Angelica Jones was a mutant who had the power to generate Microwave Energy, where Emma Frost christened her with the name Firestar, and became part of her Hellions. Later, Firestar became part of the New Warriors, and later became part of the Avengers roster as a reserve member together with fellow mutant Justice. After the first Civil War, Angelica gave up heroics and retired.
