’t I just see you for once?” She jokingly says her excuse. All signs of love have disappeared. Well, maybe next time she can conf-
“Friend… huh…” He repeats in a serious tone. “Limbo?” She tries, frowning. Was it something upsetting she said? What is he thinking in that big beautiful head of his? She wishes she could read his mind.
He shakes his head and smiles at her. “Well. I’m glad to see you too. Since you’re here, let’s go grab something to eat.” He gets up and extends his hand to her, waiting for her to accept, which she gladly did. “Sure.” She says as she gets up, holding his hand with a smile.
“If I recall, there’s another restaurant that opened up too. It’s Chinese and I’d love to try it out!”
“That sounds good to me!”
