I both hate and love that I can develop an interest in something I would otherwise never have heard of. for example, I don’t know what fire emblum is or what the fuck is going on but I keep seeing art and I’ve had to fight the urge to dive deeper because I know I’ll be disappointed. I don’t have a nintendo. I will not play the game. and yet I’m sitting here looking at art of this sad/angry/crazy blonde haired boy and this cheeky/charming/also maybe sad?? brown haired boy and a man/woman teacher with green hair they might be in love with or who might be their mortal enemy. there is no scenario in which I play this game but here I am, looking at art, having an emotional reaction.

How I entered/learned about the said game/show/movie/etc of that fandom: I don’t remember why but I picked up Fire Emblem 7 for the GBA one day. I never finished it because it was too hard, but I zoomed in on Awakening once it came out because it was familiar.

Fave character: Depending on my mood it’s either Maribelle or Gangrel

Least fave character: I try not to hate the characters themselves but rather how they are written and handled by the games. See: half of the Fates cast. So much wasted potential.............
