please tell me I'm not the only person who remembers that book four plot point in Feh of Shareena and Peony having switched lives with each other so much THEY FORGOT who was originally who. Like, sure, they say it doesn't matter, and to them it doesn't, they're so happy go lucky they just wouldn't care. But....there is a very real chance that the Shareena we know, isn't the original Shareena. There's a very big chance the original Shareena is now Peony and....we'll just never know, because they'll never expand on that plot point.

I mean, think about what this would mean for their siblings. Imagine being Alfonse or Triandra, learning, somehow, that your sibling one day stopped being your original sibling and you just....never noticed. Can you imagine what that'd do to someone's head? And what about Queen henriette? What if she found out. Because that'd not only mean that she recently lost her husband, but that, at some point while she was raising her children, her daughter was swapped out for a doppelganger and she never was able to tell the difference.

That plot point is going to haunt me and I don't see it discussed enough.

SHARENA WEEK DAY 6!!!!

SHES DONE!!!!! WHOOOO!!!!

Took me a minute to finally knock this one out and I'm honestly restraining myself from going crazy on the shading and background. But that's eight characters in a style I don't normally work in. I already over estimated the time this would take. I'm calling it here for my sanity.

But with that out of the way, I wanted to thank everyone for the support during Sharena Week!! And an even bigger thank you for the people who made stuff for it! I'm putting it all your art in my pocket. I am running away with it. I am intently staring at it once I have escaped the authorities.

This has been very fun! Big thank you for @sharenaweek / @sharenalovemail for hosting. Please please please go check out everything she's doing. Stare at 'em with your eyes!

And with that I'm gonna back into hibernation! See you once Kiran Fire Emblem inevitably takes over my brain again :D

We do though. The way that conversation is written, you're supposed to take it as they did. This is Creative Writing 101. The way Peony talks there, it's clear she knows they switched but it's too late to take back. This isn't a dropped plot or a Chekov's Gun. This is them finishing up a story and providing something tantalizing to chew on in regards to Alfonse throwing up death flags everywhere.
