They gave you such a good reason to hate Kronya and gave her power. She could have been such an amazing evil to deal with latter. Or at least let her show up a couple battles later so we could get are wanted and well deserved revenge. But instead she just gets killed off immediately by some other big bad. Like brooooooo. She infiltrated back into the academy and like bro she isn't useless or stupid so she could legit be a compelling villian. Especially with the fact she fuckin killed your dad and all.

Why do so many FE villains feel like wasted potential (or just not needed at all)?

3 Houses really buried the lead with TWSITD, while Validar and Grima didn't show up as much as they should've (imo) in Awakening but Gangrel and Walhart and Co. felt like they were randomly thrown in. Fates kinda followed in "Awakening" footsteps by underutilizing the main villain, and The Hounds in Engage could've been so much better to me.

I half wish it was possible to get Kronya on some redemption arc bullshit cause like. That is someone who was raised from childhood to be an assassin in the shittiest possible environment to grow up in. So she could be used as bait and a literal human (?) (Not sure if the agarthans are actually human or not) sacrifice. Like, she looks like a teenager to me. Granted that could place her anywhere on the age spectrum considering it's fire emblem but like. Still

Also I'm just a sucker for dynamics like 'you have caused me deep, irreparable harm as a person, but also you're trying to change your ways and are aiding us now, so while I will never like you, I will not actively be a threat to you'
