I think about both these outfits more than I would admit. They ruined me and my mental stability but that's fine. He's allowed to do whatever he wants with me/my brain.

But, what I don't understand is:

HOW COULD HE BELIEVE THAT I WAS FINE ENOUGH TO HANDLE AN OUTFIT CHANGE? A LEATHER ONE? BE SERIOUS, TIMOTHÉE! THAT WAS A BOLD MOVE AND WE ARE STILL RECOVERING MONTHS APART.

         FASHION CREDITS: “A STAR IS BORN” PART I

Lady Gaga takes the role of “Ally” in the romantic drama music film “A Star is Born”, directed by Bradley Cooper who also plays the main character “Jackson Maine” beside Gaga. The movie celebrated its worldwide release on October 4, 2018. This is the first part of our fashion breakdown!

The costume styling was done by movie costume designer Erin Benach, her hair by Frederic Aspiras and makeup by Sarah Nicole Tanno.

Right after her shift at the restaurant, Ally headed to her local drag bar to perform ‘La Vie en Rose’.

In this scene she wears the black silk short cami slip dress from Nili Lotan’s Fall/Winter 2016 collection, paired with black fishnet tights, heels and DIY duct tape eyebrows inspired by the 20s beauty trend.

Jackson invites Ally for some drinks at the cop bar before she gets into a fight. She changed into her casual attire which included a vintage leather jacket, a crop top and jeans. 

The top is the Topshop Petite green ribbed choker crop top with full-length sleeves, which is sold out.

She’s also wearing the Becky bootcut stretch denim jeans in “Washed Sky” by Parker Smith.

Her gorgeous shoes are the Marc Fisher Naples red suede caged pumps.

The next morning, Ally gets picked up by Jackson’s chauffeur to be brought to the airport.

She’s wearing a vintage “Tourmato” 1978 tour T-shirt by UK rock band Yes. Her version features black mesh sleeves and neck.

We know this look as Ally’s main look  in the movie.

She’s wearing a vintage eagle & arrows print T-shirt. The original heritage of the motif is unknown but it’s been used on book covers and in the marine for ages.

Her Tommy pinstripe jeans with metal portholes and chains are by Miaou that costume designer Erin Benach got tailored into a more skinny fit.

The jewelry for this look was created by Loren Stewart. Ally wears a pair of the square & diamond 14-karat gold bar stud earrings.

Her necklaces were custom-made. Those included the “Ally” nameplate gold necklace and a sterling silver long chain link necklace.

One of the rings is the Solitaire Rebel ring, while the other is the gold Shakti ring with diamonds.

She’s also wearing the classic Ray-Ban Wayfarer 2140 shades when getting onto the private jet.

For her flight she opted for the comfortable Converse Chuck Taylor All Star black canvas lace-up sneakers. Timeless!

For her life-changing stage moment in Arizona, she changed into these silver paillette-embellished black suede stiletto pumps from the 2013 Isabel Marant for H&M collaborative capsule collection.

The eye-catching piece she’s wearing is by ZARA. This is not the first time the singer sported something by the Spanish high street label. 

The light bodysuit boasts an oriental floral print all over and comes with a cravatte that can be tied around the neck.

Her boots are the Tory Burch Fall/Winter 2015 Sarava leather knee boots in “Red Agathe”. These boast a stacked heel, round toes and a woven strap around the ankle.

When recording ‘Look What I Found’ in the studio, Ally can be seen wearing this super cool scarf jacket by Ebony & Ivory, which is made of two scarves, which are made of burnout velvet. 

Two large peacocks and flowers decorate both the front and back of this oversize cut jacket. It’s embroidered with delicate pearls and fringes on the hem make the jacket a casual and elegant all-rounder.

For one of her stage looks, Ally wore a blue version of this ultra rare vintage 1970s Jeff Banks floral print balloon sleeve blouse.

In one of the deleted scenes, we can spot Gaga sporting this adorable cobalt-blue tie-front blouson top with puff sleeves and matching high-waisted crop pants, both from Mara Hoffman’s Spring/Summer 2017 lookbook.

During the Coachella performance (as seen in the “Look What I Found” music video) Ally wears the Tarta ruffled swiss dot mini dress with plunging neckline and back zipper by For Love & Lemons.

The red, pink & purple muscle tank dress with fringed hem, she used in one of the outtake scenes, is by Raquel Allegra. 

This rayon dress features a tie-dye effect allover and was from the Fall/Winter 2017 collection.

She paired it with the Bri Bri leopard printed leather double buckle Western belt by B-Low the Belt.

While getting out of the tour bus in a short sequence, we can see Ally rocking the Nico leopard print skinny jeans from Hudson Jeans Fall/Winter 2016 collection.

For the “Always Remember Us This Way” performance, Ally rocks a custom flower appliqué white jumpsuit with gold piping designed by Erin Benach.

In the scene pictured above, Ally wears another design by Raquel Allegra. This is the black, rose & blue leopard print rayon wide-leg trousers from the Spring/Summer 2017 collection.
